Ezekieli 25
1 Kiugo kĩa Jehova nĩkĩanginyĩrĩire ngĩĩrwo atĩrĩ:
And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 “Mũrũ wa mũndũ, erekeria ũthiũ waku harĩ Aamoni, na ũmarathĩre ũhoro wa kũmookĩrĩra.
Son of man, set thy face against the sons of 'Ammon, and prophesy against them;
3 Meere atĩrĩ, ‘Iguai kiugo kĩa Mwathani Jehova. Ũũ nĩguo Mwathani Jehova ekuuga: Tondũ nĩmuoigire, “Aha!” Igũrũ rĩa harĩa-hakwa-haamũre hĩndĩ ĩrĩa haathaahirio, o na igũrũ rĩa bũrũri wa Isiraeli rĩrĩa wanangirwo, na ningĩ igũrũ rĩa andũ a Juda hĩndĩ ĩrĩa maatahirwo-rĩ,
And say unto the sons of 'Ammon, Hear ye the word of the Lord Eternal, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Because thou hast said, Aha, concerning my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and concerning the land of Israel, when it was made desolate; and concerning the house of Judah, when they went into exile:
4 nĩ ũndũ ũcio nĩngũmũneana kũrĩ andũ a kũu irathĩro mũtuĩke kĩndũ kĩao. Nĩmagaaka kambĩ ciikaro ciao na mambe hema ciao, thĩinĩ wanyu; nĩmakaarĩa matunda manyu, na manyue iria rĩanyu.
Therefore, behold, I will give thee up to the children of the east for a possession, and they shall set up their towers in thee, and place in thee their dwellings; they shall indeed eat thy fruit, and they shall surely drink thy milk.
5 Nĩngagarũra Raba gũtuĩke ũrĩithio wa ngamĩĩra, nakuo Amoni gũtuĩke gwa kwarahwo nĩ ngʼondu. Hĩndĩ ĩyo nĩmũkamenya atĩ niĩ nĩ niĩ Jehova.
And I will change Rabbah into a pasture for camels, and [the land of] the sons of 'Ammon into a resting-place for flocks: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
6 Nĩgũkorwo ũũ nĩguo Mwathani Jehova ekuuga: Tondũ inyuĩ nĩmũhũũrĩte hĩ na mũkaringithia makinya manyu thĩ, mũgĩkenagĩrĩra bũrũri wa Isiraeli mũrĩ na rũmena ruothe rwa ngoro cianyu,
For thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Whereas thou didst clap thy hands, and stamp with thy feet, and rejoice with all thy derision in the soul over the land of Israel:
7 nĩ ũndũ ũcio nĩngamũtambũrũkĩria guoko gwakwa, ndĩmũũkĩrĩre na ndĩmũneane mũtahwo nĩ ndũrĩrĩ. Nĩngamweherania na ndũrĩrĩ, na ndĩmũniine mabũrũri-inĩ. Nĩngamwananga, na inyuĩ nĩmũkamenya atĩ niĩ nĩ niĩ Jehova.’”
Therefore, behold, will I stretch out my hand over thee, and will give thee up for a spoil to the nations; and I will cut thee off from the people, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries; I will destroy thee, and thou shalt know that I am the Lord.
8 “Mwathani Jehova ekuuga atĩrĩ: ‘Tondũ Moabi na Seiru moigire atĩrĩ, “Ta rora, nyũmba ya Juda ĩtuĩkĩte o ta ndũrĩrĩ iria ingĩ ciothe,”
Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Because Moab and Se'ir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations:
9 nĩ ũndũ ũcio nĩngaguũria rũbaru rwa Moabi, nyambĩrĩirie na matũũra makuo ma mĩhaka-inĩ, na nĩmo Bethi-Jeshimothu, na Baali-Meoni, na Kiriathaimu, na nĩmo monagwo marĩ riiri wa bũrũri ũcio.
Therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth-ha-yeshimoth, Ba'al-me'on, and Kiryathayim,
10 Nĩnganeana Moabi hamwe na Aamoni moko-inĩ ma andũ a Irathĩro matuĩke indo ciao, nĩgeetha Aamoni acio matikanaririkanwo ndũrĩrĩ-inĩ;
Unto the children of the east [coming] against the sons of 'Ammon, and I will give them in possession; in order that the sons of 'Ammon may not be remembered among the nations.
11 na niĩ nĩngaherithia Moabi. Hĩndĩ ĩyo nĩmakamenya atĩ niĩ nĩ niĩ Jehova.’”
And on Moab will I execute judgments: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
12 “Mwathani Jehova ekuuga atĩrĩ: ‘Tondũ Edomu nĩerĩhĩirie harĩ nyũmba ya Juda na agĩtuĩka mũhĩtia mũno nĩ ũndũ wa gwĩka ũguo-rĩ,
Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Because the Edomites have acted revengefully against the house of Judah, and have greatly offended, and have taken vengeance on them:
13 nĩ ũndũ ũcio Mwathani Jehova ekuuga atĩrĩ: Nĩngatambũrũkia guoko gwakwa njũkĩrĩre Edomu na njũrage andũ akuo na mahiũ mao. Nĩngakwananga, na kuuma Timani nginya Dedani, nĩmakooragwo na rũhiũ rwa njora.
Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, I will also stretch out my hand against Edom, and cut off from it man and beast; and I will make it a ruined land from Theman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword.
14 Nĩngerĩhĩria harĩ Edomu na guoko kwa andũ akwa Isiraeli, nao nĩmageeka Edomu kũringana na marakara makwa na mangʼũrĩ makwa; nĩmakamenya kwĩrĩhĩria gwakwa, ũguo nĩguo Mwathani Jehova ekuuga.’”
And I will display my vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel; and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my fury: and they shall feel my vengeance, saith the Lord Eternal.
15 “Mwathani Jehova ekuuga atĩrĩ; ‘Tondũ Afilisti nĩmekire maũndũ ma kwĩrĩhĩria, na makĩĩrĩhĩria marĩ na rũmena ngoro-inĩ ciao na marĩ na muku wa matukũ maingĩ magĩtua atĩ nĩmekwananga Juda,
Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Because the Philistines have acted in revenge, and have taken vengeance with derision in their soul, to destroy out of ancient enmity:
16 nĩ ũndũ ũcio Mwathani Jehova ekuuga ũũ: Ngirie gũtambũrũkia guoko gwakwa njũkĩrĩre Afilisti, na nĩngeheria Akerethi na nyanange arĩa matigaire ndwere-inĩ cia iria.
Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I will stretch out my hand against the Philistines, and I will cut off the Kerethim, and destroy the remnant of the [dwellers] of the sea-coast.
17 Nĩngerĩhĩria harĩo na rĩĩrĩhĩria inene na ndĩmaherithie ndĩ na mangʼũrĩ. Hĩndĩ ĩyo nĩmakamenya atĩ niĩ nĩ niĩ Jehova, hĩndĩ ĩrĩa ngeerĩhĩria harĩo.’”
And I will execute on them great vengeances with furious chastisements: and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I display my vengeance on them.
