1 Nake Jehova akĩĩra Musa atĩrĩ, “Ambata, ũũke kũrĩ Jehova, wee na Harũni, na Nadabu, na Abihu, na athuuri mĩrongo mũgwanja a Isiraeli, mũinamĩrĩre mũhooe mũrĩ haraaya,

and to(wards) Moses to say to ascend: rise to(wards) LORD you(m. s.) and Aaron Nadab and Abihu and seventy from old: elder Israel and to bow from distant

and to approach: approach Moses to/for alone him to(wards) LORD and they(masc.) not to approach: approach and [the] people not to ascend: rise with him

3 Nake Musa agĩthiĩ na akĩĩra andũ ciugo ciothe cia Jehova na mawatho make, nao andũ magĩĩtĩkanĩria na mũgambo ũmwe, makiuga atĩrĩ, “Ũrĩa wothe Jehova oigĩte, nĩtũgwĩka.”

and to come (in): come Moses and to recount to/for people [obj] all word LORD and [obj] all [the] justice: judgement and to answer all [the] people voice one and to say all [the] word which to speak: speak LORD to make: do

4 Nake Musa akĩandĩka ũhoro wothe ũrĩa Jehova aarĩtie. Mũthenya ũyũ ũngĩ agĩũkĩra rũciinĩ tene, agĩaka kĩgongona magũrũ-inĩ ma kĩrĩma, na akĩrũgamia itugĩ ikũmi na igĩrĩ cia mahiga irũgamĩrĩire mĩhĩrĩga ikũmi na ĩĩrĩ ya Isiraeli.

and to write Moses [obj] all word LORD and to rise in/on/with morning and to build altar underneath: under [the] mountain: mount and two ten pillar to/for two ten tribe Israel

5 Ningĩ agĩtũma aanake amwe a Isiraeli, nao makĩruta magongona ma njino, na magĩthĩnja tũtegwa tũrĩ igongona rĩa ũiguano kũrĩ Jehova.

6 Musa akĩoya nuthu ya thakame yatuo akĩmĩĩkĩra mbakũri-inĩ, na nuthu ĩrĩa ĩngĩ akĩmĩminjaminjĩria kĩgongona kĩu.

and to take: take Moses half [the] blood and to set: put in/on/with vessel and half [the] blood to scatter upon [the] altar

7 Ningĩ akĩoya Ibuku rĩa Kĩrĩkanĩro, na akĩrĩthomera andũ. Nao andũ magĩĩtĩkanĩria, makiuga atĩrĩ, “Nĩtũgwĩka ũrĩa wothe Jehova oigĩte; nĩtũgwathĩka.”

and to take: take scroll: book [the] covenant and to call: read out in/on/with ear: hearing [the] people and to say all which to speak: speak LORD to make: do and to hear: obey

8 Musa agĩcooka akĩoya thakame ĩyo, akĩmĩminjaminjĩria andũ, na akiuga atĩrĩ, “Ĩno nĩ thakame ya kĩrĩkanĩro kĩrĩa Jehova aarĩkanĩire na inyuĩ kũringana na ciugo ici ciothe.”

and to take: take Moses [obj] [the] blood and to scatter upon [the] people and to say behold blood [the] covenant which to cut: make(covenant) LORD with you upon all [the] word [the] these

9 Musa na Harũni, na Nadabu na Abihu hamwe na athuuri acio mĩrongo mũgwanja a Isiraeli makĩambata,

and to ascend: rise Moses and Aaron Nadab and Abihu and seventy from old: elder Israel

10 na makĩona Ngai wa Isiraeli. Rungu rwa makinya make haarĩ handũ haakĩtwo wega na mahiga ma yakuti ya bururu, matherete o ta igũrũ rĩo rĩene.

and to see: see [obj] God Israel and underneath: under foot his like/as deed: work brick [the] sapphire and like/as bone: same [the] heaven to/for purity

11 No Jehova ndaigana kũhũũra atongoria acio a Isiraeli; nĩmoonire Ngai, na makĩrĩa na makĩnyua.

and to(wards) chief son: descendant/people Israel not to send: reach hand his and to see [obj] [the] God and to eat and to drink

12 Nake Jehova akĩĩra Musa atĩrĩ, “Ambata, ũũke kũrĩ niĩ kĩrĩma igũrũ, na ũikare ho, na nĩngũcooka ngũnengere ihengere cia mahiga, irĩ na maandĩko ma watho na maathani marĩa nyandĩkĩte nĩguo ũmarutage andũ a Isiraeli.”

and to say LORD to(wards) Moses to ascend: rise to(wards) me [the] mountain: mount [to] and to be there and to give: give to/for you [obj] tablet [the] stone and [the] instruction and [the] commandment which to write to/for to show them

13 Ningĩ Musa akiumagara marĩ na mũteithĩrĩria wake Joshua, nake Musa akĩambata kĩrĩma-inĩ kĩa Ngai.

and to arise: rise Moses and Joshua to minister him and to ascend: rise Moses to(wards) mountain: mount [the] God

14 Akĩĩra athuuri acio atĩrĩ, “Twetererei haha nginya rĩrĩa tũgaacooka. Harũni na Huri marĩ hamwe na inyuĩ, mũndũ o wothe ũrĩa ũngĩgĩa na ciira nĩathiiage kũrĩ o.”

15 Rĩrĩa Musa aambatire kĩrĩma-inĩ, itu rĩkĩhumbĩra kĩrĩma,

16 naguo riiri wa Jehova ũgĩikara igũrũ rĩa Kĩrĩma gĩa Sinai. Kĩrĩma gĩkĩhumbĩrwo nĩ itu rĩu mĩthenya ĩtandatũ, na mũthenya wa mũgwanja Jehova agĩĩta Musa arĩ itu-inĩ rĩu.

and to dwell glory LORD upon mountain: mount Sinai and to cover him [the] cloud six day and to call: call to to(wards) Moses in/on/with day [the] seventh from midst [the] cloud

17 andũ a Isiraeli moonaga riiri wa Jehova ũtariĩ ta mwaki wa kũniinana ũrĩ kĩrĩma igũrũ.

and appearance glory LORD like/as fire to eat in/on/with head: top [the] mountain: mount to/for eye: seeing son: descendant/people Israel

18 Hĩndĩ ĩyo Musa agĩtoonya itu-inĩ o akĩambataga kĩrĩma. Agĩikara kũu kĩrĩma-inĩ matukũ mĩrongo ĩna, ũtukũ na mũthenya.

and to come (in): come Moses in/on/with midst [the] cloud and to ascend: rise to(wards) [the] mountain: mount and to be Moses in/on/with mountain: mount forty day and forty night
