Psalm 93

1 Jehovah ist König, mit Hoheit ist Er angetan, Jehovah hat Sich angetan mit Stärke, Er hat Sich umgürtet; gefestigt ist die Welt, sie wankt nicht.

Jehovah reigns! He is clothed with majesty. Jehovah is clothed with strength; he has girded himself with it. The world also is established that it cannot be moved.

2 Gefestigt ist Dein Thron hinfort, von Ewigkeit bist Du.

Thy throne is established of old. Thou are from everlasting.

3 Flüsse erheben, Jehovah, Flüsse erheben ihre Stimme, Flüsse erheben ihren Wogenschlag.

The floods have lifted up, O Jehovah, the floods have lifted up their voice, the floods lift up their waves.

4 Herrlicher als die Stimmen vieler herrlichen Wasser, als des Meeres Brandungen ist Jehovah in der Höhe.

Above the voices of many waters, the mighty breakers of the sea, Jehovah on high is mighty.

5 Deine Zeugnisse sind sehr wahrhaftig, Deinem Hause ziemt Heiligkeit, o Jehovah, für der Tage Länge.

Thy testimonies are very sure. Holiness befits thy house, O Jehovah, for evermore.
