And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
21 na Hadoramu, na Uzali, na Dikila,
Hadoram also, and Uzal, and Diklah,
22 na Ebali, na Abimaeli, na Sheba,
And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
23 na Ofiri, na Havila, na Jobabu. Acio othe maarĩ ariũ a Jokitani.
And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.

And the sons of Seir; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39 Ariũ a Lotani maarĩ: Hori na Homamu. Nake Timina aarĩ mwarĩ wa nyina na Lotani.
And the sons of Lotan; Hori, and Homam: and Timna was Lotan’s sister.
40 Ariũ a Shobali maarĩ: Alivani, na Manahathu, na Ebali, na Shefo, na Onamu. Ariũ a Zibeoni maarĩ: Aia na Ana.
The sons of Shobal; Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon; Aiah, and Anah.
41 Mũriũ wa Ana aarĩ: Dishoni. Ariũ a Dishoni maarĩ: Hemudani, na Eshibani, na Ithirani, na Kerani.
The sons of Anah; Dishon. And the sons of Dishon; Amram, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
42 Ariũ a Ezeri maarĩ: Bilihani, na Zaavani, na Akani. Ariũ a Dishani maarĩ: Uzu, na Arani.
The sons of Ezer; Bilhan, and Zavan, and Jakan. The sons of Dishan; Uz, and Aran.
43 Nao aya nĩo maarĩ athamaki arĩa maathamakaga Edomu mbere ya Isiraeli gũthamakĩrwo nĩ mũthamaki o na ũmwe: Nĩ Bela mũrũ wa Beori, narĩo itũũra rĩake inene rĩetagwo Dinihaba.
Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the children of Israel; Bela the son of Beor: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
44 Rĩrĩa Bela aakuire, Jobabu mũrũ wa Zera wa kuuma Bozira agĩtuĩka mũthamaki ithenya rĩake.
And when Bela was dead, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

And when Jobab was dead, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
46 Rĩrĩa Hushamu aakuire, Hadadi mũrũ wa Bedadi ũrĩa wahootire Midiani kũu bũrũri wa Moabi, agĩtuĩka mũthamaki ithenya rĩake. Itũũra rĩake inene rĩetagwo Avithu.
And when Husham was dead, Hadad the son of Bedad, which smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.

And when Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.
49 Rĩrĩa Shauli aakuire, Baali-Hanani mũrũ wa Akibori agĩtuĩka mũthamaki ithenya rĩake.
And when Shaul was dead, Baal–hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
50 Rĩrĩa Baali-Hanani aakuire, Hadadi agĩtuĩka mũthamaki ithenya rĩake. Itũũra rĩake inene rĩetagwo Pau, na mũtumia wake eetagwo Mehetabeli mwarĩ wa Matiredi, ũrĩa warĩ mwarĩ wa Me-Zahabu.
And when Baal–hanan was dead, Hadad reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife’s name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
51 Hadadi o nake agĩkua. Anene a Edomu maarĩ:
Hadad died also. And the dukes of Edom were; duke Timnah, duke Aliah, duke Jetheth,
52 Timina, na Aliva, na Jethethu, na Oholibama, na Ela, na Pinoni,
Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,
53 na Kenazu, na Temani, na Mibizaru,
Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,
54 na Magidieli, na Iramu. Acio nĩo maarĩ anene a Edomu.
Duke Magdiel, duke Iram. These are the dukes of Edom.
