1 Hĩndĩ ĩrĩa ndookire kũrĩ inyuĩ, ngĩmũhunjĩria ũira wa hitho ya ũhoro wa Ngai, ariũ na aarĩ a Ithe witũ, ndiamwarĩirie na mĩario ya kanua kega kana ũũgĩ mũnene.
And I brethren when I came to you came not in gloriousnes of wordes or of wysdome shewynge vnto you the testimony of God.
2 Nĩgũkorwo nĩndatuĩte itua ndirĩ ũndũ ũngĩ ngwenda kũmenya, rĩrĩa rĩothe ndaarĩ na inyuĩ, o tiga ũhoro wa Jesũ Kristũ na kwambwo gwake mũtĩ-igũrũ.
Nether shewed I my selfe that I knewe eny thinge amonge you save Iesus Christ eve the same that was crucified.
3 Ndookire kũrĩ inyuĩ itarĩ na hinya, na ndĩ na guoya, o na ngĩinainaga mũno.
And I was amoge you in weaknes and in feare and in moche treblinge.
4 Ndũmĩrĩri yakwa na kũhunjia gwakwa itiarĩ na ciugo cia kũguucanĩrĩria na ũũgĩ, no nĩcionanagia hinya wa Roho,
And my wordes and my preachinge were not with entysynge wordes of manes wysdome: but in shewinge of ye sprete and of power
5 nĩguo wĩtĩkio wanyu ndũgakorwo ũtiirĩrĩirwo nĩ ũũgĩ wa andũ, o tiga hinya wa Ngai.
that youre fayth shuld not stonde in ye wysdome of me but in yt power of God.
6 No ningĩ ithuĩ-rĩ, tũrĩ gatagatĩ-inĩ ka andũ arĩa agima twaragia ũhoro wa ndũmĩrĩri ya ũũgĩ, no tũtiaragia ũhoro wa ũũgĩ wa mahinda maya, kana wa aathani a mahinda maya arĩa matarĩ kũrĩa merekeire. (aiōn g165)
That we speake of is wysdome amonge them that are perfecte: not the wysdome of this worlde nether of the rulars of this worlde (which go to nought) (aiōn g165)
7 No ithuĩ-rĩ, twaragia ũhoro wa ũũgĩ wa Ngai ũrĩa wa hitho, ũũgĩ ũrĩa watũire ũrĩ mũhithe, o ũrĩa Ngai aathĩrĩire o mbere ya kũũmba thĩ nĩ ũndũ wa riiri witũ. (aiōn g165)
but we speake ye wysdome of God which is in secrete and lieth hyd which God ordeyned before the worlde vnto oure glory: (aiōn g165)
8 Gũtirĩ o na ũmwe wa anene a mahinda maya wamenyire ũhoro ũcio, nĩgũkorwo mangĩaũmenyete-rĩ, matingĩaambire Mwathani wa riiri. (aiōn g165)
which wysdome none of ye rulars of the worlde knewe. For had they knowe it they wolde not have crucified the Lorde of glory. (aiōn g165)
9 Nĩgũkorwo no ta ũrĩa kwandĩkĩtwo atĩrĩ: “Maũndũ marĩa matarĩ monwo na maitho, na matarĩ maiguuo na matũ, o na matarĩ maatoonya ngoro ya mũndũ, nĩmo Ngai athondekeire andũ arĩa mamwendete”:
But as it is written: The eye hath not sene and the eare hath not hearde nether have entred into the herte of man ye thinges which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10 no Ngai nĩatũguũrĩirie maũndũ macio na ũndũ wa Roho wake. Roho nĩathuthuuragia maũndũ mothe, o na maũndũ ma Ngai marĩa marikĩru mũno.
But God hath opened them vnto vs by his sprete. For ye sprete searcheth all thinges ye the bottome of Goddes secretes.
11 Tondũ-rĩ, nũũ ũũĩ meciiria ma mũndũ, tiga o roho wa mũndũ ũrĩa ũrĩ thĩinĩ wake? O ta ũguo-rĩ, gũtirĩ mũndũ ũũĩ meciiria ma Ngai, o tiga Roho wa Ngai.
For what man knoweth the thinges of a ma: save ye sprete of a man which is with in him? Even so ye thinges of God knoweth no man but ye sprete of god.
12 Tũtiamũkĩrĩte roho wa thĩ ĩno, no tũheetwo Roho ũrĩa uumĩte kũrĩ Ngai, nĩguo tũmenyage iheo iria Ngai atũheete o ũguo tũhũ.
And we have not receaved the sprete of ye worlde: but the sprete which cometh of god for to knowe the thinges that are geve to vs of god
13 Maũndũ macio nĩmo twaragia, no tũtimaaragia na ciugo iria tũrutĩtwo na ũũgĩ wa mũndũ, no nĩ na ciugo iria tũrutagwo nĩ Roho, tũgataarĩria ũhoro wa ma wa kĩĩroho na ciugo cia kĩĩroho.
which thinges also we speake not in the conynge wordes of manes wysdome but with the conynge wordes of the holy goost makynge spretuall coparesons of spretuall thinges.
14 Mũndũ ũtarĩ na Roho ndetĩkagĩra maũndũ marĩa moimaga kũrĩ Roho wa Ngai, tondũ maũndũ macio nĩ ũrimũ kũrĩ we, na ndangĩmamenya, tondũ makũũrĩkanaga na njĩra ya kĩĩroho.
For ye naturall man perceaveth not the thinges of the sprete of god. For they are but folysshnes vnto him. Nether can he perceave them because he is spretually examined.
15 Mũndũ wa kĩĩroho nĩakũũranaga maũndũ mothe, nowe mwene gũtirĩ mũndũ ũngĩmũtuĩra:
But he that is spretuall discusseth all thinges: yet he him selfe is iudged of no ma.
16 “Nĩ ũndũ-rĩ, nũũ ũngĩmenya meciiria ma Mwathani, nĩguo akĩmũtaare?” No ithuĩ tũrĩ na meciiria ma Kristũ.
For who knoweth the mynde of the Lorde other who shall informe him? But we vnderstonde the mynde of Christ.
