< Ezekieli 40 >

In the five and twentieth year of our captivity, in the first month, on the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was smitten, on the selfsame day the hand of Jehovah was upon me, and he brought me [[thither into the city]].
In the visions of God he brought me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain, upon which was, as it were, the frame of a city toward the south.
3 Nake akĩndwara ho, na niĩ ngĩona mũndũ, na mũhianĩre wake watariĩ ta gĩcango; nake aarũngiĩ itoonyero-inĩ arĩ na rũrigi rwa gatani, na rũthanju rwa gũthima guoko-inĩ gwake.
And when he had brought me thither, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was as the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring-reed, and he stood in the gate.
Ĩra andũ a nyũmba ya Isiraeli maũndũ mothe marĩa ũkuona.”
And the man said to me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes and hear with thine ears, and give heed to all which I shall show thee; for to the intent that I might show them to thee art thou brought hither; declare all which thou seest to the house of Israel!
And behold, a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man's hand a measuring reed, in length six cubits of a cubit and a handbreadth; and he measured the breadth of the wall, one reed; and the height, one reed.
Then came he to the gate, which looked toward the east, and went up the steps thereof, and measured the upper threshold of the gate, one reed broad, and the other threshold of the gate one reed broad.
7 Natuo tũnyũmba twa arangĩri twarĩ twa mĩkono ĩtandatũ kũraiha, na mĩkono ĩtandatũ kwarama, na itĩĩna rĩa kuuma kanyũmba kamwe nginya karĩa kangĩ rĩarĩ rĩa mĩkono ĩtano.
