4 Mose 18

1 Und Jehovah sprach zu Aharon: Du und deine Söhne und das Haus deines Vaters mit dir, ihr sollt die Missetat des Heiligtums tragen; und du und deine Söhne mit dir, ihr sollt die Missetat eures Priestertums tragen.

And Jehovah saith unto Aaron, 'Thou, and thy sons, and the house of thy father with thee, do bear the iniquity of the sanctuary; and thou, and thy sons with thee, do bear the iniquity of your priesthood;

2 Aber auch deine Brüder, den Stamm Levi, den Stamm deines Vaters sollst du mit dir lassen nahen, daß sie dir anhangen und dir Dienste tun; du aber und deine Söhne mit dir, ihr sollt vor dem Zelte des Zeugnisses sein.

and also thy brethren, the tribe of Levi, the tribe of thy father, bring near with thee, and they are joined unto thee, and serve thee, even thou and thy sons with thee, before the tent of the testimony.

3 Und sie sollen deine Hut und die Hut des ganzen Zeltes halten. Nur den Geräten des Heiligtums und dem Altar sollen sie nicht nahen, auf daß nicht beide, sie und ihr, sterbet;

'And they have kept thy charge, and the charge of all the tent; only, unto the vessels of the sanctuary and unto the altar they do not come near, and they die not, either they or you;

4 Und sie sollen dir anhangen und die Hut des Versammlungszeltes halten, den ganzen Dienst am Zelte, und ein Fremder soll euch nicht nahen.

and they have been joined unto thee, and have kept the charge of the tent of meeting, for all the service of the tent; and a stranger doth not come near unto you;

5 Und ihr haltet die Hut des Heiligtums und die Hut des Altars, daß keine Entrüstung mehr über die Söhne Israels sei.

and ye have kept the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar, and there is no more wrath against the sons of Israel.

6 Und siehe, Ich habe eure Brüder, die Leviten, aus der Mitte der Söhne Israels genommen, für euch als Gabe sind sie Jehovah gegeben, zu dienen den Dienst des Versammlungszeltes.

'And I, lo, I have taken your brethren the Levites from the midst of the sons of Israel; to you a gift they are given by Jehovah, to do the service of the tent of meeting;

7 Und du und deine Söhne mit dir, ihr sollt euer Priestertum hüten, und jedes Ding, das am Altar und innerhalb des Vorhangs ist, und ihr sollet dienen. Den Dienst eures Priestertums gebe Ich euch als Gabe. Und der Fremde, der sich naht, soll des Todes sein.

and thou, and thy sons with thee, do keep your priesthood, for everything of the altar, and within the vail, and ye have served; a service of gift I make your priesthood; and the stranger who is coming near is put to death.'

8 Und Jehovah redete zu Aharon: Und Ich, siehe, Ich habe dir die Hut Meiner Hebeopfer gegeben; von allem, was die Söhne Israels geheiligt, gab Ich sie dir für die Salbung; und deinen Söhnen zu ewiger Satzung gab Ich sie.

And Jehovah speaketh unto Aaron: 'And I, lo, I have given to thee the charge of My heave-offerings, of all the hallowed things of the sons of Israel — to thee I have given them for the anointing, and to thy sons, by a statute age-during.

9 Dies sei dein vom Hochheiligen, vom Feuer! All ihre Opfergabe, all ihr Speiseopfer und all ihr Sündopfer und all ihr Schuldopfer, das sie Mir zurückgeben, als Allerheiligstes, sei es dein und deiner Söhne.

This is thine of the most holy things, from the fire: all their offering, to all their present, and to all their sin-offering, and to all their guilt-offering, which they give back to Me, is most holy to thee, and to thy sons;

10 Im Allerheiligsten sollst du es essen. Alles, was männlich ist, soll es essen. Heilig sei es dir!

in the holy of holies thou dost eat it; every male doth eat it; holy it is to thee.

11 Und dies sei dein: die Hebe ihrer Gabe in allen Webeopfern der Söhne Israels gebe Ich dir und deinen Söhnen und deinen Töchtern mit dir zu ewiger Satzung. Alles Reine in deinem Hause soll es essen.

'And this [is] thine: the heave-offering of their gift, to all the wave-offerings of the sons of Israel, to thee I have given them, and to thy sons, and to thy daughters with thee, by a statute age-during; every clean one in thy house doth eat it;

12 Alles Beste vom Öl und all das Beste vom Most und Korn, ihre Erstlinge, die sie Jehovah geben, sie gebe Ich dir.

all the best of the oil, and all the best of the new wine, and wheat — their first -[fruits] which they give to Jehovah — to thee I have given them.

13 Die Erstlinge von allem, das in ihrem Lande ist, das sie Jehovah hereinbringen, sollen dein sein. Alles Reine in deinem Haus soll es essen.

'The first-fruits of all that [is] in their land, which they bring in to Jehovah, are thine; every clean one in thy house doth eat it;

14 Alles Gebannte in Israel soll dein sein.

every devoted thing in Israel is thine,

15 Alles, was die Mutter bricht von allem Fleisch, das sie Jehovah darbringen, vom Menschen oder vom Vieh, soll dein sein. Nur sollst du die Erstgeburt vom Menschen einlösen lassen, und auch die Erstgeburt von unreinem Vieh muß du einlösen lassen.

every one opening a womb of all flesh which they bring near to Jehovah, among man and among beast, is thine; only, thou dost certainly ransom the first-born of man, and the firstling of the unclean beast thou dost ransom.

16 Und was die Einlösung anlangt, sollst du einlösen, was einen Monat alt ist, nach deiner Schätzung fünf Schekel Silber, nach dem Schekel des Heiligtums, zwanzig Gerah hat er.

