4 Mose 16
1 Und es unternahm sich Korach, der Sohn Jizhars, des Sohnes Kohaths, des Sohnes Levis, und Dathan und Abiram, Söhne Eliabs, und On, Peleths Sohn, Rubens Söhne,
And he took Korah [the] son of Izhar [the] son of Kohath [the] son of Levi and Dathan and Abiram [the] sons of Eliab and On [the] son of Peleth [the] sons of Reuben.
2 Und sie standen auf vor Mose und zweihundertfünfzig Männer aus den Söhnen Israels, Fürsten der Gemeinde, Berufene der Versammlung, Männer von Namen.
And they rose up before Moses and men from [the] people of Israel fifty and two hundred leaders of [the] congregation called of [the] appointed meeting men of name.
3 Und sie versammelten sich gegen Mose und gegen Aharon und sprachen zu ihnen: Zu viel wollet ihr für euch! Denn die ganze Gemeinde, alle in ihr sind heilig, und Jehovah ist in ihrer Mitte. Und warum erhebt ihr euch über die Versammlung Jehovahs.
And they assembled on Moses and on Aaron and they said to them enough for you that all the congregation all of them [are] holy and [is] among midst of them Yahweh and why? do you exalt yourselves over [the] assembly of Yahweh.
4 Und Mose hörte es und fiel auf sein Angesicht,
And he heard Moses and he fell on face his.
5 Und redete zu Korach und zu seiner ganzen Gemeinde und sprach: Am Morgen, da wird Jehovah wissen lassen, wer Sein und wer heilig ist, daß Er ihn Sich nahen läßt; und wen Er erwählt, den wird Er Sich nahen lassen.
And he spoke to Korah and to all company his saying morning and he will make known Yahweh [the one] who [belongs] to him and the holy [person] and he will bring [him] near to himself and [the one] whom he will choose him he will bring near to himself.
6 Tut so: Nehmet euch Rauchpfannen, Korach und seine ganze Gemeinde.
This do take for yourselves censers O Korah and all company his.
7 Und tut Feuer darein und legt Räuchwerk darauf vor Jehovah, morgen. Und es soll sein, der Mann, den Jehovah erwählen wird, der soll heilig sein. Ihr wollt zu viel, Söhne Levis.
And put in them - fire and set on them incense before Yahweh tomorrow and it will be the man whom he will choose Yahweh he [will be] the holy [person] enough for you O descendants of Levi.
8 Und Mose sprach zu Korach: Höret doch, ihr Söhne Levis!
And he said Moses to Korah listen please O descendants of Levi.
9 Ist es euch zu wenig, daß der Gott Israels aus der Gemeinde Israels euch ausgeschieden hat, daß Er euch Ihm nahen läßt, daß ihr dienet den Dienst an der Wohnung Jehovahs, und vor der Gemeinde stehet Dienst zu tun?
¿ [is it too] small For you that he has set apart [the] God of Israel you from [the] congregation of Israel to bring near you to himself to serve [the] service of [the] tabernacle of Yahweh and to stand before the congregation to serve them.
10 Und Er hat dich und all deine Brüder, die Söhne Levis, mit dir Sich nahen lassen, und nun trachtet ihr auch nach dem Priestertum.
And he has brought near you and all brothers your [the] descendants of Levi with you but you seek also priesthood.
11 Fürwahr, du und all deine Gemeinde, ihr tut euch wider Jehovah zusammen; denn was ist Aharon, daß ihr wider ihn murret?
Therefore you and all company your [are] the [ones who] have gathered on Yahweh and Aaron what? [is] he that (you will cause to grumble *Q(K)*) on him.
12 Und Mose sandte hin, Dathan und Abiram, die Söhne Eliabs, zu rufen; sie sagten aber: Wir gehen nicht hinauf.
And he sent Moses to summon Dathan and Abiram [the] sons of Eliab and they said not we will come up.
13 Ist es noch zu wenig, daß du uns aus einem Lande heraufgeführt, das von Milch und Honig fließt, um uns in der Wüste zu töten, und willst auch noch als Oberster über uns schalten?
¿ [is it] small That you have brought up us from a land flowing of milk and honey to kill us in the wilderness that you will make yourself ruler over us also really.
14 Ja, auch nicht in ein Land, das von Milch und Honig fließt, hast du uns hineingebracht, daß du uns ein Erbe an Feld und Weinberg gäbest. Willst du diesen Leuten die Augen ausstechen? Wir kommen nicht hinauf.
Also not into a land flowing of milk and honey you have brought us and you have given to us an inheritance of field and vineyard ¿ [the] eyes of the men those will you put out not we will come up.
15 Und Mose entbrannte sehr und er sprach zu Jehovah: Wende Dich nicht zu ihrem Opfer. Nicht einen Esel habe ich von ihnen genommen, und keinem von ihnen etwas Böses getan!
And it burned to Moses exceedingly and he said to Yahweh may not you turn to offering their not a donkey one from them I have taken and not I have done harm to one of them.
