Psalm 145
1 Erhöhen will ich Dich, mein Gott, Du König, und will segnen Deinen Namen in Ewigkeit und immerfort.
I will extol thee, my God, O King, and I will bless thy name forever and ever.
2 Jeden Tag will ich Dich segnen und loben Deinen Namen in Ewigkeit und immerfort.
Every day I will bless thee, and I will praise thy name forever and ever.
3 Groß ist Jehovah und sehr zu loben, und unerforschlich Seine Größe.
Great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.
4 Geschlecht preiset dem Geschlechte Deine Taten, und sagen an Deine Macht.
One generation shall laud thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.
5 Die Ehre der Herrlichkeit Deiner Majestät und die Worte Deiner Wunder will ich überdenken.
I will meditate on the glorious majesty of thine honor, and of thy wondrous works.
6 Und von der Stärke Deiner furchtbaren Taten sprechen sie, und von Deiner Größe will ich erzählen.
And men shall speak of the might of thy fearful acts, and I will declare thy greatness.
7 Sie lassen hervorquellen das Andenken Deiner vielen Güte, und lobpreisen Deine Gerechtigkeit.
They shall utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.
8 Gnädig und erbarmungsvoll ist Jehovah, langmütig und von großer Barmherzigkeit.
Jehovah is gracious, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great loving kindness.
9 Jehovah ist allen gut, und Seine Erbarmungen sind über all Seinen Werken.
Jehovah is good to all, and his tender mercies are over all his works.
10 Es sollen bekennen Dich, Jehovah, alle Deine Werke, und Deine Heiligen Dich segnen;
All thy works shall give thanks to thee, O Jehovah, and thy sanctified shall bless thee.
11 Sie sollen sprechen von Deines Reiches Herrlichkeit; und reden von Deiner Macht,
They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power,
12 Um kund zu tun den Söhnen des Menschen Deine Macht, und die Herrlichkeit der Ehre Seines Reiches.
to make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glory of the majesty of his kingdom.
13 Dein Reich ist ein Reich aller Ewigkeiten, und Deine Herrschaft ist auf jedes Geschlecht und Geschlecht.
Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion is throughout all generations.
14 Jehovah ist ein Anhalt allen, die da fallen, und richtet alle die Gebeugten auf.
Jehovah upholds all who fall, and raises up all those who are bowed down.
15 Aller Augen warten auf Dich, und Du gibst ihnen ihre Speise zu seiner Zeit.
The eyes of all wait for thee, and thou give them their food in due season.
16 Du tust Deine Hand auf und sättigst alles, was lebt, mit Wohlgefallen.
Thou open thy hand, and satisfy the desire of every living thing.
17 Jehovah ist gerecht in allen Seinen Wegen, und heilig in allen Seinen Taten.
Jehovah is righteous in all his ways, and gracious in all his works.
18 Jehovah ist allen nahe, die Ihn anrufen, allen, die Ihn anrufen in Wahrheit.
Jehovah is near to all those who call upon him, to all who call upon him in truth.
19 Nach dem Wohlgefallen derer, die Ihn fürchten, tut Er, und hört auf ihren Angstschrei und rettet sie.
He will fulfill the desire of those who fear him. He also will hear their cry and will save them.
20 Jehovah hütet alle, die Ihn lieben, und vernichtet alle Ungerechten.
Jehovah preserves all those who love him, but he will destroy all the wicked.
21 Das Lob Jehovahs rede mein Mund und alles Fleisch segne den Namen Seiner Heiligkeit in Ewigkeit und immerfort.
My mouth shall speak the praise of Jehovah. And let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever.
