Johannes 21
1 Danach offenbarte Sich Jesus den Jüngern abermals am Meer von Tiberias. Er offenbarte Sich aber also:
AFTER these Jeshu again showed himself to his disciples at the sea of Tiberios; and he showed (himself) thus.
2 Es waren beisammen Simon Petrus und Thomas, genannt der Zwilling, und Nathanael aus Kana in Galiläa und die Söhne des Zebedäus und zwei andere von Seinen Jüngern.
There were together Shemun Kipha, and Thoma who was called the Twin, and Nathanael, he who was of Kotna of Galila, and the sons of Zabdai, and two other of the disciples.
3 Spricht zu ihnen Simon Petrus: Ich gehe hin fischen. Sie sagen zu ihm: Wir gehen auch mit dir. Sie gingen hinaus und stiegen alsbald in ein Schiff, fingen aber nichts in selbiger Nacht.
Shemun Kipha saith to them, I go to net fishes. They say to him, We also go with thee. And they went forth and ascended into a vessel; and through that night they netted nothing.
4 Als es aber schon Morgen geworden, stand Jesus am Ufer; die Jünger aber wußten nicht, daß es Jesus war.
But when it was morning Jeshu stood on the sea shore; but the disciples knew not that it was Jeshu.
5 Spricht zu ihnen Jesus: Kindlein, habt ihr nichts zu essen? Sie antworteten Ihm: Nein.
And Jeshu said to them, Children, have you any thing to eat? They say to him, No.
6 Er aber sagte zu ihnen: Werfet das Netz zu rechten Seite des Schiffes, und ihr werdet finden. Da warfen sie es aus und vermochten es nicht mehr zu ziehen vor der Menge der Fische.
He saith to them, Cast your net on the right side of the vessel, and you shall find. And they cast (it), and could not draw the net for the multitude of fishes which it held.
7 Da spricht selbiger Jünger, den Jesus liebte, zu Petrus: Es ist der Herr! Da Simon Petrus hörte, daß es der Herr wäre, gürtete er sich den Überwurf um - denn er war nackt -und warf sich ins Meer.
And that disciple whom Jeshu loved said to Kipha, This is our Lord. But Shemun, when he heard that it was our Lord, took his tunic, and threw it over his loins, for he was naked, and cast himself into the sea to come to Jeshu.
8 Die anderen Jünger aber kamen in dem Schifflein denn sie waren nicht weit vom Lande, sondern etwa zweihundert Ellen und schleppten das Netz mit den Fischen.
But the other disciples came in the vessel, for they were not far from the land, but as two hundred ameen, and they drew that net of fishes.
9 Wie sie nun ans Land ausstiegen, sehen sie ein Kohlenfeuer angelegt und ein Fischlein darauf liegen und Brot.
Then when they had ascended the land, they saw coals laid, and fish laid upon them, and bread.
10 Spricht Jesus zu ihnen: Bringet nun von den Fischlein, die ihr gefangen habt.
And Jeshu said, Bring of the fish which you have now caught.
11 Simon Petrus stieg hinein und zog das Netz ans Land voll großer Fische hundertdreiundfünfzig. Und wiewohl es so viele waren, zerriß das Netz nicht.
And Shemun Kipha went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: yet for all this weight that net was not broken.
12 Spricht Jesus zu ihnen: Kommt her und frühstückt! Keiner der Jünger aber wagte Ihn zu fragen: Wer bist Du? Da sie wußten, daß es der Herr war.
And Jeshu said to them, Come, dine. But one of the disciples did not dare to ask him, Who is he? for they knew that it was our Lord.
13 Da kommt Jesus und nimmt das Brot und gibt es ihnen, desgleichen auch das Fischlein.
And Jeshu drew near, and took bread, and fish, and gave to them.
14 Dies war nun das dritte Mal, daß Jesus Sich Seinen Jüngern offenbarte, nachdem Er von den Toten auferweckt ward.
This is the third time that Jeshu was seen by his disciples when he had risen from among the dead.
