4 Mose 13
1 Und Jehovah redete zu Mose und sprach:
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
2 Sende die Männer aus, daß sie das Land Kanaan, das Ich den Söhnen Israels gebe, ausspähen; je einen Mann von dem Stamm seiner Väter, ein jeder ein Fürst unter ihnen, sollt ihr aussenden.
Send for yourself men so they may spy out [the] land of Canaan which I [am] about to give to [the] people of Israel a man one a man one for [the] tribe of ancestors his you will send every [one] a leader among them.
3 Und Mose sandte sie von der Wüste Paran aus, nach Jehovahs Befehl; sie alle waren Männer, die Häupter der Söhne Israels waren.
And he sent them Moses from [the] wilderness of Paran on [the] mouth of Yahweh all of them [were] men [who were] [the] heads of [the] people of Israel they.
4 Und das sind ihre Namen: Für den Stamm Ruben Schammna, Sakkurs Sohn.
And these [are] names their for [the] tribe of Reuben Shammua [the] son of Zaccur.
5 Für den Stamm Schimeon Schaphat, Choris Sohn.
For [the] tribe of Simeon Shaphat [the] son of Hori.
6 Für den Stamm Judah Kaleb, Sohn des Jephunneh.
For [the] tribe of Judah Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh.
7 Für den Stamm Jissaschar Jigeal, Josephs Sohn.
For [the] tribe of Issachar Igal [the] son of Joseph.
8 Für den Stamm Ephraim Hoschea, Sohn des Nun.
For [the] tribe of Ephraim Hoshea [the] son of Nun.
9 Für den Stamm Benjamin Palti, den Sohn Raphus.
For [the] tribe of Benjamin Palti [the] son of Raphu.
10 Für den Stamm Sebulon Gadiel, Sodis Sohn.
For [the] tribe of Zebulun Gaddiel [the] son of Sodi.
11 Für Josephs Stamm, für den Stamm Menascheh Gaddi, Susis Sohn.
For [the] tribe of Joseph for [the] tribe of Manasseh Gaddi [the] son of Susi.
12 Für den Stamm Dan Ammiel, Gemallis Sohn.
For [the] tribe of Dan Ammiel [the] son of Gemalli.
13 Für den Stamm Ascher Sethur, den Sohn Michaels.
For [the] tribe of Asher Sethur [the] son of Michael.
14 Für den Stamm Naphthali Nachbi, Vaphsis Sohn.
For [the] tribe of Naphtali Nahbi [the] son of Vopshi.
15 Für den Stamm Gad Geuel, Machis Sohn.
For [the] tribe of Gad Geuel [the] son of Maki.
16 Dies sind die Namen der Männer, die Mose sandte, das Land auszuspähen. Und Mose nannte Hoschea, den Sohn Nuns Jehoschua.
These [are] [the] names of the men whom he sent Moses to spy out the land and he called Moses Hoshea [the] son of Nun Joshua.
17 Und Mose sandte sie aus, das Land Kanaan auszuspähen und sprach zu ihnen: Gehet hier hinauf gen Mittag und steiget auf den Berg.
And he sent them Moses to spy out [the] land of Canaan and he said to them go up this in the Negev and you will go up the hill country.
18 Und sehet das Land, wie es ist, und das Volk, das darin wohnt, ob es stark ist oder schwach, ob ihrer wenige oder viele sind;
And you will see the land what? [is] it and the people which dwells on it ¿ strong [is] it ¿ feeble ¿ few [is] it or? many.
19 Und wie das Land ist, wo es wohnet, ob es gut oder schlecht ist, und wie die Städte sind, in denen es wohnt, ob sie in Lagern oder in Festungen wohnen;
And what? [is] the land which it [is] dwelling in it ¿ good [is] it or? bad and what? [are] the cities which it [is] dwelling in them ¿ in camps or? in fortresses.
20 Und wie das Land ist, ob fett oder mager, ob es Bäume darin gibt, oder nicht. Und seid stark und nehmet von der Frucht des Landes; und es waren eben die Tage der Erstlinge der Weinbeeren.
And what? [is] the land ¿ fat [is] it or? lean ¿ [is] there in it wood or? not and you will show yourselves strong and you will take some of [the] fruit of the land and the days [were the] days of [the] first-fruits of grapes.
