And Benjamin begat Bela his first-born, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,

3 Ariũ a Bela maarĩ: Adari, na Gera, na Abihudi,
And there are sons to Bela: Addar, and Gera,
4 na Abishua, na Naamani, na Ahoa,
and Abihud, and Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah,
5 na Gera, na Shefufani, na Huramu.

and Naaman, and Ahiah, and Gera, he removed them, and begat Uzza and Ahihud.
8 Shaharaimu nĩaciarĩirwo ciana kũu Moabi thuutha wa gũte atumia ake Hushimu na Baara.
And Shaharaim begat in the field of Moab, after his sending them away; Hushim and Baara [are] his wives.
9 Mũtumia wake Hodeshu akĩmũciarĩra ciana ici: Jobabu, na Zibia, na Mesha, na Malikamu,
And he begetteth of Hodesh his wife, Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham,

and Jeuz, and Shachiah, and Mirmah. These [are] his sons, heads of fathers.
11 Mũtumia wake Hushimu akĩmũciarĩra Ahitubu na Elipaali.
And of Hushim he begat Ahitub and Elpaal.
12 Ariũ a Elipaali maarĩ: Eberi, na Mishamu, na Shemedi (ũrĩa wakire Ono, o na Lodi na matũũra marĩa maakũrigiicĩirie),
And sons of Elpaal: Eber, and Misheam, and Shamer, (he built Ono and Lod and its small towns),

20 na Elienai, na Zilethai, na Elieli,
and Elienai, and Zillethai, and Eliel,
21 na Adaia, na Beraia, na Shimirathu maarĩ ariũ a Shimei.
and Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath, sons of Shimei;
22 Ishipani, na Eberi, na Elieli,
And Ishpan, and Heber, and Eliel,
23 na Abidoni, na Zikiri, na Hanani,
and Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan,
24 na Hanania, na Elamu, na Anithothija,
and Hananiah, and Elam, and Antothijah,
25 na Ifĩdeia, na Penueli maarĩ ariũ a Shashaka.
and Iphedeiah, and Penuel, sons of Shashak;
26 Shamusherai, na Sheharia, na Athalia,
And Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah,
27 na Jaareshia, na Elija, na Zikiri maarĩ ariũ a Jerohamu.
and Jaareshiah, and Eliah, and Zichri, sons of Jeroham.
28 Aya othe maarĩ atongoria a nyũmba o na anene, ta ũrĩa maandĩkĩtwo maandĩko-inĩ ma njiarwa ciao, na maaikaraga Jerusalemu.
These [are] heads of fathers, by their generations, heads; these dwelt in Jerusalem.
29 Jeieli ithe wa Gibeoni aatũũraga Gibeoni. Mũtumia wake eetagwo Maaka,
And in Gibeon hath the father of Gibeon dwelt, and the name of his wife [is] Maachah;
30 na mũriũ wake wa irigithathi eetagwo Abidoni, akarũmĩrĩrwo nĩ Zuru, na Kishu, na Baali, na Neri, na Nadabu,
and his son, the first-born, [is] Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab,
31 na Gedori, na Ahio, na Zekeri,
and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher;
32 na Mikilothu ũrĩa warĩ ithe wa Shimea. O nao maaikaraga hakuhĩ na andũ ao kũu Jerusalemu.
and Mikloth begat Shimeah. And they also over-against their brethren dwelt in Jerusalem with their brethren.
33 Neri aarĩ ithe wa Kishu, nake Kishu aarĩ ithe wa Saũlũ. Saũlũ aarĩ ithe wa Jonathani
And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi-Shua, and Abinadab, and Esh-Baal.
34 Mũriũ wa Jonathani: eetagwo Meribu-Baali, na nĩwe warĩ ithe wa Mika.
And a son of Jonathan [is] Merib-Baal, and Merib-Baal begat Micah;
35 Ariũ a Mika maarĩ: Pithoni, na Meleku, na Tarea, na Ahazu.
and sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz:
36 Ahazu aarĩ ithe wa Jehoada, nake Jehoada aarĩ ithe wa Alemethu, na Azamavethu, na Zimuri; nake Zimuri aarĩ ithe wa Moza.
and Ahaz begat Jehoadah, and Jehoadah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza,
37 Moza aarĩ ithe wa Binea; nake Rafa aarĩ mũriũ wa Binea, nake Eleasa aarĩ mũriũ wa Rafa, nake Azeli aarĩ mũriũ wa Eleasa.
and Moza begat Binea, Raphah [is] his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
38 Azeli aarĩ na ariũ atandatũ, na maya nĩmo marĩĩtwa mao: Azirikamu, na Bokeru, na Ishumaeli, na Shearia, na Obadia, na Hanani. Acio nĩo maarĩ ariũ a Azeli.
And to Azel [are] six sons, and these [are] their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these [are] sons of Azel.
39 Ariũ a Esheku, mũrũ wa nyina, maarĩ: Ulamu irigithathi rĩake, na Jeushu wa keerĩ, na Elifeleti wa gatatũ.
And sons of Eshek his brother: Ulam his first-born, Jehush the second, and Eliphelet the third.

And the sons of Ulam are men mighty in valour, treading bow, and multiplying sons and son's sons, a hundred and fifty. All these [are] of the sons of Benjamin.
