Offenbarung 12
1 Und ein großes Zeichen erschien am Himmel: ein Weib, von der Sonne umkleidet, und der Mond unter ihren Füßen, und auf ihrem Haupte eine Krone von zwölf Sternen.
And there appeared a great wonder in heauen: A woman clothed with the sunne, and the moone was vnder her feete, and vpon her head a crowne of twelue starres.
2 Und sie war schwanger, schrie in Wehen und quälte sich, zu gebären.
And she was with childe, and cried traueiling in birth, and was pained readie to be deliuered.
3 Und ein anderes Zeichen ward im Himmel gesehen, und siehe, ein großer, feuerroter Drache, der hatte sieben Häupter und zehn Hörner und auf seinen Häuptern sieben Diademe.
And there appeared another wonder in heaue: for beholde, a great red dragon hauing seuen heads, and ten hornes, and seuen crownes vpon his heads:
4 Und sein Schwanz zog den dritten Teil der Sterne des Himmels nach sich und warf sie auf die Erde. Und der Drache stand vor dem Weib, da sie gebären wollte, um ihr Kind, wenn sie geboren hätte, aufzufressen.
And his taile drew the thirde part of the starres of heauen, and cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman, which was ready to be deliuered, to deuoure her childe, when shee had brought it foorth.
5 Und sie gebar ein Männliches, einen Sohn, der alle die Völkerschaften mit eisernem Stabe weiden sollte; und ihr Kind ward entrückt zu Gott und Seinem Thron.
So shee brought foorth a man childe, which should rule all nations with a rod of yron: and that her childe was taken vp vnto God and to his throne.
6 Und das Weib floh in die Wüste, wo sie einen Ort hat, der von Gott bereitet worden, auf daß man sie allda tausendzweihundertsechzig Tage ernährete.
And the woman fled into wildernes where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feede her there a thousande, two hundreth and three score dayes.
7 Und es ward Krieg in dem Himmel; Michael und seine Engel führten Krieg mit dem Drachen, und der Drache führte Krieg und seine Engel.
And there was a battell in heauen, Michael and his Angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon fought and his angels.
8 Und sie vermochten es nicht, und ward ihre Stätte im Himmel nicht mehr gefunden.
But they preuailed not, neither was their place found any more in heauen.
9 Und der große Drache, die alte Schlange, die da heißt Teufel und Satan, der den ganzen Erdkreis irreführte, wurde auf die Erde geworfen, und mit ihm wurden seine Engel ausgeworfen.
And the great dragon, that olde serpent, called the deuil and Satan, was cast out, which deceiueth all the world: he was euen cast into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 Und ich hörte eine große Stimme im Himmel, die sagte: Nun ist das Heil und die Kraft und das Reich unseres Gottes und die Gewalt Seines Christus geworden. Denn hinabgeworfen ist der Verkläger unserer Brüder, der Tag und Nacht sie vor unserem Gott verklagte.
Then I heard a loude voyce in heauen, saying, Now is saluation, and strength, and the kingdome of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast downe, which accused them before our God day and night.
11 Und sie haben ihn überwunden durch das Blut des Lammes, und durch das Wort ihres Zeugnisses, und ihre Seele nicht geliebt bis in den Tod.
But they ouercame him by that blood of that Lambe, and by that worde of their testimonie, and they loued not their liues vnto the death.
12 Darum seid fröhlich, ihr Himmel und die darin wohnen. Wehe den Bewohnern der Erde und des Meeres, daß zu euch hinabstieg der Teufel, und hat einen großen Grimm, da er weiß, daß er wenig Zeit hat.
Therefore reioyce, ye heauens, and ye that dwell in them. Wo to the inhabitants of the earth, and of the sea: for the deuill is come downe vnto you, which hath great wrath, knowing that he hath but a short time.
13 Und da der Drache sah, daß er auf die Erde geworfen war, verfolgte er das Weib, das den Sohn geboren hatte.
And when the dragon sawe that hee was cast vnto the earth, he persecuted the woman which had brought forth the man childe.
14 Und dem Weibe wurden zwei Flügel des großen Adlers gegeben, auf daß sie in die Wüste flöge an ihren Ort, um daselbst ernährt zu werden vor dem Angesicht der Schlange eine Zeit und Zeiten und eine halbe Zeit.
But to the woman were giuen two wings of a great eagle, that she might flie into the wildernes, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and halfe a time, from the presence of the serpent.
15 Und die Schlange warf aus hinter dem Weibe her Wasser aus ihrem Munde, wie einen Strom, um sie im Strome fortzuschwemmen.
And the serpent cast out of his mouth water after the woman, like a flood, that he might cause her to be caried away of the flood.
16 Und die Erde half dem Weibe; und die Erde tat ihren Mund auf und verschlang den Strom, den der Drache aus seinem Munde auswarf.
But the earth holpe the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swalowed vp the flood, which the dragon had cast out of his mouth.
17 Und der Drache ward zornig über das Weib, und ging hin, Krieg zu führen mit den übrigen von ihrem Samen, welche die Gebote Gottes halten und das Zeugnis von Jesus Christus haben.
Then the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went and made warre with the remnant of her seede, which keepe the comaundements of God, and haue the testimonie of Iesus Christ.
