1 Na rĩrĩ, thuutha wa maũndũ macio, Abisalomu agĩĩthondekera ngaari cia ita na mbarathi, na andũ mĩrongo ĩtano a gũthiiaga mbere yake matengʼerete.
Therfor aftir these thingis Absolon made a chaar to hym, and knyytis, and fifti men, that schulden go bifor hym.
2 Nake ookĩraga rũciinĩ tene akarũgama mũkĩra-inĩ wa njĩra ĩrĩa yathiiaga kĩhingo-inĩ gĩa itũũra rĩrĩa inene. And Absolon answeride to hym, Thi wordis semen to me good and iust, but noon is ordeyned of the kyng to here thee. And Absolon seide, Who schal ordeyne me iuge on the lond,
4 Ningĩ Abisalomu akamwĩra atĩrĩ, “Naarĩ korwo ndaatuuo mũciiri wa bũrũri ũyũ! Hĩndĩ ĩyo mũndũ o wothe ũrĩ na mateta kana ciira no ooke kũrĩ niĩ, na niĩ ngatigĩrĩra ciira wake nĩwatuuo na kĩhooto.”
that alle men that han cause come to me, and Y deme iustly?
5 Ningĩ hĩndĩ ciothe rĩrĩa mũndũ wothe amũkuhĩrĩria ainamĩrĩre mbere yake, Abisalomu agatambũrũkia guoko, akamũhĩmbĩria na akamũmumunya.
But whanne a man cam to Absolon to greete hym, he helde forth the hond, and took, and kisside that man;
6 Abisalomu ekaga ũguo kũrĩ andũ othe a Isiraeli arĩa mookaga kũrĩ mũthamaki gũcaria kĩhooto, na nĩ ũndũ ũcio akĩguucĩrĩria ngoro cia andũ a Isiraeli.
and Absolon dide this to al Israel, that cam to doom to be herd of the kyng; and Absolon drow awei the hertis of men of Israel.
7 Na rĩrĩ, mĩaka ĩna yathira, Abisalomu akĩĩra mũthamaki atĩrĩ, “Njĩtĩkĩria thiĩ Hebironi nĩgeetha ngahingie mwĩhĩtwa ũrĩa ndeehĩtire harĩ Jehova.
Forsothe aftir foure yeer Absolon seide to kyng Dauid, Y schal go, and Y schal yelde my vowis, whiche Y vowide to the Lord in Ebron;
8 Hĩndĩ ĩrĩa ndungata yaku yatũũraga Geshuru kũu Suriata, nĩndehĩtire na mwĩhĩtwa ngiuga atĩrĩ, ‘Jehova angĩkanjookia Jerusalemu, nĩngamũhooya ndĩ kũu Hebironi.’”
for thi seruaunt vowynge vowide, whanne he was in Gessur of Sirie, and seide, If the Lord bryngith ayen me in to Jerusalem, Y schal make sacrifice to the Lord.
9 Nake mũthamaki akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Thiĩ na thayũ.” Nĩ ũndũ ũcio Abisalomu agĩthiĩ Hebironi.
And the kyng seide to hym, Go thou in pees. And Absolon roos, and yede in to Ebron.
10 Hĩndĩ ĩyo Abisalomu agĩtũma andũ na hitho mĩhĩrĩga-inĩ yothe ya Isiraeli makoige atĩrĩ, “Rĩrĩa mũrĩigua tũrumbeta twahuhwo, hĩndĩ ĩyo muuge atĩrĩ, ‘Abisalomu nĩwe mũthamaki wa Hebironi.’”
Forsothe Absolon sente aspieris in to al the lynage of Israel, and seide, Anoon as ye heren the sown of clarioun, seye ye, Absolon schal regne in Ebron.

