3 Mose 21
1 Und Jehovah sprach zu Mose: Sprich zu den Priestern, den Söhnen Aharons, und sage ihnen: Keiner verunreinige sich an einer Seele in seinem Volke;
And the Lord said vnto Moses, Speake vnto the Priestes the sonnes of Aaron, and say vnto them, Let none be defiled by the dead among his people,
2 Außer an seinem Verwandten, der ihm am nächsten ist, seiner Mutter und seinem Vater, und seinem Sohne und seiner Tochter und seinem Bruder,
But by his kinseman that is neere vnto him: to wit, by his mother, or by his father, or by his sonne, or by his daughter, or by his brother,
3 Und seiner Schwester, die eine Jungfrau und ihm nahe ist, und noch keinen Mann hatte. An ihr darf er unrein werden.
Or by his sister a maid, that is neere vnto him, which hath not had a husband: for her he may lament.
4 Er soll sich nicht verunreinigen als Herr in seinem Volke, so daß er dadurch entweiht würde.
He shall not lament for the Prince among his people, to pollute him selfe.
5 Sie sollen sich keine Kahlheit auf dem Haupte machen, und die Ecke ihres Bartes nicht scheren, noch Einschnitte an ihrem Fleische einschneiden.
They shall not make balde partes vpon their head, nor shaue off the locks of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.
6 Sie sollen ihrem Gott heilig sein, und den Namen ihres Gottes nicht entweihen; denn die Feueropfer Jehovahs, das Brot ihres Gottes bringen sie dar; darum seien sie heilig.
They shalbe holy vnto their God, and not pollute the name of their God: for the sacrifices of the Lord made by fire, and the bread of their God they doe offer: therefore they shalbe holie.
7 Sie sollen kein Weib, das eine Buhlerin ist, noch eine Entweihte nehmen, noch sollen sie eine, die von ihrem Manne verstoßen worden, nehmen; denn heilig ist er seinem Gotte.
They shall not take to wife an whore, or one polluted, neither shall they marrie a woman diuorced from her husband: for such one is holy vnto his God.
8 Und du sollst ihn heilig halten; denn das Brot deines Gottes bringt er dar. Heilig sei er dir; denn heilig bin Ich, Jehovah, Der euch heiligt.
Thou shalt sanctifie him therefore, for he offereth the bread of thy God: he shall be holy vnto thee: for I the Lord, which sanctifie you, am holy.
9 Und die Tochter eines Mannes, der Priester ist, die zu buhlen anfängt, entweiht ihren Vater, und soll im Feuer verbrannt werden.
If a Priestes daughter fall to play the whore, she polluteth her father: therefore shall she be burnt with fire.
10 Aber wer Hohepriester ist unter seinen Brüdern, auf dessen Haupt das Salböl gegossen, und dessen Hand gefüllt worden ist, die Kleider anzuziehen, der soll sein Haupt nicht blößen und seine Kleider nicht aufreißen;
Also ye hie Priest among his brethren, (vpon whose head the anointing oyle was powred, and hath consecrated his hand to put on the garments) shall not vncouer his head, nor rent his clothes,
11 Und soll zu keiner Seele gehen, darf sich weder bei seinem Vater, noch bei seiner Mutter verunreinigen.
Neither shall he goe to any dead bodie, nor make him selfe vncleane by his father or by his mother,
12 Und aus dem Heiligtum komme er nicht heraus, auf daß er das Heiligtum seines Gottes nicht entweihe; denn die Weihe des Salböls seines Gottes ist auf ihm. Ich bin Jehovah.
Neither shall he goe out of the Sanctuarie, nor pollute the holy place of his God: for the crowne of the anoynting oyle of his God is vpon him: I am the Lord.
13 Und er soll ein Weib in ihrer Jungfrauschaft nehmen;
Also he shall take a maide vnto his wife:
14 Keine Witwe, keine Verstoßene, keine Entweihte, keine Buhlerin; keine solche soll er nehmen, sondern eine Jungfrau von seinem Volke nehme er zum Weibe;
But a widowe, or a diuorced woman, or a polluted, or an harlot, these shall he not marrie, but shall take a maide of his owne people to wife:
15 Und er soll seinen Samen nicht entweihen in seinem Volk; denn Ich, Jehovah, heilige ihn.
Neyther shall he defile his seede among his people: for I am the Lord which sanctifie him.
16 Und Jehovah redete zu Mose und sprach:
And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
17 Rede zu Aharon und sprich: Kein Mann deines Samens in seinen Geschlechtern, an dem ein Makel ist, soll sich nahen das Brot seines Gottes darzubringen.
Speake vnto Aaron, and say, Whosoeuer of thy seede in their generations hath any blemishes, shall not prease to offer the bread of his God:
18 Denn kein Mann, an dem ein Makel ist, soll sich nahen, kein blinder Mann oder Lahmer oder an dem etwas zu kurz oder zu lang ist;
For whosoeuer hath any blemish, shall not come neere: as a man blinde or lame, or that hath a flat nose, or that hath any misshapen member,
19 Oder ein Mann, dem ein Fuß gebrochen oder eine Hand gebrochen ist.
Or a man that hath a broken foote, or a broken hande,
20 Oder ein Mann, der höckerig oder abgemagert ist, oder einen Fleck im Auge oder die Krätze oder die Flechte oder zerdrückte Hoden hat.
Or is crooke backt, or bleare eyed, or hath a blemish in his eye, or be skiruie, or skabbed, or haue his stones broken.
21 Kein Mann vom Samen des Priesters Aharon, der einen Makel an ihm hat, soll herzutreten, die Feueropfer Jehovahs darzubringen. Ein Makel ist an ihm: er darf nicht herzutreten, das Brot seines Gottes darzubringen.
None of the seede of Aaron the Priest that hath a blemish, shall come neere to offer the sacrifices of the Lord made by fire, hauing a blemish: he shall not prease to offer the bread of his God.
22 Das Brot seines Gottes vom Hochheiligen und vom Heiligen darf er essen.
The bread of his God, euen of the most holie, and of the holy shall he eate:
23 Nur zum Vorhang darf er nicht eingehen, und zum Altar nicht hinzutreten; denn ein Makel ist an ihm, auf daß er Meine Heiligtümer nicht entweihe; denn Ich, Jehovah, bin es, Der sie heiligt.
But he shall not goe in vnto the vaile, nor come neere the altar, because hee hath a blemish, least he pollute my Sanctuaries: for I am the Lord that sanctifie them.
24 Und Mose redete so zu Aharon und zu seinen Söhnen und zu allen Söhnen Israels.
Thus spake Moses vnto Aaron, and to his sonnes, and to all the children of Israel.
