1 Maũndũ 15
1 Daudi aarĩkia gwaka nyũmba ciake mwene kũu Itũũra Inene rĩa Daudi, nĩahaarĩirie handũ ha kũiga ithandũkũ rĩa Ngai, na akĩrĩambĩra hema.
And he made for himself houses in [the] city of David and he prepared a place for [the] ark of God and he pitched for it a tent.
2 Ningĩ Daudi akiuga atĩrĩ, “Gũtirĩ mũndũ ũngĩ wagĩrĩirwo nĩ gũkuua ithandũkũ rĩa Ngai tiga o Alawii, tondũ nĩo Jehova aathuurire makuuage ithandũkũ rĩu rĩa Jehova na mamũtungatagĩre nginya tene.”
Then he said David not to carry [the] ark of God that except the Levites for them - he had chosen Yahweh to carry [the] ark of Yahweh and to serve him until perpetuity.
3 Daudi nĩacookanĩrĩirie andũ othe a Isiraeli hamwe kũu Jerusalemu nĩguo marehe ithandũkũ rĩa Jehova handũ harĩa aarĩthondekeire.
And he assembled David all Israel to Jerusalem to bring up [the] ark of Yahweh to place its which he had prepared for it.
4 Nĩacookanĩrĩirie njiaro cia Harũni na Alawii ta ũũ:
And he gathered David [the] descendants of Aaron and the Levites.

Of [the] descendants of Merari Asaiah the leader and relatives his two hundred and twenty.
7 kuuma kũrĩ njiaro cia Gerishoni, Joeli nĩwe warĩ mũtongoria, na andũ a nyũmba yao 130;
Of [the] descendants of Gershom Joel the leader and relatives his one hundred and thirty.
8 kuuma kũrĩ njiaro cia Elizafani, Shemaia nĩwe warĩ mũtongoria, na andũ a nyũmba yao 200;
Of [the] descendants of Elizaphan Shemaiah the leader and relatives his two hundred.
9 kuuma kũrĩ njiaro cia Hebironi, Elieli nĩwe warĩ mũtongoria, na andũ a nyũmba yao 80;
Of [the] descendants of Hebron Eliel the leader and relatives his eighty.
10 kuuma kũrĩ njiaro cia Uzieli, Aminadabu nĩwe warĩ mũtongoria, na andũ a nyũmba yao 112.
Of [the] descendants of Uzziel Amminadab the leader and relatives his one hundred and two [plus] ten.
11 Ningĩ Daudi agĩĩta Zadoku na Abiatharu arĩa athĩnjĩri-Ngai, na Urieli, na Asaia, na Joeli, na Shemaia, na Elieli, na Aminadabu arĩa Alawii.
And he summoned David Zadok and Abiathar the priests and the Levites Uriel Asaiah and Joel Shemaiah and Eliel and Amminadab.
12 Akĩmeera atĩrĩ, “Nĩ inyuĩ anene a nyũmba cia Alawii; inyuĩ ene na Alawii arĩa angĩ no nginya mwĩtherie na mwambatie ithandũkũ rĩa Jehova Ngai wa Isiraeli nginya handũ harĩa ndĩrĩthondekeire.
And he said to them you [are] [the] chiefs of the fathers of the Levites consecrate yourselves you and relatives your and you will bring up [the] ark of Yahweh [the] God of Israel to [where] I have prepared for it.
13 Nĩ ũndũ inyuĩ, Alawii, mũtiarĩambatirie ihinda rĩa mbere, nĩkĩo Jehova Ngai witũ aatũũkĩrĩire na marakara. Tũtiigana gũtuĩria ũhoro wa ũrĩa tũngĩekire kũrĩ we, kũringana na ũrĩa gwatuĩtwo.”
For to what? at the first [time] not you he burst out Yahweh God our against us for not we sought him according to the ordinance.
14 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio, athĩnjĩri-Ngai na Alawii magĩĩtheria nĩgeetha maambatie ithandũkũ rĩa Jehova, Ngai wa Isiraeli.
And they consecrated themselves the priests and the Levites to bring up [the] ark of Yahweh [the] God of Israel.
15 Nao Alawii magĩkuua ithandũkũ rĩa Ngai na mĩtĩ mĩraaya mamĩigĩrĩire ciande, o ta ũrĩa Musa aathanĩte kũringana na kiugo kĩa Jehova.
And they carried [the] descendants of the Levites [the] ark of God just as he had commanded Moses according to [the] word of Yahweh on shoulders their with poles on them.
16 Daudi akĩĩra atongoria a Alawii mathuure ariũ a ithe wao matuĩke aini, nao maine nyĩmbo cia gĩkeno makĩhũũraga inanda cia kĩnũbi, na cia mũgeeto, na thaani iria ihũũrithanagio ikagamba.
And he said David to [the] leaders of the Levites to appoint relatives their the singers with instruments of song lyres and harps and cymbals sounding aloud to raise a sound of joy.
17 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio Alawii magĩthuura Hemani mũrũ wa Joeli; kuuma harĩ ariũ a ithe, na magĩthuura Asafu mũrũ wa Berekia; na kuuma harĩ ariũ a ithe Amerari magĩthuura Ethani mũrũ wa Kushaia;
And they appointed the Levites Heman [the] son of Joel and of relatives his Asaph [the] son of Berekiah. And of [the] descendants of Merari relatives their Ethan [the] son of Kushaiah.
18 na ningĩ hamwe nao magĩthuura ariũ a ithe matuĩke anini ao wathani-inĩ. nao nĩ: Zekaria, na Jaazieli, na Shemiramothu, na Jehieli, na Uni, na Eliabu, na Benaia, na Maaseia, na Matithia, na Elifelehu, na Mikineia, na Obedi-Edomu, na Jeieli, arĩa arangĩri ihingo.
And with them relatives their the second in rank Zechariah Ben and Jaaziel and Shemiramoth and Jehiel - and Unni Eliab and Benaiah and Maaseiah and Mattithiah and Eliphelehu and Mikneiah and Obed-Edom and Jeiel the gatekeepers.

