And Peter and John were going up together to the temple, at the hour of prayer, which is the ninth hour.
2 Na rĩrĩ, mũndũ waciarĩtwo arĩ mwonju nĩakuuagwo agatwarwo kĩhingo-inĩ kĩa hekarũ kĩrĩa gĩetagwo Gĩthaka, akaigwo ho o mũthenya nĩguo ahooe mbeeca kũrĩ andũ arĩa maatoonyaga hekarũ.
And a certain man lame from his birth was carried along, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of those who entered the temple;
3 Na rĩrĩa onire Petero na Johana marĩ hakuhĩ gũtoonya-rĩ, akĩmahooya mbeeca.
who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked alms.
4 Nao Petero na Johana makĩmũkũũrĩra maitho. Hĩndĩ ĩyo Petero akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Ta tũrore!”
And Peter fixing his eyes upon him, with John, said, Look upon us.
5 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio mũndũ ũcio akĩmarora, erĩgĩrĩire atĩ nĩmekũmũhe kĩndũ.
And he gave heed to them, expecting to receive something from them.
6 Petero agĩcooka akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Betha na thahabu ndirĩ nacio, no kĩrĩa ndĩ nakĩo nĩkĩo ngũkũhe. Thĩinĩ wa rĩĩtwa rĩa Jesũ Kristũ wa Nazarethi, ũkĩra wĩtware.”
Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but what I have I give thee. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, rise up and walk.
And grasping him by the right hand, he raised him up; and immediately his feet and ankles received strength.
8 Nake akĩrũga na igũrũ, akĩambĩrĩria gwĩtwara. Agĩcooka agĩthiĩ nao hekarũ-inĩ, etwarĩte na magũrũ, akĩrũgarũgaga na akĩgoocaga Ngai.
And leaping forth he stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking and leaping, praising God.
9 Rĩrĩa andũ othe monire agĩĩtwara na magũrũ akĩgoocaga Ngai,
And all the people saw him walking, and praising God;
10 makĩmenya atĩ nĩ mũndũ ũrĩa watũũraga aikarĩte kĩhingo-inĩ kĩa hekarũ kĩrĩa gĩetagwo Gĩthaka akĩhooya mbeeca. Nao makĩgega mamakĩte nĩkuona ũrĩa kwahanĩkĩte harĩ mũndũ ũcio.
and they recognized him as the man that sat for alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened to him.
11 Mũndũ ũcio watũũrĩte ahooyaga mbeeca-rĩ, o enyiitĩrĩire Petero na Johana, andũ othe makĩgega na magĩũka matengʼerete nginya hau maarĩ, naho heetagwo Gĩthaku gĩa Solomoni.
And as he held fast to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch that is called Solomon's greatly wondering.
12 Rĩrĩa Petero onire ũguo, akĩmeera atĩrĩ, “Andũ aya a Isiraeli, ũndũ ũyũ ũramũgegia nĩkĩ? Mũratũrora atĩa taarĩ hinya witũ kana ũthingu witũ watũma mũndũ ũyũ etware na magũrũ?
But Peter seeing it, answered the people: Men of Israel, why wonder ye at this? Or why look ye earnestly on us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man to walk?
The God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his servant Jesus, whom ye indeed delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release him.
14 Mwakaanire Ũrĩa Mũtheru na Mũthingu mũkiuga muohorerwo mũũragani.
But ye denied the holy and righteous one, and asked that a murderer should be granted to you.
15 Mworagire ũrĩa mũheani wa muoyo, no Ngai nĩamũriũkirie kuuma kũrĩ arĩa akuũ. Ithuĩ tũrĩ aira a ũhoro ũcio.
But the author of life ye killed; whom God raised from the dead, whereof we are witnesses.
And his name, through faith in his name, made this man strong, whom ye see and know; yea, the faith which is through him gave him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
17 “Na rĩrĩ, ariũ a Ithe witũ, nĩnjũũĩ atĩ mwekire ũguo nĩ ũndũ wa kũrigwo, o ta ũrĩa atongoria anyu o nao meekire.
And now, brethren, I know that ye acted in ignorance, as did also your rulers.
18 No rĩrĩ, ũguo nĩguo Ngai aahingirie ũrĩa aarĩtie o mbere na tũnua twa anabii othe, akiuga atĩ Kristũ wake nĩakanyariirĩka.
But God thus fulfilled what he had before announced by the mouth of all the prophets, that his Christ should suffer.
Repent therefore and turn from your ways, that your sins may be blotted out, in order that the times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,

and that he may send forth Christ Jesus, who was before appointed for you;
21 We no nginya aikare igũrũ o nginya ihinda rĩkinye rĩa Ngai rĩa gũcookereria maũndũ mothe, o ta ũrĩa eranĩire o tene na tũnua twa anabii aake atheru. (aiōn g165)
whom heaven indeed must receive until the times of a restoration of all things; of which times God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets from the days of old. (aiōn g165)
22 Nĩgũkorwo Musa oigire atĩrĩ, ‘Mwathani Ngai wanyu nĩakamwarahũrĩra mũnabii o ta niĩ kuuma kũrĩ andũ anyu. Na no nginya mũgaathikĩrĩria ũrĩa wothe akaamwĩra.
Moses indeed said, “A prophet will the Lord your God raise up to you from among your brethren, as be raised up me; him shall ye hear in all things, whatever he shall speak to you.
And it shall come to pass, that every soul which doth not hear that prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.”
24 “Ti-itherũ, anabii othe kuuma hĩndĩ ya Samũeli, arĩa manaaria, nĩ maaririe ũhoro wa matukũ maya.
And all the prophets also, Samuel and those who followed, as many as spoke, announced these days.
25 Na inyuĩ mũrĩ ariũ a anabii, na a kĩrĩkanĩro kĩrĩa Ngai aarĩkanĩire na maithe manyu. Eerire Iburahĩmu atĩrĩ, ‘Na nĩ ũndũ wa rũciaro rwaku, andũ othe a thĩ nĩmakarathimwo.’
Ye are the sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, “And in thy posterity shall all the families of the earth be blessed.”
To you first, God, having raised up his servant, sent him to bless you in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.
