Johannes 17
1 Solches redete Jesus und hob Seine Augen auf gen Himmel und sprach: Vater, die Stunde ist gekommen. Verherrliche Deinen Sohn, auf daß auch Dein Sohn Dich verherrliche;
These spake Jeshu; and, uplifting his eyes to heaven, he said, My Father, the hour hath come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son may glorify thee.
2 Wie Du Ihm Gewalt über alles Fleisch gegeben hast, auf daß Er ewiges Leben gebe allen, die Du Ihm gegeben hast. (aiōnios g166)
As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that to all whom thou hast given him he should give the life which is eternal. (aiōnios g166)
3 Das ist aber das ewige Leben, daß sie Dich, den allein wahren Gott, und Den Du entsandt hast, Jesus Christus, erkennen. (aiōnios g166)
But this is the life which is eternal, that they know thee, who art the true Aloha, and Him whom thou hast sent, Jeshu Meshicha. (aiōnios g166)
4 Ich habe Dich auf Erden verherrlicht, Ich habe das Werk vollbracht, das Du Mir zu tun gegeben hast.
I have glorified thee on the earth; the work which thou didst give me to do, I have finished it.
5 Und nun verherrliche Mich, Du Vater, bei Dir Selbst mit der Herrlichkeit, die Ich bei Dir hatte, ehe denn die Welt war.
And now glorify thou me, my Father, with thyself, in that glory which I had with thee before the world was.
6 Ich habe Deinen Namen geoffenbart den Menschen, die Du aus der Welt Mir gegeben hast. Sie waren Dein, und Du hast sie Mir gegeben, und sie haben Dein Wort gehalten.
I have made known thy name unto the sons of man; those whom thou gavest me from the world: thine they were, and to me didst thou give them; and they have kept thy word.
7 Nun haben sie erkannt, daß alles, was Du Mir gegeben hast, von Dir ist;
Now have they known that whatsoever thou hast given me is from thee.
8 Denn die Reden, die Du Mir gegeben hast, habe Ich ihnen gegeben, und sie haben sie angenommen und wahrhaftig erkannt, daß Ich von Dir bin ausgegangen, und haben geglaubt, daß Du Mich entsandt hast.
And the words that thou gavest me I have given them, and they have received, and have known assuredly that from thee I came forth, and have believed that thou didst send me.
9 Ich bitte für sie. Nicht für die Welt bitte Ich, sondern für die, so Du Mir gegeben hast, weil sie Dein sind.
And for them I pray; not for the world I pray, but for them whom thou hast given me, because they are thine.
10 Und alles, was Mein ist, das ist Dein, und was Dein ist, das ist Mein, und Ich bin verherrlicht in ihnen.
And every thing of mine is thine, and thine is mine, and I am glorified in them.
11 Und Ich bin nicht mehr in der Welt, und sie sind in der Welt; und Ich komme zu Dir. Heiliger Vater, erhalte sie in Deinem Namen, die Du Mir gegeben hast, daß sie eins seien, gleichwie Wir.
Henceforth I am not in the world; but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them through thy name, that (name) which thou hast given to me, that they may be one as we are.
12 Solange Ich bei ihnen war in der Welt, erhielt Ich sie in Deinem Namen; die Du Mir gegeben hast, habe Ich bewahrt, und ist keiner von ihnen verloren, als der Sohn des Verderbens, auf daß die Schrift erfüllt würde.
While I was with them in the world, I kept them through thy name: those whom thou gavest me I have kept, and a man of them is not lost, but the son of perdition, that the scripture may be fulfilled.
13 Nun aber komme Ich zu Dir, und rede solches in der Welt, damit sie Meine Freude erfüllt in Sich haben.
BUT now I come to thee, and these (things) I speak in the world, that they may have my joy completed in themselves.
14 Ich habe ihnen Dein Wort gegeben, und die Welt haßt sie, weil sie nicht aus der Welt sind, wie Ich nicht aus der Welt bin.
I have given them thy word, and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, as I am not of the world.
15 Ich bitte nicht, daß Du sie aus der Welt wegnehmest, sondern daß Du sie erhaltest vor dem Übel.
Not that thou wouldest take them out of the world do I pray, but that thou wouldest keep them from the evil;
16 Sie sind nicht aus der Welt, gleichwie Ich nicht aus der Welt bin.
for they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Heilige sie in Deiner Wahrheit! Dein Wort ist Wahrheit.
Father, sanctify them through thy truth; for thy word is truth.
18 Wie Du Mich in die Welt entsandt hast, habe auch Ich sie in die Welt entsandt.
As me thou hast sent into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
19 Und für sie heilige Ich Mich, auf daß auch sie geheiligt seien in der Wahrheit.
And for their sakes I consecrate myself, that they also may be consecrated for the truth.
20 Aber nicht für diese allein bitte Ich, sondern auch für die, so durch ihr Wort an Mich glauben werden:
Nor for these do I pray only, but also for those who shall believe in me through their word;
21 Auf daß alle eins seien, wie Du, Vater, in Mir und Ich in Dir, daß auch sie in Uns eins seien, auf daß die Welt glaube, daß Du Mich entsandt hast.
that they all may be one, as thou, my Father, (art) in me, and I in thee, that they also in us one may be; that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 Und die Herrlichkeit, die Du Mir gegeben hast, habe Ich ihnen gegeben; auf daß sie eins seien, wie Wir eins sind.
And the glory which thou hast given me have I given unto them, that they may be one as we are one;
23 Ich in ihnen, und Du in Mir; auf daß sie vollendet seien in eins, und daß die Welt erkenne, daß Du Mich entsandt und sie geliebt hast, wie Du Mich geliebt hast.
I in them, and thou in me, that they may be perfected in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and that thou hast loved them, as me also thou hast loved.
24 Vater, Ich will, daß, wo Ich bin, auch die bei Mir seien, die Du Mir gegeben hast, auf daß sie Meine Herrlichkeit schauen, die Du Mir gegeben hast, weil Du vor Gründung der Welt Mich geliebt hast.
Father, those whom thou hast given I will that where I am they also may be with me, that they may see that glory of mine, which thou hast given to me; for thou lovedst me before the foundations of the world.
25 Gerechter Vater! und die Welt hat Dich nicht erkannt; Ich aber habe Dich erkannt, und diese haben erkannt, daß Du Mich entsandt hast.
My righteous Father, the world hath not known thee; but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
26 Und Ich habe ihnen Deinen Namen kundgetan und werde ihn kundtun, auf daß die Liebe, mit der Du Mich geliebt hast, in ihnen sei, und Ich in ihnen.
And I have made known unto them thy name, and I make it known that the love itself, wherewith thou hast loved me, may be in them, and I may be in them.