12 Na hĩndĩ ĩrĩa Abisalomu aarutaga magongona-rĩ, agĩtũmanĩra Ahithofeli ũrĩa Mũgiloni, o ũrĩa waheaga Daudi kĩrĩra, oke kuuma itũũra rĩao rĩa Gilo. Na nĩ ũndũ ũcio ndundu ya gũũkĩrĩra mũthamaki ĩkĩgĩa na hinya, nao arũmĩrĩri a Abisalomu magĩkĩrĩrĩria kũingĩha.
Also Absolon clepide Achitofel of Gilo, the councelour of Dauid, fro his citee Gilo. And whanne he offride sacrifices a strong swerynge togidere was maad, and the puple rennynge togidere was encreessid with Absolon.
13 Na rĩrĩ, hagĩũka mũndũ ũmwe watũmĩtwo kũrĩ Daudi, akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Ngoro cia andũ othe a Isiraeli irũmĩrĩire Abisalomu.”
Therfor a messanger cam to Dauid, and seide, With al herte al Israel sueth Absolon.
14 Hĩndĩ ĩyo Daudi akĩĩra anene ake othe arĩa aarĩ nao Jerusalemu atĩrĩ, “Ũkai! No nginya tũũre; kwaga ũguo gũtirĩ o na ũmwe witũ ũkũhonoka kũũragwo nĩ Abisalomu. No nginya tũthiĩ o ro rĩu, kana Abisalomu oke narua atũkorerere, atũhubanĩrie na atwanange, na ahũũre itũũra rĩĩrĩ inene na rũhiũ rwa njora.”
And Dauid seide to hise seruauntis that weren with hym in Jerusalem, Rise ye, and flee we; for noon ascaping schal be to us fro the face of Absolon; therfor haste ye to go out, lest he come, and ocupie vs, and fille on vs fallynge, and smyte the citee bi the scharpnesse of swerd.

16 Nake mũthamaki akiumagara, arũmĩrĩirwo nĩ andũ a nyũmba yake yothe; no agĩtiga thuriya ikũmi cia kũmenyerera nyũmba ya mũthamaki.
Therfor the kyng yede out, and al his hous, on her feet; and the king lefte ten wymmen concubyns, `that is, secundarie wyues, to kepe the hous.
17 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio mũthamaki akiumagara, arũmĩrĩirwo nĩ andũ acio othe, magĩthiĩ handũ haraaya, makĩrũgama ho.
And the king yede out, and al Israel, on her feet, and the kyng stood fer fro the hous.
18 Nao andũ ake othe makĩmũhĩtũka, hamwe na Akerethi othe, na Apelethi, na Agiti othe magana matandatũ arĩa maatwaranĩte hamwe nake kuuma Gathu, makĩhĩtũka magĩthiĩ mbere ya mũthamaki.
And alle hise seruauntis yeden bisidis him, and the legiouns of Cerethi and of Ferethi, and alle men of Geth `strong fiyters, sixe hundrid men, that sueden him fro Geth, yeden on foote bifor the kyng.
19 Mũthamaki akĩũria Itai ũrĩa Mũgiiti atĩrĩ, “Nĩ kĩĩ gĩgũtũma ũthiĩ hamwe na ithuĩ? Cooka ũgaikare hamwe na Mũthamaki Abisalomu. Wee ũrĩ mũndũ wa kũngĩ, mũndũ ũthaamĩte akoima bũrũri wake.
Forsothe the kyng seide to Ethai of Geth, Whi comest thou with vs? Turne thou ayen, and dwelle with the kyng, for thou art a pilgrym, and thou yedist out fro thi place.
20 Ũrookire o ira. Ingĩgwĩtĩkĩria atĩa wambĩrĩrie kũũrũũra na ithuĩ, o rĩrĩa itaramenya kũrĩa ndĩrathiĩ? Hũndũka, woe andũ a bũrũri wanyu ũcooke nao. Naguo ũtugi na wĩhokeku iroikara hamwe nawe.”