And Zechariah and Aziel and Shemiramoth and Jehiel and Unni and Eliab and Maaseiah and Benaiah with lyres on alamoth.
21 Nake Matithia, na Elifelehu, na Mikineia, na Obedi-Edomu, na Jeieli, na Azazia maarĩ a kũhũũra inanda cia mũgeeto, matongoretie kũringana na Sheminithu (ũguo nĩ ta kuuga mũgambo ũkũruruma).
And Mattithiah and Eliphelehu and Mikneiah and Obed-Edom and Jeiel and Azaziah with harps on the sheminith to act as overseers.

And Berekiah and Elkanah [were] gatekeepers for the ark.
24 Athĩnjĩri-Ngai, nĩo Shebania, na Joshafatu, na Nethaneli, na Amasai, na Zekaria, na Benaia, na Eliezeri maarĩ a kũhuha tũrumbeta mbere ya ithandũkũ rĩa Ngai. Obedi-Edomu na Jehia o nao maarĩ arangĩri a mĩrango nĩ ũndũ wa ithandũkũ rĩu.
And Shebaniah and Joshaphat and Nethanel and Amasai and Zechariah and Benaiah and Eliezer the priests ([were] blowing a trumpet *Q(k)*) on trumpets before [the] ark of God and Obed-Edom and Jehiah [were] gatekeepers for the ark.
25 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio Daudi na athuuri a Isiraeli, na anene a ikundi cia ngiri, magĩthiĩ kwambatia ithandũkũ rĩa kĩrĩkanĩro kĩa Jehova kuuma nyũmba ya Obedi-Edomu makenete.
And it was David and [the] elders of Israel and [the] leaders of the thousands [were] the [ones who] went to bring up [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh from [the] house of Obed-Edom with joy.
26 Tondũ Ngai nĩateithĩtie Alawii arĩa maakuuaga ithandũkũ rĩa kĩrĩkanĩro kĩa Jehova-rĩ, ndegwa mũgwanja na ndũrũme mũgwanja nĩciarutirwo igongona.
And it was because helped God the Levites [the] bearers of [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh and they sacrificed seven young bulls and seven rams.

And David [was] wrapped - in a robe of fine linen and all the Levites who were carrying the ark and the singers and Kenaniah the leader the lifting up the singers and [was] on David an ephod of linen.
28 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio andũ othe a Isiraeli makĩambatia ithandũkũ rĩa kĩrĩkanĩro kĩa Jehova makĩanagĩrĩra, makĩhuhaga macoro na tũrumbeta, na makĩhũũrithanagia thaani iria ihũũrithanagio na ikagamba, na makĩhũũraga inanda cia kĩnũbi na cia mũgeeto.
And all Israel [was] bringing up [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh with a shout and with [the] sound of a ram's horn and with trumpets and with cymbals sounding aloud with lyres and harps.
29 Hĩndĩ ĩrĩa ithandũkũ rĩa kĩrĩkanĩro kĩa Jehova rĩatoonyaga Itũũra Inene rĩa Daudi-rĩ, Mikali mwarĩ wa Saũlũ nĩacũthĩrĩirie arĩ ndirica-inĩ. Na rĩrĩa onire Mũthamaki Daudi akĩina akĩrũgarũgaga, akĩmũnyarara ngoro-inĩ yake.
And it was [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh [was] coming to [the] city of David and Michal [the] daughter of Saul she looked down - through the window and she saw the king David dancing and making merry and she despised him in heart her.
