Matthaeus 24
1 Und Jesus ging hinaus und ging weg von dem Heiligtum, und Seine Jünger kamen herzu, um Ihm die Gebäude des Heiligtums zu zeigen.
Jesus went out from the temple, and was going on his way. His disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple.
2 Jesus aber sprach zu ihnen: Sehet ihr nicht alles dies? Wahrlich, Ich sage euch: Kein Stein wird hier auf dem Steine gelassen, der nicht niedergerissen würde.
But answering, he said to them, "Do you not see all of these things? Truly I tell you, there will not be left here one stone on another, that will not be thrown down."
3 Als Er Sich aber auf dem Ölberg niedergesetzt hatte, kamen die Jünger zu Ihm besonders und sprachen: Sage uns, wann dies sein wird, und was das Zeichen Deiner Ankunft und der Vollendung des Zeitlaufes sein wird. (aiōn g165)
As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?" (aiōn g165)
4 Und Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Sehet zu, daß euch niemand irreführe.
Jesus answered them, "Be careful that no one leads you astray.
5 Denn viele werden kommen unter Meinem Namen und sagen: Ich bin Christus, und werden viele irreführen.
For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Messiah,' and will lead many astray.
6 Ihr werdet aber von Kriegen und Kriegserüchten hören; sehet zu, daß euch nicht bange wird; denn das muß alles geschehen; aber noch ist das Ende nicht da.
You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled, for this must happen, but the end is not yet.
7 Denn es wird erweckt werden Völkerschaft wider Völkerschaft, und Königreich wider Königreich. Und es wird an verschiedenen Orten Hungersnot und Pestilenz und Erdbeben sein.
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines and plagues and earthquakes in various places.
8 Alles dies aber ist nur der Anfang der Wehen.
But all these things are the beginning of birth pains.
9 Alsdann werden sie euch in Trübsal überantworten, und euch töten; und ihr werdet von allen Völkerschaften gehaßt werden um Meines Namens willen.
Then they will deliver you up to oppression, and will kill you. You will be hated by all of the nations for my name's sake.
10 Und viele werden Ärgernis nehmen und einander überantworten und einander hassen.
Then many will stumble, and will deliver up one another, and will hate one another.
11 Und viele falsche Propheten werden erweckt werden und viele irreführen.
Many false prophets will arise, and will lead many astray.
12 Und weil das Unrecht sich mehrt, wird die Liebe vieler erkalten.
And because lawlessness is multiplied, the love of many will grow cold.
13 Wer aber beharrt bis ans Ende, der wird errettet werden.
But he who endures to the end, the same will be saved.
14 Und dieses Evangelium vom Reiche wird im ganzen Erdkreis gepredigt werden zum Zeugnis über alle Völkerschaften, und dann wird das Ende kommen.
This gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
15 Wenn ihr nun sehen werdet den Greuel der Verwüstung, von dem durch den Propheten Daniel gesagt ist, am heiligen Orte stehen wer es liest, der merke auf;
"When, therefore, you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),
16 Dann sollen die, so in Judäa sind, fliehen auf die Berge.
then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
17 Wer auf dem Dache ist, steige nicht hinab, etwas aus seinem Hause zu nehmen.
Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take out things that are in his house.
18 Und wer auf dem Felde ist, kehre nicht um hinter sich, seine Kleider zu nehmen.
Let him who is in the field not return back to take his coat.
19 Wehe aber den Schwangeren und den Säugenden in jenen Tagen.
But woe to those who are with child and to nursing mothers in those days.
20 Betet aber, daß eure Flucht nicht im Winter oder am Sabbath geschehe.
Pray that your flight will not be in the winter, nor on a Sabbath,
21 Denn dann wird große Trübsal sein, wie sie seit Anfang der Welt bis jetzt nicht war, und auch nicht werden wird.
for then there will be great oppression, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever will be.
22 Und würden diese Tage nicht verkürzt, so würde kein Fleisch gerettet werden; aber um der Auserwählten willen werden diese Tage verkürzt.
Unless those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved. But for the sake of the chosen ones, those days will be shortened.
23 Wenn dann einer euch sagen wird: Siehe, hier ist Christus, oder da, so glaubt es nicht!
"Then if anyone tells you, 'Look, here is the Messiah,' or, 'There,' do not believe it.
24 Denn es werden falsche Christi und falsche Propheten auftreten und große Zeichen und Wunder geben, so daß, wenn es möglich wäre, sie selbst die Auserwählten irreführen.
For there will arise false messiahs, and false prophets, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.
25 Siehe, Ich habe es euch vorhergesagt.
"See, I have told you beforehand.
26 Wenn sie euch dann sagen: Siehe, in der Wüste ist Er! so geht nicht hinaus; siehe, in den Kammern ist Er, so glaubt es nicht.