'And their ransomed ones from a son of a month, thou dost ransom with thy valuation, of silver, five shekels, by the shekel of the sanctuary, twenty gerahs it [is].

17 Das Erstgeborene vom Rind, oder das Erstgeborene vom Schaf oder das Erstgeborene der Ziege sollst du nicht einlösen. Heilig sind sie. Ihr Blut sollst du sprengen auf den Altar, und ihr Fett als Feueropfer anzünden, als Geruch der Ruhe dem Jehovah.

'Only, the firstling of a cow, or the firstling of a sheep, or the firstling of a goat, thou dost not ransom, holy they [are]: their blood thou dost sprinkle on the altar, and of their fat thou makest perfume, a fire-offering of sweet fragrance to Jehovah,

18 Ihr Fleisch aber sei dein, wie die Webebrust und die rechte Schulter soll es dein sein.

and their flesh is thine, as the breast of the wave-offering, and as the right leg, it is thine;

19 Alle heiligen Heben, welche die Söhne Israels für Jehovah heben, gebe Ich dir und deinen Söhnen und deinen Töchtern mit dir zu ewiger Satzung. Ein ewiger Salzbund sei es vor Jehovah dir und deinem Samen mit dir.

all the heave-offerings of the holy things which the sons of Israel lift up to Jehovah I have given to thee and to thy sons, and to thy daughters with thee, by a statute age-during, a covenant of salt, age-during it [is] before Jehovah, to thee and to thy seed with thee.'

20 Und Jehovah sprach zu Aharon: In ihrem Lande sollst du nicht erben, und kein Teil in ihrer Mitte soll dein sein. Ich bin dein Teil und dein Erbe inmitten der Söhne Israels.

And Jehovah saith unto Aaron, 'In their land thou dost not inherit, and a portion thou hast not in their midst: I [am] thy portion, and thine inheritance in the midst of the sons of Israel;

21 Und siehe, den Söhnen Levis gebe Ich all den Zehnten in Israel zum Erbe wegen ihres Dienstes, den sie dienen, den Dienst in den Versammlungszelten.

and to the sons of Levi, lo, I have given all the tenth in Israel for inheritance in exchange for their service which they are serving — the service of the tent of meeting.

22 Und die Söhne Israels sollen nicht fürder dem Versammlungszelte nahen, so daß sie eine Sünde tragen, daß sie sterben.

'And the sons of Israel come no more near unto the tent of meeting, to bear sin, to die,

23 Und der Levite soll den Dienst des Versammlungszeltes dienen, und sie sollen ihre Missetat tragen. Ewige Satzung sei es für eure Geschlechter; und inmitten der Söhne Israels sollen sie kein Erbe erben.

and the Levites have done the service of the tent of meeting, and they — they bear their iniquity; a statute age-during to your generations, that in the midst of the sons of Israel they have no inheritance;

24 Denn den Zehnten von den Söhnen Israels, den sie Jehovah als Hebeopfer heben, gebe Ich den Leviten als Erbe. Darum sagte Ich ihnen, sie sollen inmitten der Söhne Israels kein Erbe erben.

but the tithe of the sons of Israel which they lift up to Jehovah, a heave-offering, I have given to the Levites for inheritance; therefore I have said of them, In the midst of the sons of Israel they have no inheritance.'

25 Und Jehovah redete zu Mose und sprach:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

26 Und zu den Leviten sollst du reden und ihnen sagen: Wenn ihr von den Söhnen Israels den Zehnten nehmet, den Ich euch von ihnen als euer Erbe gegeben habe, so sollt ihr davon heben den Zehnten von dem Zehnten Jehovah als Hebe.

'And unto the Levites thou dost speak; and thou hast said unto them, When ye take from the sons of Israel the tithe which I have given to you from them, for your inheritance, then ye have lifted up from it the heave-offering of Jehovah, a tithe of the tithe;

27 Und es soll euch als euer Hebeopfer gerechnet werden, wie Korn von der Tenne und wie die Fülle von der Weinkufe.

and your heave-offering hath been reckoned to you as corn from the threshing-floor, and as fulness from the wine-vat;

28 So sollt auch ihr von allen euren Zehnten, die ihr von den Söhnen Israels nehmet, Jehovah ein Hebeopfer heben, und davon die Hebe Jehovahs Aharon dem Priester geben.

so ye do lift up — ye also — the heave-offering of Jehovah from all your tithes which ye receive from the sons of Israel; and ye have given from it the heave-offering of Jehovah to Aaron the priest;

29 Von allen euren Gaben sollt ihr alle Hebe dem Jehovah heben, von all seinem Besten sein Heiliges davon.

out of all your gifts ye do lift up the whole heave-offering of Jehovah; out of all its fat, — its hallowed part — out of it.

30 Und sage ihnen: Hebt ihr das Beste davon, so wird es den Leviten gerechnet wie der Ertrag der Tenne und wie der Ertrag der Weinkufe.

'And thou hast said unto them, In your lifting up its fat out of it, then it hath been reckoned to the Levites, as increase of a threshing-floor, and as increase of a wine-vat;

31 Und ihr dürfet es aller Orten essen, ihr und euer Haus; denn es ist euer Lohn wegen eures Dienstes in dem Versammlungszelt.

and ye have eaten it in every place, ye and your households, for it [is] your hire in exchange for your service in the tent of meeting;

32 Und ihr werdet keine Sünde deswegen tragen, wenn ihr sein Bestes davon hebet. Und das von den Söhnen Israels Geheiligte sollt ihr nicht entweihen, auf daß ihr nicht sterbet.

and ye bear no sin for it, in your lifting up its fat out of it, and the holy things of the sons of Israel ye do not pollute, and ye die not.'
