< Danieli 12 >
1 “Na rĩrĩ, hĩndĩ ĩyo Mikaeli, mũnene ũrĩa ũgitagĩra andũ anyu, nĩakarahũka. Nĩgũkaagĩa ihinda rĩa mĩnyamaro mĩingĩ ĩtarĩ yoneka ĩngĩ tayo kuuma rĩrĩa andũ mambĩrĩrie gũtuĩka ndũrĩrĩ nginya hĩndĩ ĩyo. No rĩrĩ, hĩndĩ ĩyo nĩguo andũ anyu makaahonokio, mũndũ o wothe ũrĩa ũgaakorwo aandĩkĩtwo ibuku-inĩ.
And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who standeth for the children of thy people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time; and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2 Kĩrĩndĩ kĩingĩ kĩa arĩa makomete rũkũngũ-inĩ rwa thĩ nĩmakariũkio: amwe mariũkĩre muoyo-inĩ ũrĩa ũtagaathira, nao arĩa angĩ mariũke nĩgeetha maconorithio na matũũre marĩ amene tene na tene.
And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to reproaches and everlasting abhorrence.
3 Arĩa oogĩ magaacangarara ta ũtheri wa igũrũ, nao arĩa macookagia andũ njĩra-inĩ cia ũthingu magaakenga ta njata tene na tene.
And they that are wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn the many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
4 No wee, Danieli, hinga ibuku na ũhũũre mũhũũri ciugo icio nyandĩke ibuku-inĩ rĩu rĩa gĩkũnjo, nginya rĩrĩa ithirĩro rĩgaakinya. Amu andũ aingĩ nĩmakorũũraga kũndũ na kũndũ nĩguo mongerere ũmenyo.”
But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.'
5 Thuutha wa maũndũ macio, niĩ Danieli ngĩrora, ngĩona hau mbere yakwa harũngiĩ andũ angĩ eerĩ, ũmwe wao arũngiĩ hũgũrũrũ-inĩ cia mũrĩmo ũyũ wa rũũĩ nake ũcio ũngĩ akarũgama hũgũrũrũ-inĩ cia mũrĩmo ũrĩa ũngĩ.
Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on the bank of the river on this side, and the other on the bank of the river on that side.
6 Ũmwe wao akĩarĩria mũndũ ũcio wehumbĩte nguo cia gatani, o ũcio warũgamĩte igũrũ rĩa maaĩ ma rũũĩ, akĩmũũria atĩrĩ, “Maũndũ macio ma kũgegania megũikara ihinda rĩigana atĩa magĩkahinga?”
And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river: 'How long shall it be to the end of the wonders?'
And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he lifted up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and swore by Him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when they have made an end of breaking in pieces the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
8 Niĩ ngĩĩiguĩra maũndũ macio, no ndiigana gũtaũkĩrwo nĩ mo. Nĩ ũndũ ũcio ngĩmũũria atĩrĩ, “Mwathi wakwa, kĩrĩkĩrĩro kĩa maũndũ macio mothe-rĩ, gĩgaakorwo kĩrĩ kĩĩ?”
And I heard, but I understood not; then said I: 'O my Lord, what shall be the latter end of these things?'
9 Nake akĩnjookeria, akĩnjĩĩra atĩrĩ, “Wee Danieli wĩthiĩre, tondũ ciugo icio nĩhingĩre na ikahũũrwo mũhũũri nginya ihinda rĩa ithirĩro.
And he said: 'Go thy way, Daniel; for the words are shut up and sealed till the time of the end.
10 Andũ aingĩ nĩmagatherio, mathirwo nĩ gĩko merũhio, taarĩ gũkumuthwo makumuthĩtwo magathera, no arĩa aaganu nĩmagakĩrĩrĩria kwagana, na gũtirĩ o na ũmwe wao ũkaamenya gĩtũmi kĩa maũndũ macio, no arĩa oogĩ nĩmakamamenya.
Many shall purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined; but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand; but they that are wise shall understand.
11 “Kuuma ihinda rĩrĩa magongona ma o mũthenya makaniinwo, na ithenya rĩamo harũgamio kĩndũ kĩrĩa kĩrĩ thaahu, kĩrĩa kĩngĩtũma bũrũri ũkire ihooru, gũgaakorwo kũrĩ mĩthenya 1,290.
And from the time that the continual burnt-offering shall be taken away, and the detestable thing that causes appalment set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12 Kũrathimwo-rĩ, nĩ ũrĩa ũgweterera na akinyĩrie mũthia wa mĩthenya 1,335.
Happy is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
13 “No wee-rĩ, wĩthiĩre nginya hĩndĩ ĩrĩa ithirĩro rĩgaakinya. Nĩũkahurũka, na ningĩ marigĩrĩrio ma mĩthenya ĩyo nĩũkariũka nĩgeetha wamũkĩre igai rĩaku.”
But go thou thy way till the end be; and thou shalt rest, and shalt stand up to thy lot, at the end of the days.'