16 Und zu Korach sprach Mose: Du und deine ganze Gemeinde seid vor Jehovah, du und sie und Aharon, morgen.
And he said Moses to Korah you and all company your be before Yahweh you and they and Aaron tomorrow.
17 Und jeder Mann nehme seine Rauchpfanne und tue Räuchwerk darauf, und bringet vor Jehovah dar, jeder Mann seine Rauchpfanne, zweihundertfünfzig Rauchpfannen, und du und Aharon, jeder Mann seine Rauchpfanne.
And take - each one censer his and you will put on them incense and you will bring near before Yahweh each one censer his fifty and two hundred censers and you and Aaron each one censer his.
18 Und ein jeder Mann nahm seine Rauchpfanne und tat Feuer darauf und legten Räuchwerk darauf, und sie standen am Eingang des Versammlungszeltes, und auch Mose und Aharon.
And they took each one censer his and they put on them fire and they set on them incense and they stood [the] entrance of [the] tent of meeting and Moses and Aaron.
19 Und Korach hatte die ganze Gemeinde an den Eingang des Versammlungszeltes wider sie versammelt. Und es erschien die Herrlichkeit Jehovahs der ganzen Gemeinde.
And he called together on them Korah all the congregation to [the] entrance of [the] tent of meeting and it appeared [the] glory of Yahweh to all the congregation.
20 Und Jehovah redete zu Mose und zu Aharon und sprach:
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses and to Aaron saying.
21 Scheidet euch aus von der Mitte dieser Gemeinde, auf daß Ich sie im Augenblick wegtilge.
Separate yourselves from among the congregation this so I may consume them like a moment.
22 Sie aber fielen auf ihr Angesicht und sprachen: Gott, Der Du bist der Gott der Geister alles Fleisches. Ein Mann hat gesündigt und bist Du entrüstet über die ganze Gemeinde?
And they fell on faces their and they said O God [the] God of the spirits of all flesh ¿ a man one will he sin and towards all the congregation will you be angry?
23 Und Jehovah redete zu Mose und sprach:
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
24 Rede zu der Gemeinde und sprich: Gehet hinauf von der Wohnung Korachs, Dathans und Abirams ringsum.
Speak to the congregation saying take yourselves up from round about [the] dwelling place of Korah Dathan and Abiram.
25 Und Mose machte sich auf und ging zu Dathan und Abiram, und hinter ihm gingen die Ältesten Israels.
And he arose Moses and he went to Dathan and Abiram and they went after him [the] elders of Israel.
26 Und er redete zu der Gemeinde und sprach: Weichet doch von den Zelten dieser ungerechten Männer und rühret nichts an von allem, das sie haben, auf daß ihr nicht in all ihren Sünden weggerafft werdet!
And he spoke to the congregation saying turn away please from at [the] tents of the men wicked these and may not you touch all that [belongs] to them lest you should be swept away with all sins their.
27 Und sie gingen weg ringsum hinauf von der Wohnung Korachs, Dathans und Abirams. Dathan und Abiram aber kamen heraus, stellten sich an den Eingang ihrer Zelte mit ihren Weibern, ihren Söhnen und ihren Kindlein.
And they took themselves up from at [the] dwelling place of Korah Dathan and Abiram from all around and Dathan and Abiram they came out standing [the] entrance of tents their and wives their and sons their and little one[s] their.
28 Und Mose sprach: Daran sollt ihr wissen, daß Jehovah mich gesandt hat, alle diese Taten zu tun, und sie nicht aus meinem Herzen sind;
And he said Moses by this you will know! that Yahweh he has sent me to do all the works these for not from own heart my.
29 Wenn diese sterben, wie alle Menschen sterben, und sie heimgesucht werden, wie alle Menschen heimgesucht werden, so hat Jehovah mich nicht gesandt.
If like [the] death of every human they will die! these [men] and [the] visitation of every human it will be visited on them not Yahweh he has sent me.
30 Schafft aber Jehovah etwas und sperrt der Boden seinen Mund auf und verschlingt sie und alles, das sie haben, und gehen sie lebendig zur Hölle hinab, so wisset, daß diese Männer Jehovah gelästert haben. (Sheol h7585)
And if a creation he will create Yahweh and it will open the ground mouth its and it will swallow them and all that [belongs] to them and they will go down alive Sheol towards and you will know that they have spurned the men these Yahweh. (Sheol h7585)
31 Und als er zu Ende war mit dem Reden all dieser Worte, da spaltete sich der Boden unter ihnen.
And it was when finished he to speak all the words these and it was split open the ground which [was] under them.
32 Und die Erde öffnete ihren Mund und verschlang sie und ihre Häuser, und alle Menschen, die zu Korach gehörten, und all ihre Habe.
And it opened the earth mouth its and it swallowed them and households their and every person who [belonged] to Korah and all the property.
