Psalm 87

1 Seine Grundfeste ist auf den Bergen der Heiligkeit.

`The salm of the song of the sones of Chore. The foundementis therof ben in hooli hillis;

2 Jehovah liebt die Tore Zions über alle Wohnungen Jakobs.

the Lord loueth the yatis of Sion, more than alle the tabernaclis of Jacob.

3 Herrliches soll in dir geredet werden, Stadt Gottes. (Selah)

Thou citee of God, with outen ende; gloriouse thingis ben seide of thee.

4 Ich werde Rahabs gedenken und Babels unter denen, die mich erkennen; siehe, das Philisterland und Zor samt Kusch; dieser ist dort geboren!

I schal be myndeful of Raab, and Babiloyne; knowynge me. Lo! aliens, and Tyre, and the puple of Ethiopiens; thei weren there.

5 Und von Zion wird man sagen: Der Mann und der Mann ist geboren in ihr, und Er, der Allerhöchste, wird sie festigen.

Whether a man schal seie to Sion, And a man is born ther ynne; and that man altherhiyeste foundide it?

6 Jehovah wird erzählen beim Aufschreiben der Völker: Dieser ist geboren allda. (Selah)

The Lord schal telle in the scripturis of puplis; and of these princis, that weren ther ynne.

7 Und die Sänger wie die im Reigen: Alle meine Brunnquellen sind in Dir.

As the dwellyng `of alle that ben glad; is in thee.