Thou camest yistirdai, and to dai thou art compellid to go out with vs. Sotheli Y schal go, whidur Y schal go; turne ayen, and lede ayen thi britheren with thee, and the Lord do mercy and treuthe with thee, for thou schewidist grace and feith.

And Ethai answeride to the kyng, and seide, The Lord lyueth, and my lord the kyng lyueth, for in what euer place thou schalt be, my lord the kyng, ether in deeth ethir in lijf, there thi seruaunt schal be.
22 Nake Daudi akĩĩra Itai atĩrĩ, “Thiĩ na mbere, ũthiĩ ũhĩtũkĩte.” Nĩ ũndũ ũcio Itai ũrĩa Mũgiiti agĩthiĩ ahĩtũkĩte hamwe na andũ ake othe, na andũ a nyũmba yake arĩa maarĩ hamwe nake.
And Dauid seide to Ethay, Come thou, and passe. And Ethai of Geth passide, and the kyng, and alle men that weren with hym, and the tother multitude.
23 Nao andũ othe a bũrũri ũcio makĩrĩra na mũgambo mũnene rĩrĩa andũ acio othe maahĩtũkaga. Mũthamaki o nake akĩringa mũrĩmo ũrĩa ũngĩ wa karũũĩ ga Kidironi, nao andũ othe magĩthiĩ merekeire werũ-inĩ.
And alle men wepten with greet vois, and al the puple passide; and the kyng yede ouer the strond of Cedron, and al the puple yede ayens the weie of the olyue tree, that biholdith to deseert.
24 Zadoku o nake aarĩ ho, na Alawii othe arĩa maarĩ hamwe nake nĩo maakuuĩte ithandũkũ rĩa kĩrĩkanĩro kĩa Ngai. Nao makĩiga ithandũkũ rĩa kĩrĩkanĩro kĩa Ngai thĩ, nake Abiatharu akĩruta magongona nginya rĩrĩa andũ othe maarĩkirie kuuma itũũra rĩu inene.
Forsothe and Sadoch the preest cam, and alle the dekenes with hym, and thei baren the arke of boond of pees of God, and thei diden doun the arke of God; and Abiathar stiede, til al the puple was passid that yede out of the citee.

And the kyng seide to Sadoch, Bere ayen the arke of God in to the citee; if Y schal fynde grace in the iyen of the Lord, he schal lede me ayen, and he schal schewe to me that arke and his tabernacle.
26 No angĩkiuga atĩrĩ, ‘Niĩ ndikenetio nĩwe,’ hĩndĩ ĩyo niĩ nĩndĩhaarĩirie; nĩanjĩke o ũrĩa wothe angĩona kwagĩrĩire.”
Sotheli if the Lord seith, Thou plesist not me; Y am redi, do he that, that is good bifor hym silf.
27 Ningĩ mũthamaki akĩĩra Zadoku ũrĩa mũthĩnjĩri-Ngai atĩrĩ, “Githĩ wee ndũrĩ muoni-maũndũ? Cooka ũthiĩ itũũra-inĩ rĩu inene na thayũ, mũrĩ na mũrũguo Ahimaazu, na Jonathani mũriũ wa Abiatharu. Wee na Abiatharu mũthiĩ na ariũ acio anyu eerĩ.
And the kyng seide to Sadoch, preest, A! thou seere, `that is, profete, turne ayen in to the citee, with pees; and Achymaas, thi sone, and Jonathas, the sone of Abiathar, youre twei sones, be with you.
28 Na niĩ ngũikara njetereire mariũko-inĩ kũu werũ-inĩ, o nginya hĩndĩ ĩrĩa ũkaandehithĩria ũhoro ũnjĩĩre ũrĩa maũndũ matariĩ.”
Lo! Y schal be hid in the feeldi places of deseert, til word come fro you, and schewe to me.
29 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio Zadoku na Abiatharu magĩkuua ithandũkũ rĩa Ngai, makĩrĩcookia Jerusalemu na magĩikara kuo.
