4 Mose 8
1 Und Jehovah redete zu Mose und sprach:
And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
2 Rede zu Aharon und sprich zu ihm: Wenn du die Lampen aufsteckst, an der Vorderseite des Leuchters sollen die sieben Lampen leuchten.
Speake vnto Aaron, and say vnto him, When thou lightest the lampes, the seuen lampes shall giue light towarde the forefront of the Candlesticke.
3 Und Aharon tat also, und steckte seine Lampen auf die Vorderseite des Leuchters, wie Jehovah dem Mose geboten hatte.
And Aaron did so, lighting the lampes thereof towarde ye forefront of the Candlesticke, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
4 Und das Werk des Leuchters war dies: getriebenes Gold an seinem Schaft und an seinen Blumen getrieben; nach dem Gesicht, das Jehovah den Mose hatte sehen lassen, so machte er den Leuchter.
And this was the worke of the Candlesticke, euen of golde beaten out with the hammer, both the shafte, and the flowres thereof was beaten out with the hammer: according to the paterne, which the Lord had shewed Moses, so made he the Candlesticke.
5 Und Jehovah redete zu Mose und sprach:
And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
6 Nimm die Leviten aus der Mitte der Söhne Israels und reinige sie.
Take the Leuites from among the children of Israel, and purifie them.
7 Und tue also mit ihnen, sie zu reinigen: Sprenge auf sie Wasser der Entsündigung; und sie sollen das Schermesser über ihr ganzes Fleisch gehen lassen, und ihre Kleider waschen, und sich reinigen;
And thus shalt thou doe vnto them, when thou purifiest them, Sprinckle water of purification vpon them, and let them shaue all their flesh, and wash their clothes: so they shalbe cleane.
8 Und sollen nehmen einen Farren, das Junge vom Rind, und sein Speiseopfer, Semmelmehl mit Öl vermischt, und einen zweiten jungen Farren vom Rind sollst du nehmen zum Sündopfer.
Then they shall take a yong bullocke with his meate offring of fine floure, mingled with oyle, and another yong bullocke shalt thou take for a sinne offring.
9 Und lasse die Leviten vor das Versammlungszelt nahen, und versammle die ganze Gemeinde der Söhne Israels.
Then thou shalt bring the Leuites before the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and asseble all the Congregation of the children of Israel.
10 Und lasse die Leviten vor Jehovah nahen, und die Söhne Israels ihre Hände auf die Leviten legen.
Thou shalt bring the Leuites also before the Lord, and the children of Israel shall put their handes vpon the Leuites.
11 Und Aharon webe die Leviten als Webe vor Jehovah von den Söhnen Israels, auf daß sie den Dienst Jehovahs dienen.
And Aaron shall offer the Leuites before the Lord, as a shake offring of ye childre of Israel, that they may execute the seruice of the Lord.
12 Und die Leviten sollen ihre Hände auf den Kopf der Farren legen, und du sollst den einen als Sündopfer und den andern als Brandopfer machen, die Leviten zu sühnen.
And the Leuites shall put their handes vpon the heades of the bullockes, and make thou the one a sinne offring, and the other a burnt offring vnto the Lord, that thou mayest make an atonement for the Leuites.
13 Und laß die Leviten vor Aharon und vor seine Söhne stehen und sollst sie weben als Webe für Jehovah;
And thou shalt set the Leuites before Aaron and before his sonnes, and offer the as a shake offring to the Lord.
14 Und sollst die Leviten aus der Mitte der Söhne Israels scheiden, auf daß die Leviten Mein seien.
Thus thou shalt separate the Leuites from among the children of Israel, and the Leuites shall be mine.
15 Und danach sollen die Leviten eingehen, in dem Versammlungszelt zu dienen. Und du sollst sie reinigen und als Webe weben.
And afterwarde shall the Leuites goe in, to serue in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and thou shalt purifie them and offer them, as a shake offering.
16 Denn gegeben, gegeben sind sie Mir aus der Mitte der Söhne Israels statt allem, was den Mutterschoß bricht, für alle Erstgeburt an den Söhnen Israels habe Ich sie Mir genommen.
For they are freely giuen vnto me from among the children of Israel, for such as open any wombe: for all the first borne of the children of Israel haue I taken them vnto me.
17 Denn Mein ist alle Erstgeburt unter den Söhnen Israels vom Menschen und vom Vieh. Am Tage, da Ich alle Erstgeburt im Lande Ägypten schlug, habe Ich sie Mir geheiligt;
For all the first borne of the children of Israel are mine, both of man and of beast: since the day that I smote euery first borne in the land of Egypt, I sanctified them for my selfe.
18 Und habe die Leviten statt aller Erstgeburt unter den Söhnen Israels genommen;
And I haue taken the Leuites for all the first borne of the children of Israel,
19 Und gegeben die Leviten Aharon und seinen Söhnen als Gegebene aus der Mitte der Söhne Israels, zu dienen den Dienst der Söhne Israels im Versammlungszelt und zu sühnen über die Söhne Israels, daß keine Plage sei über die Söhne Israels, wenn die Söhne Israels zu dem Heiligtum herzutreten.
And haue giuen the Leuites as a gift vnto Aaron, and to his sonnes from among the children of Israel, to do the seruice of the children of Israel in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel, that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come neere vnto the Sanctuarie.
20 Und Mose und Aharon und die ganze Gemeinde der Söhne Israels taten den Leviten nach allem, was Jehovah dem Mose über die Leviten geboten hatte, so taten ihnen die Söhne Israels.
Then Moses and Aaron and all the Cogregation of the children of Israel did with the Leuites, according vnto all that the Lord had commanded Moses concerning the Leuites: so did the children of Israel vnto them.
21 Und die Leviten entsündigten sich, und wuschen ihre Kleider, und Aharon webte sie als Webe vor Jehovah, und Aharon sühnte sie, um sie zu reinigen.
So the Leuites were purified, and washed their clothes, and Aaron offred them as a shake offring before the Lord, and Aaron made an atonement for them, to purifie them.
22 Und danach kamen die Leviten hinein, ihren Dienst zu dienen im Versammlungszelt vor Aharon und vor seinen Söhnen. Wie Jehovah Mose über die Leviten geboten hatte, also taten sie ihnen.
And after that, went the Leuites in to doe their seruice in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, before Aaron and before his sonnes: as the Lord had commanded Moses concerning the Leuites, so they did vnto them.
23 Und Jehovah redete zu Mose und sprach:
And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
24 Dies ist für die Leviten: Von dem fünfundzwanzigsten Jahre und aufwärts rückte er aus in das Heer in den Dienst beim Versammlungszelt.
This also belongeth to the Leuites: from fiue and twentie yeere olde and vpwarde, they shall goe in, to execute their office in the seruice of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
25 Und von fünfzig Jahren an trete er aus dem Heere des Dienstes zurück und diene nicht mehr;
And after the age of fiftie yeere, they shall cease from executing the office, and shall serue no more:
26 Und er mag Dienst tun mit seinen Brüdern im Versammlungszelt, um der Hut zu warten. Keinen Dienst soll er aber dienen. Also sollst du den Leviten tun in ihrer Hut.
But they shall minister with their brethre in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, to keepe things committed to their charge, but they shall doe no seruice: thus shalt thou doe vnto the Leuites touching their charges.