If therefore they tell you, 'Look, he is in the wilderness,' do not go out; 'Look, he is in the inner chambers,' do not believe it.
27 Denn wie der Blitz ausgeht vom Aufgang und scheint bis zum Niedergang, so wird auch die Ankunft des Menschen Sohnes sein.
For as the lightning flashes from the east, and is seen even to the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
28 Denn wo das Aas ist, da sammeln sich die Adler.
Wherever the carcass is, there is where the vultures gather together.
29 Alsbald aber nach der Trübsal jener Tage wird die Sonne verfinstert werden, und der Mond seinen Schein nicht geben, und die Sterne werden vom Himmel fallen, und die Kräfte der Himmel werden erschüttert werden.
But immediately after the oppression of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken;
30 Und dann wird das Zeichen des Menschen Sohnes im Himmel erscheinen, und dann werden alle Stämme der Erde jammern und des Menschen Sohn kommen sehen auf den Wolken des Himmels mit Kraft und großer Herrlichkeit.
and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. Then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.
31 Und Er wird Seine Engel aussenden mit großer Posaunenstimme, und sie werden Seine Auserwählten zusammenversammeln aus den vier Winden von einem Ende der Himmel bis an das andere.
He will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather together his chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.
32 Vom Feigenbaum aber lernt das Gleichnis: Wenn sein Zweig schon saftig wird und die Blätter hervortreibt, erkennt ihr, daß der Sommer nahe ist.
"Now from the fig tree learn this parable. When its branch has now become tender, and puts forth its leaves, you know that the summer is near.
33 So sollt auch ihr, wenn ihr alles dies seht, erkennen, daß es nahe vor der Tür ist.
Even so you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Wahrlich, Ich sage euch, dies Geschlecht wird mitnichten vergehen, bis daß dies alles geschehe.
Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away, until all these things are accomplished.
35 Himmel und Erde werden vergehen, aber Meine Worte werden nicht vergehen.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
36 Von jenem Tag und der Stunde aber weiß niemand, auch die Engel in den Himmeln nicht, sondern allein Mein Vater.
But no one knows of that day and hour, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but my Father only.
37 Wie die Tage Noachs waren, so wird auch die Ankunft des Menschen Sohnes sein.
"As the days of Noah were, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
38 Denn wie sie waren in den Tagen vor der Sündflut: sie aßen und tranken, sie freiten und ließen freien bis zu dem Tage, da Noach in die Arche einging,
For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the box-shaped ship,
39 Und erkannten es nicht, bis die Sündflut kam und sie alle wegnahm: so wird auch die Ankunft des Menschen Sohnes sein.
and they did not know until the flood came, and took them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
40 Dann werden zwei auf dem Felde sein, der eine wird angenommen, der andere gelassen.
Then two will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.
41 Zwei mahlen in der Mühle; die eine wird angenommen, die andere gelassen.
Two will be grinding grain with a mill; one will be taken and the other left.
42 So wachet denn: weil ihr nicht wisset, zu welcher Stunde euer Herr kommt.
Watch therefore, for you do not know on what day your Lord comes.
43 Das aber erkennet, daß, wenn der Hausherr wüßte, um welche Nachtwache der Dieb kommt, er wohl wachte und ihn nicht ins Haus einbrechen ließe.
But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch of the night the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.
44 Deshalb seid auch ihr bereit; denn des Menschen Sohn kommt zu einer Stunde, da ihr es nicht meinet.
Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you do not expect, the Son of Man will come.
45 Wer ist wohl der treue und kluge Knecht, den sein Herr über sein Gesinde setzte, um ihnen zur rechten Zeit die Nahrung zu geben?
"Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has set over his household, to give them their food in due season?
46 Selig ist jener Knecht, den sein Herr, wenn er kommt, findet also tun.
Blessed is that servant whom his lord finds doing so when he comes.
47 Wahrlich, Ich sage euch: Er wird ihn über alle seine Habe setzen.
Truly I tell you that he will set him over all that he has.
48 So aber jener böse Knecht spricht in seinem Herzen: Mein Herr verziehet zu kommen,
But if that evil servant should say in his heart, 'My lord is delayed,'
49 Und fängt an, seine Mitknechte zu schlagen, und zu essen und zu trinken mit den Trunkenen:
and begins to beat his fellow servants, and eat and drink with the drunkards,
50 So wird der Herr jenes Knechtes kommen an einem Tage, an dem er es nicht erwartet, und zu einer Stunde, die er nicht erkennt.
the lord of that servant will come in a day when he does not expect it, and in an hour when he does not know it,
51 Und wird ihn zerscheitern und ihm sein Teil mit den Heuchlern anweisen. Da wird sein Weinen und Zähneknirschen.
and will cut him in pieces, and appoint his portion with the hypocrites. There is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.
