Ezekieli 25
1 Kiugo kĩa Jehova nĩkĩanginyĩrĩire ngĩĩrwo atĩrĩ:
And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,
2 “Mũrũ wa mũndũ, erekeria ũthiũ waku harĩ Aamoni, na ũmarathĩre ũhoro wa kũmookĩrĩra.
“Son of man, set your face toward the sons of Ammon, and prophesy against them;
3 Meere atĩrĩ, ‘Iguai kiugo kĩa Mwathani Jehova. Ũũ nĩguo Mwathani Jehova ekuuga: Tondũ nĩmuoigire, “Aha!” Igũrũ rĩa harĩa-hakwa-haamũre hĩndĩ ĩrĩa haathaahirio, o na igũrũ rĩa bũrũri wa Isiraeli rĩrĩa wanangirwo, na ningĩ igũrũ rĩa andũ a Juda hĩndĩ ĩrĩa maatahirwo-rĩ,
and you have said to the sons of Ammon: Hear a word of Lord YHWH! Thus said Lord YHWH: Because of your saying, Aha, to My sanctuary, Because it has been defiled, And to the ground of Israel, Because it has been desolate, And to the house of Judah, Because they have gone into a removal:
4 nĩ ũndũ ũcio nĩngũmũneana kũrĩ andũ a kũu irathĩro mũtuĩke kĩndũ kĩao. Nĩmagaaka kambĩ ciikaro ciao na mambe hema ciao, thĩinĩ wanyu; nĩmakaarĩa matunda manyu, na manyue iria rĩanyu.
Therefore, behold, I am giving you to sons of the east for a possession, And they set their towers in you, And have placed their dwelling places in you. They eat your fruit, and they drink your milk,
5 Nĩngagarũra Raba gũtuĩke ũrĩithio wa ngamĩĩra, nakuo Amoni gũtuĩke gwa kwarahwo nĩ ngʼondu. Hĩndĩ ĩyo nĩmũkamenya atĩ niĩ nĩ niĩ Jehova.
And I have given Rabbah for a habitation of camels, And the sons of Ammon for the crouching of a flock, And you have known that I [am] YHWH.
6 Nĩgũkorwo ũũ nĩguo Mwathani Jehova ekuuga: Tondũ inyuĩ nĩmũhũũrĩte hĩ na mũkaringithia makinya manyu thĩ, mũgĩkenagĩrĩra bũrũri wa Isiraeli mũrĩ na rũmena ruothe rwa ngoro cianyu,
For thus said Lord YHWH: Because of your clapping the hand, And of your stamping with the foot, And you rejoice with all your despite in soul Against the ground of Israel,
7 nĩ ũndũ ũcio nĩngamũtambũrũkĩria guoko gwakwa, ndĩmũũkĩrĩre na ndĩmũneane mũtahwo nĩ ndũrĩrĩ. Nĩngamweherania na ndũrĩrĩ, na ndĩmũniine mabũrũri-inĩ. Nĩngamwananga, na inyuĩ nĩmũkamenya atĩ niĩ nĩ niĩ Jehova.’”
Therefore, behold, I have stretched out My hand against you, And have given you for a portion to nations, And I have cut you off from the peoples, And caused you to perish from the lands; I destroy you, and you have known that I [am] YHWH.
8 “Mwathani Jehova ekuuga atĩrĩ: ‘Tondũ Moabi na Seiru moigire atĩrĩ, “Ta rora, nyũmba ya Juda ĩtuĩkĩte o ta ndũrĩrĩ iria ingĩ ciothe,”
Thus said Lord YHWH: Because of the saying of Moab and Seir: Behold, the house of Judah [is] as all the nations;
9 nĩ ũndũ ũcio nĩngaguũria rũbaru rwa Moabi, nyambĩrĩirie na matũũra makuo ma mĩhaka-inĩ, na nĩmo Bethi-Jeshimothu, na Baali-Meoni, na Kiriathaimu, na nĩmo monagwo marĩ riiri wa bũrũri ũcio.
Therefore, behold, I am opening the shoulder of Moab—From the cities—from his cities—from his frontier, The beauty of the land, Beth-Jeshimoth, Ba‘al-Meon, and Kiriathaim,
10 Nĩnganeana Moabi hamwe na Aamoni moko-inĩ ma andũ a Irathĩro matuĩke indo ciao, nĩgeetha Aamoni acio matikanaririkanwo ndũrĩrĩ-inĩ;
To the sons of the east, with the sons of Ammon, And I have given it for a possession, So that the sons of Ammon are not remembered among nations.
11 na niĩ nĩngaherithia Moabi. Hĩndĩ ĩyo nĩmakamenya atĩ niĩ nĩ niĩ Jehova.’”
And I do judgments in Moab, And they have known that I [am] YHWH.
12 “Mwathani Jehova ekuuga atĩrĩ: ‘Tondũ Edomu nĩerĩhĩirie harĩ nyũmba ya Juda na agĩtuĩka mũhĩtia mũno nĩ ũndũ wa gwĩka ũguo-rĩ,
Thus said Lord YHWH: Because of the doings of Edom, In taking vengeance on the house of Judah, Indeed, they are very guilty, And they have taken vengeance on them.
13 nĩ ũndũ ũcio Mwathani Jehova ekuuga atĩrĩ: Nĩngatambũrũkia guoko gwakwa njũkĩrĩre Edomu na njũrage andũ akuo na mahiũ mao. Nĩngakwananga, na kuuma Timani nginya Dedani, nĩmakooragwo na rũhiũ rwa njora.
Therefore, thus said Lord YHWH: I have stretched out My hand against Edom, And I have cut off man and beast from it, And given it up—a ruin, from Teman even to Dedan, They fall by sword.
14 Nĩngerĩhĩria harĩ Edomu na guoko kwa andũ akwa Isiraeli, nao nĩmageeka Edomu kũringana na marakara makwa na mangʼũrĩ makwa; nĩmakamenya kwĩrĩhĩria gwakwa, ũguo nĩguo Mwathani Jehova ekuuga.’”
And I have given My vengeance on Edom, By the hand of My people Israel, And they have done in Edom, According to My anger, and according to My fury, And they have known My vengeance, A declaration of Lord YHWH.
15 “Mwathani Jehova ekuuga atĩrĩ; ‘Tondũ Afilisti nĩmekire maũndũ ma kwĩrĩhĩria, na makĩĩrĩhĩria marĩ na rũmena ngoro-inĩ ciao na marĩ na muku wa matukũ maingĩ magĩtua atĩ nĩmekwananga Juda,
Thus said Lord YHWH: Because of the doings of the Philistines in vengeance, And they take vengeance with despite in soul, Destruction [with] continuous enmity,
16 nĩ ũndũ ũcio Mwathani Jehova ekuuga ũũ: Ngirie gũtambũrũkia guoko gwakwa njũkĩrĩre Afilisti, na nĩngeheria Akerethi na nyanange arĩa matigaire ndwere-inĩ cia iria.
Therefore, thus said Lord YHWH: Behold, I am stretching out My hand against the Philistines, And I have cut off the Cherethim, And destroyed the remnant of the haven of the sea,
17 Nĩngerĩhĩria harĩo na rĩĩrĩhĩria inene na ndĩmaherithie ndĩ na mangʼũrĩ. Hĩndĩ ĩyo nĩmakamenya atĩ niĩ nĩ niĩ Jehova, hĩndĩ ĩrĩa ngeerĩhĩria harĩo.’”
And done great vengeance on them with furious reproofs, And they have known that I [am] YHWH, In My giving out My vengeance on them!”
