Psalm 22
1 Dem Sangmeister auf die Hindin der Morgenröte. Ein Psalm Davids. Mein Gott, mein Gott, warum hast Du mich verlassen? Bist fern von meinem Heil, von den Worten meiner Klage?
For the Leader; upon Aijeleth ha-Shahar. A Psalm of David. My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me, and art far from my help at the words of my cry?
2 Mein Gott, ich rufe am Tag und Du antwortest nicht, und des Nachts, und bin nicht stille.
O my God, I call by day, but Thou answerest not; and at night, and there is no surcease for me.
3 Du aber bist der Heilige, Du wohnst im Lobe Israels.
Yet Thou art holy, O Thou that art enthroned upon the praises of Israel.
4 Auf Dich vertrauten unsere Väter, sie vertrauten, und Du befreitest sie.
In Thee did our fathers trust; they trusted, and Thou didst deliver them.
5 Sie schrien zu Dir, und sie entrannen, auf Dich vertrauten sie und wurden nicht beschämt.
Unto Thee they cried, and escaped; in Thee did they trust, and were not ashamed.
6 Ich aber bin ein Wurm und kein Mann, die Schmach der Menschen, und vom Volke verachtet.
But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
7 Alle, die mich sehen, verlachen mich, sperren die Lippen auf, schütteln das Haupt;
All they that see me laugh me to scorn; they shoot out the lip, they shake the head:
8 Er übergebe sich dem Jehovah, Der befreie ihn; Er errette ihn, denn Er hat Lust an ihm.
'Let him commit himself unto the LORD! let Him rescue him; let Him deliver him, seeing He delighteth in him.'
9 Denn Du ließest aus dem Mutterleibe mich hervorbrechen. Du warst meine Zuversicht an meiner Mutter Brüsten.
For Thou art He that took me out of the womb; Thou madest me trust when I was upon my mother's breasts.
10 Auf Dich bin ich geworfen aus dem Mutterschoß; von meiner Mutter Leibe an bist Du mein Gott.
Upon Thee I have been cast from my birth; Thou art my God from my mother's womb.
11 Entferne Dich nicht von mir; denn Drangsal ist nah, denn keiner ist da zum Beistand.
Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.
12 Mich haben viele Farren umgeben, Baschans Gewaltige haben mich umringt.
Many bulls have encompassed me; strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.
13 Sie sperrten ihren Mund auf wider mich; ein zerfleischender und brüllender Löwe.
They open wide their mouth against me, as a ravening and a roaring lion.
14 Wie Wasser bin ich ausgeschüttet, alle meine Gebeine sind zertrennt. Wie Wachs ist mein Herz, es zerschmolz in meiner Eingeweide Mitte.
I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint; my heart is become like wax; it is melted in mine inmost parts.
15 Wie ein Scherben ist meine Kraft vertrocknet, und meine Zunge klebt mir an dem Gaumen; und in den Staub des Todes hast Du mich hinabgelegt.
My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my throat; and Thou layest me in the dust of death.
16 Denn Hunde haben mich umgeben, der Bösen Rotte mich umringt; sie haben Hände und Füße mir durchbohrt,
For dogs have encompassed me; a company of evil-doers have inclosed me; like a lion, they are at my hands and my feet.
17 Ich zähle all meine Gebeine; sie blicken, sie sehen auf mich.
I may count all my bones; they look and gloat over me.
18 Sie teilen meine Kleider unter sich, und werfen über mein Gewande das Los.
They part my garments among them, and for my vesture do they cast lots.
19 Aber Du, Jehovah, sei nicht fern! Du, meine Stärke, stehe mir schleunig bei!
But Thou, O LORD, be not far off; O Thou my strength, hasten to help me.
20 Errette vom Schwerte meine Seele, und aus der Gewalt des Hundes meine einzige.
Deliver my soul from the sword; mine only one from the power of the dog.
21 Rette mich von des Löwen Rachen und von des Einhorns Hörnern antworte mir!
Save me from the lion's mouth; yea, from the horns of the wild-oxen do Thou answer me.
22 Ich will erzählen Deinen Namen meinen Brüdern, inmitten der Versammlung will ich Dich loben.
I will declare Thy name unto my brethren; in the midst of the congregation will I praise Thee.
23 Ihr, die ihr Jehovah fürchtet, lobet Ihn; aller Same Jakobs, verherrlicht ihn; es bange vor Ihm aller Same Israels.
'Ye that fear the LORD, praise Him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify Him; and stand in awe of Him, all ye the seed of Israel.
24 Denn nicht verachtet, noch verabscheut Er das Elend des Bedrückten, und verbirgt Sein Angesicht nicht vor ihm. Wenn er zu Ihm aufschreit, hört Er ihn.
For He hath not despised nor abhorred the lowliness of the poor; neither hath He hid His face from him; but when he cried unto Him, He heard.'
25 Von Dir ist mein Lob in großer Versammlung; meine Gelübde zahle ich vor denen, die Ihn fürchten.
From Thee cometh my praise in the great congregation; I will pay my vows before them that fear Him.
26 Die Elenden sollen essen und satt werden. Jehovah sollen loben, die nach Ihm fragen. Es lebe euer Herz immerfort.
Let the humble eat and be satisfied; let them praise the LORD that seek after Him; may your heart be quickened for ever!
27 Gedenken sollen und zu Jehovah zurückkehren alle Enden der Erde und anbeten vor Dir alle Familien der Völkerschaften.
All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn unto the LORD; and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before Thee.
28 Denn das Königtum ist Jehovahs, und Er herrscht über die Völkerschaften.
For the kingdom is the LORD'S; and He is the ruler over the nations.
29 Essen und Ihn anbeten sollen alle Feisten der Erde, vor Ihm sollen sich beugen alle, die in den Staub hinabfahren, und der, dessen Seele Er nicht am Leben erhält.
All the fat ones of the earth shall eat and worship; all they that go down to the dust shall kneel before Him, even he that cannot keep his soul alive.
30 Ein Same, der Ihm dient, wird dem Herrn gezählt in das Geschlecht.
A seed shall serve him; it shall be told of the Lord unto the next generation.
31 Sie werden kommen und ansagen Seine Gerechtigkeit, einem Volke, das geboren wird, daß Er es getan.
They shall come and shall declare His righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that He hath done it.
