Offenbarung 21
1 Und ich sah einen neuen Himmel und eine neue Erde; denn der erste Himmel und die erste Erde waren vergangen und das Meer ist nicht mehr.
And Y sai newe heuene and newe erthe; for the firste heuene and the firste erthe wenten awei, and the see is not now.
2 Und ich, Johannes, sah die heilige Stadt, das neue Jerusalem, von Gott aus dem Himmel herabsteigen, zubereitet wie eine Braut, für ihren Mann geschmückt.
And Y Joon say the hooli citee Jerusalem, newe, comynge doun fro heuene, maad redi of God, as a wijf ourned to hir hosebonde.
3 Und ich hörte eine große Stimme aus dem Himmel sagen: Siehe, die Hütte Gottes bei den Menschen! Und Er wird bei ihnen wohnen, und sie werden Sein Volk sein, und Er Selbst wird bei ihnen sein, ihr Gott.
And Y herde a greet vois fro the trone, seiynge, Lo! the tabernacle of God is with men, and he schal dwelle with hem; and thei schulen be his puple, and he God with hem schal be her God.
4 Und Gott wird abwischen jede Träne von ihren Augen, und der Tod wird nicht mehr sein, kein Trauern, kein Geschrei, keine Mühsal wird mehr sein; denn das Erste ist vergangen.
And God schal wipe awei ech teer fro the iyen of hem; and deth schal no more be, nether mornyng, nether criyng, nether sorewe schal be ouer; whiche `firste thingis wenten awei.
5 Und es sprach, Der auf dem Throne saß: Siehe, Ich mache alles neu. Und Er spricht zu mir: Schreibe, denn diese Worte sind wahrhaftig und getreu.
And he seide, that sat in the trone, Lo! Y make alle thingis newe. And he seide to me, Write thou, for these wordis ben moost feithful and trewe.
6 Und Er sprach zu mir: Es ist geschehen. Ich bin das Alpha und das Omega, der Anfang und das Ende. Ich werde dem Dürstenden geben aus dem Quell des Wassers des Lebens umsonst.
And he seide to me, It is don; I am alpha and oo, the bigynnyng and ende. Y schal yyue freli of the welle of quic watir to hym that thirsteth.
7 Wer überwindet, der soll alles ererben, und Ich werde ihm Gott sein, und er soll Mir Sohn sein.
He that schal ouercome, schal welde these things; and Y schal be God to hym, and he schal be sone to me.
9 Und es kam zu mir einer der sieben Engel, welche die sieben Schalen voll der sieben letzten Plagen hatten, und redete mit mir und sagte: Komm, ich will die zeigen die Braut, des Lammes Weib.
And oon cam of the seuene aungels, hauynge violis fulle of `seuene the laste veniauncis. And he spak with me, and seide, Come thou, and Y schal schewe to thee the spousesse, the wijf of the lomb.
10 Und er entrückte mich im Geist auf einen großen und hohen Berg und zeigte mir die große Stadt, das heilige Jerusalem, aus dem Himmel herabsteigen von Gott.
And he took me vp in spirit in to a greet hille and hiy; and he schewide to me the hooli citee Jerusalem, comynge doun fro heuene of God,
11 Sie hatte die Herrlichkeit Gottes, und Ihr Licht glich dem kostbarsten Steine, wie dem Stein Jaspis, der wie Kristall glänzt.
hauynge the clerete of God; and the liyt of it lijk a preciouse stoon, as the stoon iaspis, as cristal.
12 Und sie hatte eine große und hohe Mauer und hatte zwölf Tore und über den Toren zwölf Engel, und Namen darauf geschrieben, welche sind die der zwölf Stämme der Söhne Israels,
And it hadde a walle greet and hiy, hauynge twelue yatis, and in the yatis of it twelue aungels, and names writun in, that ben the names of twelue lynagis of the sones of Israel; fro the east thre yatis,
13 Von Aufgang drei Tore, von Mitternacht drei Tore, von Mittag drei Tore, von Niedergang drei Tore.
and fro the north thre yatis, and fro the south thre yatis, and fro the west thre yatis.
