Markus 1
1 Anfang des Evangeliums von Jesus Christus, dem Sohne Gottes,
The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
2 Wie geschrieben ist im Propheten Jesajas: Siehe, Ich sende Meinen Engel aus vor Deinem Angesicht, der Deinen Weg zurüste vor Dir.
As it is written in the Prophets, “Behold, I am sending my messenger ahead of yoʋ, who will prepare yoʋr way before yoʋ,
3 Die Stimme eines Rufenden in der Wüste: Bereitet den Weg des Herrn, machet gerade Seine Pfade.
the voice of one crying out in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord; make his paths straight,’”
4 Johannes war in der Wüste, taufte und predigte die Taufe der Buße zur Vergebung der Sünden.
John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
5 Und es ging zu ihm hinaus die ganze judäische Landschaft und die von Jerusalem, und ließen sich alle von ihm taufen im Flusse Jordan, indem sie ihre Sünden bekannten.
The whole Judean countryside was going out to him, and so were the people of Jerusalem. They were all being baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins.
6 Johannes aber war bekleidet mit Kamelshaaren und mit einem ledernen Gürtel um seine Lenden und aß Heuschrecken und wilden Honig,
Now John was clothed with camel's hair and wore a leather belt around his waist; he ate locusts and wild honey.
7 Und predigte und sprach: Es kommt Einer nach mir, Der stärker ist, denn ich, und Dem ich nicht genugsam bin, mich zu bücken und den Riemen Seiner Schuhe zu lösen.
He proclaimed, “After me comes one who is mightier than I, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie.
8 Ich zwar habe euch mit Wasser getauft; aber Er wird euch mit dem Heiligen Geiste taufen.
I have baptized you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”
9 Und in jenen Tagen geschah es, daß Jesus von Nazareth in Galiläa kam und Sich von Johannes im Jordan taufen ließ.
In those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
10 Und alsbald, als Er aus dem Wasser heraufstieg, sah Er die Himmel sich teilen und den Geist wie ein Taube auf Sich herniederkommen.
Immediately as he was coming up from the water, he saw the heavens being split apart and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.
11 Und eine Stimme geschah aus den Himmeln: Du bist Mein geliebter Sohn, an Dem Ich Wohlgefallen habe,
Then a voice came from heaven: “Yoʋ are my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
12 Und alsbald trieb Ihn der Geist hinaus in die Wüste.
Immediately the Spirit drove him out into the wilderness,
13 Und Er war allda in der Wüste vierzig Tage, versucht von dem Satan, und Er war mit den wilden Tieren; und die Engel dienten Ihm.
and he was there in the wilderness for forty days, being tempted by Satan. He was with the wild beasts, and the angels ministered to him.
14 Nachdem aber Johannes überantwortet war, kam Jesus nach Galiläa und predigte das Evangelium vom Reiche Gottes.
After John was put in prison, Jesus went to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God
15 Und sprach: Die Zeit ist erfüllt und das Reich Gottes hat sich genahet. Tut Buße und glaubet an das Evangelium.
and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has drawn near. Repent and believe in the gospel.”
16 Da Jesus aber am galiläischen Meer wandelte, sah Er Simon und Andreas, seinen Bruder, die ein Fischnetz im Meer ausbreiteten; denn sie waren Fischer.
As Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother (that is, Simon's brother) casting a net in the sea, for they were fishermen.
17 Und Jesus sprach zu ihnen: Kommet Mir nach, und Ich will euch zu Menschenfischern machen.
Jesus said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
18 Und alsbald verließen sie ihre Netze und folgten Ihm nach.
So they immediately left their nets and followed him.
19 Und da Er von dannen ein wenig weiter ging, sah Er Jakobus, des Zebedäus Sohn, und Johannes, seinen Bruder, und sie richteten im Fahrzeug ihre Netze zu.
Going on a little farther from there, he saw James the son of Zebedee and John his brother as they were in the boat mending their nets.
20 Und alsbald rief Er ihnen. Und sie ließen ihren Vater Zebedäus in dem Fahrzeug mit den Mietlingen und gingen hin, Ihm nach.
Immediately he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed him.
21 Und sie gingen hinein nach Kapernaum, und alsbald ging Er hinein am Sabbath in die Synagoge und lehrte.
They went to Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath Jesus went into the synagogue and began teaching.
22 Und sie staunten über Seine Lehre; denn Er lehrte sie als einer, der Gewalt hat, und nicht wie die Schriftgelehrten.
The people were astonished at his teaching, because he was teaching them as one who had authority, and not as the scribes.
23 Und in ihrer Synagoge war ein Mensch mit einem unreinen Geist, und er schrie auf,
Now in their synagogue there was a man possessed by an unclean spirit. He cried out,
24 Und sagte: Laß uns, was haben wir mit Dir Jesus von Nazareth? Du bist gekommen, uns zu verderben. Ich weiß, wer Du bist! - Der Heilige Gottes.
