Psalm 67

1 Dem Sangmeister. Zum Saitenspiel. Ein Psalm, ein Lied. Gott, sei uns gnädig und segne uns, Er lasse Sein Angesicht leuchten bei uns. (Selah)

God, be merciful to us and bless us; be kind to us [IDM],

2 Daß man erkenne Deinen Weg auf Erden, unter allen Völkerschaften Dein Heil.

in order that [everyone in] the world may know what you want them to do, and [the people of] all nations may know that you [have the power to] save [them].

3 Dich bekennen, Gott, die Völker, Dich bekennen alle Völker.

God, I desire that [all] people-groups [will] praise you; I want them all to praise you!

4 Die Volksstämme sind fröhlich und lobpreisen, daß die Völker Du richtest in Geradheit, und die Volksstämme führest auf Erden. (Selah)

I desire that [the people of all] nations will be glad and sing joyfully, because you judge the people-groups equally/justly, and you guide [all] nations in the world.

5 Dich bekennen, Gott, die Völker, alle Völker bekennen Dich.

God, I desire that the people-groups [will] praise you; I want them all to praise you!

6 Die Erde gibt ihr Gewächs. Es segnet uns Gott, unser Gott.

Good crops have grown on our land; God, our God, has blessed us.

7 Gott segne uns, und alle Enden der Erde sollen Ihn fürchten, Dein Heil.

[And because] God has blessed us, I desire that all [people] everywhere [MTY] on the earth will revere him.