33 Und sie gingen zur Hölle hinab, lebendig sie und alles, was sie hatten, und die Erde bedeckte sie, und sie waren zerstört aus der Mitte der Versammlung. (Sheol h7585)
And they went down they and all that [belonged] to them alive Sheol towards and it covered over them the earth and they perished from among the assembly. (Sheol h7585)
34 Und ganz Israel, das rings um sie war, floh auf ihre Stimme; denn sie sprachen: Daß die Erde uns nicht verschlinge.
And all Israel which [was] around them they fled to voice their for they said lest it should swallow us the earth.
35 Und Feuer ging aus von Jehovah und fraß auf die zweihundertfünfzig Männer, die das Räuchwerk dargebracht hatten.
And fire it came forth from with Yahweh and it consumed the fifty and two hundred man [who] were bringing near the incense.
36 Und Jehovah redete zu Mose und sprach:
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
37 Sage dem Eleasar, dem Sohne Aharons, des Priesters, er solle die Rauchpfannen aus dem Brande emporheben, und das Feuer fernhin zersprengen, denn sie sind heilig,
Speak to Eleazar [the] son of Aaron the priest so may he take up the censers from between the burning and the fire scatter beyond for they are holy.
38 Die Rauchpfannen dieser Sünder gegen ihre Seele; und ihr sollt sie zu breitem Blech schlagen, als Überzug über den Altar; denn sie brachten sie dar vor Jehovah; und sie sind darum geheiligt, und sollen zum Zeichen sein für die Söhne Israels.
[the] censers of The sinners these by lives their and people will make them beaten out of thin plates overlay for the altar for they brought near them before Yahweh and they became holy and they may become a sign for [the] people of Israel.
39 Und Eleasar, der Priester, nahm die ehernen Rauchpfannen, welche die Verbrannten dargebracht hatten, und sie schlugen sie breit zu einem Überzug für den Altar;
And he took Eleazar the priest [the] censers of bronze which they had brought near the [ones who] were burned and people beat out them overlay for the altar.
40 Zum Andenken für die Söhne Israels, damit kein fremder Mann sich nahe, der nicht vom Samen Aharons ist, um Räuchwerk vor Jehovah zu räuchern, auf daß ihm nicht wie Korach und seiner Gemeinde geschehe; wie Jehovah durch die Hand Moses zu ihm geredet hat.
A reminder to [the] people of Israel so that that not he may draw near a man strange who not [is] one of [the] offspring of Aaron he to make smoke incense before Yahweh and not he will be like Korah and like company his just as he had spoken Yahweh by [the] hand of Moses to him.
41 Und am morgenden Tag murrte die ganze Gemeinde der Söhne Israels gegen Mose und gegen Aharon und sagte: Ihr habt das Volk Jehovahs getötet.
And they grumbled all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel from [the] next day on Moses and on Aaron saying you you have killed [the] people of Yahweh.
42 Und es geschah, da die Gemeinde sich wider Mose und wider Aharon versammelte, und sie sich zum Versammlungszelte wandten, siehe, da bedeckte die Wolke dasselbe und die Herrlichkeit Jehovahs erschien.
And it was when assembled the congregation on Moses and on Aaron and they turned to [the] tent of meeting and there! it covered it the cloud and it appeared [the] glory of Yahweh.
43 Und Mose und Aharon kamen vor das Versammlungszelt.
And he came Moses and Aaron to [the] face of [the] tent of meeting.
44 Und Jehovah redete zu Mose und sprach:
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
45 Hebet euch weg aus der Mitte dieser Gemeinde! Und Ich werde sie wie im Augenblick verzehren. Und sie fielen auf ihr Angesicht;
Get away from among the congregation this so I may make an end of them like a moment and they fell on faces their.
46 Und Mose sprach zu Aharon: Nimm die Rauchpfanne und tue Feuer vom Altar darauf, und lege Räuchwerk darauf, und gehe eilig zu der Gemeinde und sühne sie; denn Entrüstung ist vom Angesichte Jehovahs ausgegangen, die Plage hat angefangen.
And he said Moses to Aaron take the censer and put on it fire from on the altar and set incense and take [it] quickly to the congregation and make atonement on them for it has gone forth wrath from to before Yahweh it has begun the plague.
47 Und Aharon nahm sie, wie Mose zu ihm geredet hatte, und lief mitten in die Versammlung, und siehe, die Plage hatte im Volke angefangen, und er tat das Räuchwerk darauf und sühnte das Volk;
And he took [it] Aaron just as - he had said Moses and he ran into [the] middle of the assembly and there! it had begun the plague among the people and he put the incense and he made atonement on the people.
48 Und stand zwischen die Toten und zwischen die Lebendigen, und der Plage ward Einhalt getan.
And he stood between the dead and between the living and it was restrained the plague.
49 Und der Toten in der Plage waren vierzehntausendsiebenhundert, außer den Toten wegen der Sache Korachs.
And they were those [who] died by the plague four-teen thousand and seven hundred besides the [ones who] died on [the] matter of Korah.
50 Und Aharon kehrte zu Mose zurück an den Eingang des Versammlungszeltes, und der Plage war Einhalt getan.
And he returned Aaron to Moses to [the] entrance of [the] tent of meeting and the plague it had been restrained.