15 Als sie nun gefrühstückt hatten, spricht Jesus zu Simon Petrus: Simon Jona, liebst du Mich mehr denn diese? Er spricht zu ihm: Ja, Herr, Du weißt, daß ich Dich lieb habe. Spricht Er zu ihm: Weide Meine Lämmlein!
WHEN they had dined, Jeshu said to Shemun Kipha, Shemun bar Jona, lovest thou me more than these? He saith to him, Yes, my Lord, thou knowest that I love thee. Jeshu saith to him, Feed my lambs.
16 Spricht Er wieder zum zweitenmal zu ihm: Simon Jona, liebst du Mich? Spricht er zu Ihm: Ja, Herr, du weißt, daß ich Dich lieb habe. Spricht Er zu ihm: Hüte Meine Schafe!
He saith to him again the second time, Shemun bar Jona, lovest thou me? He saith to him, Yes, my Lord, thou knowest that I love thee. Jeshu saith to him, Feed my sheep.
17 Spricht Er zum drittenmal zu ihm: Simon Jona, hast du Mich lieb? Petrus ward betrübt, daß Er zum dritten Male zu ihm sagte: Hast du Mich lieb? Und er sprach zu Ihm: Herr, du weißt alle Dinge, Du erkennst, daß ich Dich lieb habe. Sagt Jesus zu ihm: Weide Meine Schafe!
Jeshu saith to him again the third time, Shemun bar Jona, lovest thou me? And it grieved Kipha that he said to him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said to him, My Lord, all things thou understandest, thou knowest that I love thee. Jeshu saith to him, Feed my sheep.
18 Wahrlich, wahrlich, Ich sage dir: Da du jünger warst, gürtetest du dich selbst und wandeltest, wo du wolltest. Wenn du aber alt bist, wirst du deine Hände ausrecken, und ein anderer wird dich gürten und bringen, wo du nicht hin willst.
Amen, I say to thee, When thou wast young, thou didst gird thy loins and walk whithersoever thou willedst; but when thou art old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another will bind thy loins, and conduct thee whither thou willest not.
19 Dies sagte Er aber, um anzuzeigen, mit welchem Tode er Gott verherrlichen würde. Und als Er solches gesprochen hatte, sagte Er zu ihm: Folge Mir nach!
But this he said, to show by what death he was to glorify Aloha. And when he had said these, he said to him, Come after me.
20 Petrus aber wandte sich um und erblickte den Jünger nachfolgen, den Jesus liebte, der auch beim Abendmahl sich nach Seiner Brust neigte, und sprach: Herr, wer ist es, der Dich verrät?
AND Shemun turned, and saw the disciple whom Jeshu loved following; he, who leaned at the supper upon the bosom of Jeshu, and said, My Lord, who is he that betrayeth thee?
21 Wie Petrus diesen sieht, spricht er zu Jesus: Herr, was aber soll dieser?
This when Kipha saw, he said to Jeshu, My Lord, and this, what?
22 Spricht zu ihm Jesus: Wenn Ich will, daß dieser bleibe, bis daß Ich komme, was ist das Dir? Folge du Mir nach!
Jeshu saith to him, If I will that this wait until I come, what (is that) to thee? Come thou after me.
23 Da ging denn dieses Wort aus unter die Brüder, daß dieser Jünger nicht stürbe. Und Jesus hatte ihm nicht gesagt, daß er nicht sterbe, sondern: Wenn Ich will, daß dieser bleibe, bis daß Ich komme, was ist das dir?
And that word went forth among the brethren, that that disciple dieth not. But Jeshu did not say, He dieth not, but, If I will that this (man) wait until I come, what (is that) to thee?
24 Dies ist der Jünger, der darüber zeugt und dies geschrieben hat, und wir wissen, daß sein Zeugnis wahr ist.
This is the disciple who hath testified of all these, and hath also written them: and we know that the truth is his testimony.
25 Es sind aber auch viele andere Dinge, die Jesus getan hat, welche, so man sie sollte einzeln beschreiben, erachte ich, die Welt selbst würde die Bücher nicht fassen, die zu schreiben wären.
There are also many other things which Jeshu hath done, those that if one by one they were written, not the world also itself, as I think, would suffice for the books that could be written.