21 Und sie zogen hinauf und spähten das Land aus von der Wüste Zin bis Rehob, da man nach Chamath kommt.
And they went up and they spied out the land from [the] wilderness of Zin to Rehob Lebo Hamath.
22 Und sie gingen hinauf gen Mittag und kamen bis Chebron und dort waren Achiman, Scheschai und Thalmai, Enaks Kinder; und Chebron war sieben Jahre vor Zoan in Ägypten erbaut;
And they went up in the Negev and he came to Hebron and [were] there Ahiman Sheshai and Talmai those born of Anak and Hebron seven years it was built before Zoan Egypt.
23 Und kamen bis in das Bachtal Eschkol und schnitten dort eine Rebe mit einer Traube von Weinbeeren ab und trugen sie auf einer Trage zu zweien, und auch von den Granatäpfeln und von den Feigen.
And they came to [the] wadi of Eshcol and they cut down from there a branch and a cluster of grapes one and they carried it on the pole two and some of the pomegranates and some of the figs.
24 Diesen Ort nennt man das Bachtal Eschkol, wegen der Traube, welche die Söhne Israels dort schnitten.
the Place that someone called [the] wadi of Eshcol on [the] causes of the cluster which they cut down from there [the] people of Israel.
25 Und sie kehrten von der Ausspähung des Landes am Ende von vierzig Tagen zurück;
And they returned from spying out the land from [the] end of forty day[s].
26 Und gingen und kamen zu Mose und zu Aharon und zur ganzen Gemeinde der Söhne Israels zur Wüste Paran nach Kadesch, und brachten ihnen und der ganzen Gemeinde Bericht und ließen sie die Frucht des Landes sehen;
And they went and they came to Moses and to Aaron and to all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel to [the] wilderness of Paran Kadesh towards and they brought back them word and all the congregation and they showed them [the] fruit of the land.
27 Und erzählten ihm und sagten: Wir kamen in das Land, wohin du uns sandtest; und es fließet auch von Milch und Honig, und das ist seine Frucht.
And they recounted to him and they said we went into the land which you sent us and also [is] flowing of milk and honey it and this [is] fruit its.
28 Nur ist das Volk, das in dem Lande wohnt, stark; und die Städte sind befestigt und sehr groß, und auch die Enakskinder haben wir dort gesehen.
Nevertheless for [is] strong the people which dwells in the land and the cities [are] fortified large very and also those born of Anak we saw there.
29 Amalek wohnt im Lande des Mittags und der Chethiter und der Jebusiter und der Amoriter wohnt auf dem Gebirge, und der Kanaaniter wohnt an dem Meer und zur Seite des Jordans.
Amalek [is] dwelling in [the] land of the Negev and the Hittite[s] and the Jebusite[s] and the Amorite[s] [is] dwelling in the hill country and the Canaanite[s] [is] dwelling at the sea and on [the] side of the Jordan.
30 Und Kaleb stillte das Volk für Mose und sprach: Lasset uns hinaufziehen und es einnehmen; denn wir vermögen es.
And he silenced Caleb the people to Moses and he said certainly we will go up and we will take possession of it for certainly we will prevail to it.
31 Die Männer aber, die mit ihm hinaufgezogen waren, sprachen: Wir vermögen nicht wider das Volk hinaufzuziehen; denn es ist stärker denn wir.
And the men who they had gone up with him they said not we are able to go up against the people for [is] strong it more than us.
32 Und sie brachten ein Gerede aus über das Land, das sie ausgespäht, unter die Söhne Israels und sagten: Das Land, das wir durchzogen, es auszuspähen, ist ein Land, das seine Einwohner frißt, und alles Volk, das wir darinnen sahen, sind hohe Männer.
And they brought out bad report of the land which they had spied out it to [the] people of Israel saying the land which we passed in it to spy out it [is] a land [which] devours inhabitants its it and all the people which we saw in [the] midst of it [were] men of stature.
33 Und wir haben dort die Riesen gesehen, Enaks Söhne, von den Riesen; und wir waren in unseren Augen wie Heuschrekken, und so waren wir in ihren Augen.
And there we saw the Nephilim [the] descendants of Anak [were] from the Nephilim and we were in own eyes our like grasshoppers and thus we were in view their.