“Leave us alone! What do yoʋ have to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have yoʋ come to destroy us? I know who yoʋ are—the Holy One of God.”
25 Und Jesus bedrohte ihn und sprach: Verstumme und gehe aus von ihm!
But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silent, and come out of him!”
26 Und der unreine Geist zerrte ihn hin und her, schrie mit großer Stimme und ging aus von ihm.
So the unclean spirit convulsed the man and came out of him, crying out with a loud voice.
27 Und alle waren bestürzt, so daß sie untereinander sich befragten und sprachen: Was ist das? Was für eine neue Lehre ist das? Mit Gewalt gebeut Er sogar den unreinen Geistern und sie gehorchen Ihm.
All the people were amazed so that they questioned among themselves, saying, “What is this? What new teaching is this that with authority he commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him?”
28 Das Gerücht von Ihm ging aber alsbald aus in die ganze Umgegend von Galiläa.
And the news about him immediately spread throughout all the surrounding region of Galilee.
29 Und sie gingen aus alsbald aus der Synagoge und kamen in das Haus des Simon und Andreas mit Jakobus und Johannes.
After leaving the synagogue, they immediately went to the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
30 Simons Schwiegermutter aber lag am Fieber danieder; und alsbald sagten sie Ihm von ihr.
Now Simon's mother-in-law lay sick with a fever, and they immediately told Jesus about her.
31 Und Er kam herzu, richtete sie auf und ergriff sie bei ihrer Hand; und alsbald verließ sie das Fieber; und sie bediente sie.
So he went over to her and raised her up, taking hold of her hand. Immediately the fever left her, and she began to serve them.
32 Als es aber Abend ward, da die Sonne unterging, trugen sie alle die Leidenden und die Besessenen zu Ihm.
When evening came, after the sun had set, they brought to Jesus all who were sick and those who were possessed by demons.
33 Und die ganze Stadt sammelte sich zusammen an der Tür.
The whole city was gathered together at the door,
34 Und Er heilte viele Leidende, mit allerlei Krankheiten; und Er trieb viele Dämonen aus, und ließ die Dämonen nicht reden, denn sie kannten Ihn.
and he healed many who were sick with various diseases. He also cast out many demons, but he would not allow the demons to speak, because they knew who he was.
35 Und des Morgens, da es noch gar Nacht war, stand Er auf, ging hinaus und kam an einen wüsten Ort und betete daselbst.
Early the next morning, while it was still very dark, Jesus rose and departed. He went off to a desolate place and prayed there.
36 Simon aber, und die mit Ihm waren, setzten Ihm nach.
Simon and his companions searched diligently for him,
37 Und da sie Ihn fanden, sagen sie zu Ihm: Alle suchen Dich!
and when they found him, they said to him, “Everyone is looking for yoʋ.”
38 Und Er spricht zu ihnen: Lasset uns in die benachbarten Dörfer gehen, auf daß Ich auch dort predige; denn dazu bin Ich ausgegangen.
Jesus said to them, “Let us go into the neighboring towns so that I may preach there also, for that is why I have come.”
39 Und Er predigte in ihren Synagogen in ganz Galiläa und trieb die Dämonen aus.
So he was preaching in their synagogues in all of Galilee and casting out demons.
40 Und es kommt ein Aussätziger zu Ihm, fleht Ihn an und fällt zu Seinen Knien und spricht zu Ihm: Wenn Du willst, kannst Du mich reinigen.
Then a leper came up and knelt before him, begging him, “If yoʋ are willing, yoʋ can make me clean.”
41 Es jammerte aber Jesus, Er streckte die Hand aus, berührte ihn und sprach zu ihm: Ich will, sei gereinigt!
Moved with compassion, Jesus stretched out his hand, touched the man, and said to him, “I am willing; be made clean.”
42 Und als Er so gesprochen, ging der Aussatz alsbald von ihm, und er war geeinigt.
When he said this, the leprosy immediately departed from the man, and he was made clean.
43 Und Er drohte ihm und trieb ihn alsbald hinaus.
Then Jesus sternly warned him and immediately sent him away,
44 Und spricht zu ihm: Siehe zu, sage niemand etwas; sondern gehe hin, zeige dich dem Priester, und bringe dar für deine Reinigung, was Moses verordnet hat, ihnen zum Zeugnis.
saying to him, “Be sure not to say anything to anyone, but go show yoʋrself to the priest and offer for yoʋr cleansing what Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”
45 Da er aber hinauskam, fing er an, viel davon zu verkündigen und das Wort ruchbar zu machen, so daß Er hinfort nicht mehr öffentlich in eine Stadt eingehen konnte, sondern außen an wüsten Orten war; und sie kamen zu Ihm von überall her.
But the man went out and began to proclaim it widely and to spread the news, so that Jesus could no longer openly enter a town, but was out in desolate places. Yet people were coming to him from everywhere.