Therfor Sadoch and Abiathar baren ayen the arke of God in to Jerusalem, and dwelliden there.
30 No Daudi agĩthiĩ na mbere kwambata kĩrĩma kĩa mĩtamaiyũ, o akĩrĩraga; nĩehumbĩrĩte mũtwe, na aarĩ magũrũ matheri. Andũ othe arĩa aarĩ nao-rĩ, o nao nĩmehumbĩrĩte mĩtwe, nao maambatire o makĩrĩraga.
Forsothe Dauid stiede on the hil of olyue trees, stiynge and wepynge, with the heed hilyd, and `goynge with nakid feet; but also al the puple that was with hym, stiede with the heed hilid, and wepte.
31 Na rĩrĩ, Daudi nĩamenyithĩtio atĩrĩ, “Ahithofeli aarĩ hamwe na arĩa maarĩ ndundu na Abisalomu.” Nĩ ũndũ ũcio Daudi akĩhooya atĩrĩ, “Wee Jehova, garũra kĩrĩra kĩa Ahithofeli, ũgĩtue ũrimũ.”
Forsothe it was teld to Dauid, that Achitofel was in the sweryng togidere with Absolon; and Dauid seide, Lord, Y byseche, make thou fonned the counsel of Achitofel.
32 Na rĩrĩa Daudi aakinyire gacũmbĩrĩ ga kĩrĩma, harĩa andũ maahooyagĩra Ngai-rĩ, Hushai ũrĩa Mũariki aarĩ hau kũmũtũnga, atembũrangĩte nguo yake ndaaya, na akeitĩrĩria tĩĩri mũtwe.
And whanne Dauid stiede in to the hiyenesse of the hil, in which he schulde worschipe the Lord, lo! Cusi of Arath, with the cloth to-rent, and with the heed ful of erthe, cam to hym.
33 Nake Daudi akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Ũngĩkorwo nĩũgũthiĩ na niĩ, ũgũtuĩka mũrigo harĩ niĩ.
And Dauid seide to hym, If thou comest with me, thou schalt be to me to charge; sotheli if thou turnest ayen in to the citee,
34 No ũngĩcooka itũũra-inĩ rĩu inene na wĩre Abisalomu atĩrĩ, ‘Nĩngũtuĩka ndungata yaku wee mũthamaki; ndĩratũire ndĩ ndungata ya thoguo mbere ĩyo, no rĩu ngũtuĩka ndungata yaku,’ hĩndĩ ĩyo no ũndeithie gũthũkia mataaro ma Ahithofeli.
and seist to Absolon, Y am thi seruaunt, kyng, suffre thou me to lyue; as Y was the seruaunt of thi fadir, so Y schal be thi seruaunt; thou schalt distrye the counsel of Achitofel.
35 Githĩ Zadoku na Abiatharu arĩa athĩnjĩri-Ngai matiigũkorwo kũu hamwe nawe? Meerage ũndũ o wothe ũngĩigua nyũmba-inĩ ya mũthamaki.
Forsothe thou hast with thee Sadoch and Abiathar, preestis; and `thou schalt schewe ech word, what euer word thou schalt here in the hows of the kyng, to Sadoch and Abiathar, preestis.
36 Ariũ ao eerĩ, Ahimaazu mũrũ wa Zadoku, na Jonathani mũrũ wa Abiatharu marĩ kũu hamwe nao. Matũmage kũrĩ niĩ na ũndũ o wothe ũngĩigua.”
Sotheli twei sones `of hem ben with hem, Achymaas, sone of Sadoch, and Jonathan, sone of Abiathar; and ye schulen sende bi hem to me ech word which ye schulen here.
37 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio Hushai mũrata wa Daudi agĩcooka, na agĩkinya Jerusalemu o rĩrĩa Abisalomu aatoonyaga itũũra rĩu inene.
Therfor whanne Chusi, freend of Dauid, cam in to the citee, also Absolon entryde in to Jerusalem.