14 Und die Mauer der Stadt hatte zwölf Gründe und in diesen die Namen der zwölf Apostel des Lammes.
And the wal of the citee hadde twelue foundementis, and in hem the twelue names of twelue apostlis, and of the lomb.
15 Und der mit mir redete, hatte ein goldenes Rohr, damit er die Stadt und ihre Tore und ihre Mauer messe.
And he that spak with me, hadde a goldun mesure of a rehed, that he schulde mete the citee, and the yatis of it, and the wal.
16 Und die Stadt liegt viereckig; und ihre Länge ist so viel als auch die Breite. Und er maß die Stadt mit dem Rohr zu zwölftausend Stadien. Ihre Länge und Breite und Höhe sind gleich.
And the citee was set in square; and the lengthe of it is so miche, `as miche as is the breede. And he mat the citee with the rehed, bi furlongis twelue thousyndis. And the heiythe, and the lengthe and breede of it, ben euene.
17 Und er maß ihre Mauer hundertvierundvierzig Ellen, das Maß eines Menschen, welches ist das eines Engels.
And he mat the wallis of it, of an hundrid and `foure and fourti cubitis, bi mesure of man, that is, of an aungel.
18 Und der Aufbau der Mauer war aus Jaspis und die Stadt reines Gold, ähnlich dem reinen Glas.
And the bildyng of the wal therof was of the stoon iaspis. And the citee it silf was clene gold, lijk clene glas.
19 Und die Gründe der Mauer der Stadt waren mit allerlei kostbarem Gestein geschmückt; der erste Grund war ein Jaspis, der zweite ein Saphir, der dritte ein Chalzedon, der vierte ein Smaragd,
And the foundementis of the wal of the citee weren ourned with al preciouse stoon. The firste foundement, iaspis; the secounde, safiris; the thridde, calcedonyus; the fourthe, smaragdus;
20 Der fünfte ein Sardonyx, der sechste ein Sarder, der siebente ein Chrysolith, der achte ein Beryll, der neunte ein Topas, der zehnte ein Chrysopras, der elfte ein Hyazinth, der zwölfte ein Amethyst;
the fyuethe, sardony; the sixte, sardius; the seuenthe, crisolitus; the eiytthe, berillus; the nynthe, topacius; the tenthe, crisopassus; the eleuenthe, iacinctus; the tweluethe, ametistus.
21 Und die zwölf Tore zwölf Perlen. Ein jedes der Tore war aus einer Perle, und die Straße der Stadt reines Gold, wie durchscheinendes Glas.
And twelue yatis ben twelue margaritis, bi ech; `and ech yate was of ech margarete. And the stretis of the citee weren clene gold, as of glas ful schynynge.
22 Und einen Tempel sah ich nicht in ihr; denn der Herr, Gott der Allmächtige, ist ihr Tempel, und das Lamm.
And Y say no temple in it, for the Lord God almyyti and the lomb, is temple of it.
23 Und die Stadt bedarf nicht der Sonne, noch des Mondes, daß sie in ihr scheinen; denn die Herrlichkeit Gottes hat sie erleuchtet, und ihre Leuchte ist das Lamm.
And the citee hath no nede of sunne, nethir moone, that thei schyne in it; for the clerete of God schal liytne it; and the lomb is the lanterne of it.
24 Und die Völkerschaften derer, die gerettet werden, werden in ihrem Lichte wandeln und die Könige der Erde ihre Herrlichkeit und Ehre in sie bringen.
And folkis schulen walke in liyt of it; and the kyngis of the erthe schulen brynge her glorie and onour in to it.
25 Und ihre Tore werden nicht verschlossen werden des Tags denn Nacht wird da nicht sein.
And the yatis of it schulen not be closid bi dai; and niyt schal not be there.
26 Und sie werden die Herrlichkeit und die Ehre der Völkerschaften in sie bringen.
And thei schulen brynge the glorie and onour of folkis in to it.
27 Und nicht wird in sie eingehen etwas Gemeines, und das da Greuel tut und Lüge; sondern die geschrieben sind im Lebensbuch des Lammes.
Nether ony man defoulid, and doynge abhominacioun and leesyng, schal entre in to it; but thei that ben writun in the book of lijf and of the lomb.
