Jeremia 25
1 Das Wort, welches geschah an Jirmejahu über alles Volk Jehudahs im vierten Jahre Jehojakims, des Sohnes Joschijahus, König von Judah, welches ist das erste Jahr Nebuchadrezzars, des Königs von Babel;
The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, that was the first year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon;
2 Das Jirmejahu, der Prophet, redete zu allem Volk Jehudahs und zu allen Bewohnern Jerusalems, sprechend:
which Jeremiah the prophet spoke unto all the people of Judah, and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying:
3 Von dem dreizehnten Jahre Joschijahus, des Sohnes Amons, König von Judah an und bis auf diesen Tag, diese dreiundzwanzig Jahre her ist das Wort Jehovahs an mich geschehen, und ich redete früh aufstehend und redend, und ihr habt nicht gehört.
From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, even unto this day, these three and twenty years, the word of the LORD hath come unto me, and I have spoken unto you, speaking betimes and often; but ye have not hearkened.
4 Und Jehovah sandte an euch alle seine Knechte, die Propheten, früh aufstehend und sendend, ihr aber habt sie nicht gehört, und euer Ohr nicht geneigt, auf daß ihr hörtet.
And the LORD hath sent unto you all His servants the prophets, sending them betimes and often — but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear —
5 Sie sprachen: Kehret doch zurück, jeder Mann von seinem bösen Wege und von der Bosheit eurer Taten, und ihr sollt auf dem Boden, den Jehovah euch und euren Vätern gegeben hat, von Ewigkeit und bis zu Ewigkeit wohnen.
saying: 'Return ye now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the LORD hath given unto you and to your fathers, for ever and ever;
6 Und gehet keinen anderen Göttern nach, ihnen zu dienen und sie anzubeten, daß ihr Mich nicht reizet durch eurer Hände Tun, euch Böses zu tun.
and go not after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke Me not with the work of your hands, and I will do you no hurt.'
7 Ihr aber hörtet nicht auf Mich, spricht Jehovah, daß ihr Mich reiztet durch eurer Hände Tun, euch Böses zu tun.
Yet ye have not hearkened unto Me, saith the LORD; that ye might provoke Me with the work of your hands to your own hurt.
8 Darum, so spricht Jehovah der Heerscharen: Weil ihr nicht auf Meine Worte hörtet,
Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts: Because ye have not heard My words,
9 Siehe, so sende Ich aus und nehme alle Familien der Mitternacht, spricht Jehovah, und Nebuchadrezzar, Babels König, Meinen Knecht, und bringe sie herein wider dieses Land und wider seine Bewohner, und wider alle diese Völkerschaften ringsumher; daß Ich sie verbanne und setze sie zur Wüstenei und zum Gezisch und zu ewigen Verödungen.
behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, saith the LORD, and I will send unto Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, My servant, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about; and I will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and a hissing, and perpetual desolations.
10 Und Ich will von ihnen vergehen lassen die Stimme der Freude und die Stimme der Fröhlichkeit, die Stimme des Bräutigams und die Stimme der Braut, die Stimme der Mühle und das Licht der Lampe.
Moreover I will cause to cease from among them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the lamp.
11 Und dieses ganze Land wird zur Öde und zur Wüstenei werden; und sollen diese Völkerschaften dem König Babels siebzig Jahre dienen.
And this whole land shall be a desolation, and a waste; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.
12 Und es wird geschehen, wenn siebzig Jahre voll sind, daß Ich heimsuche an Babels König und an jener Völkerschaft, spricht Jehovah, ihre Missetat und an der Chaldäer Land, und Ich setze sie zu ewigen Wüsteneien.
And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the LORD, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans; and I will make it perpetual desolations.
13 Und Ich bringe über dieses Land herein alle Meine Worte, die Ich über dasselbe geredet, alles, was in diesem Buch geschrieben ist, das Jirmejahu über alle Völkerschaften geweissagt hat.
And I will bring upon that land all My words which I have pronounced against it, even all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah hath prophesied against all the nations.
14 Denn die vielen Völkerschaften und großen Könige sollen sie dienstbar machen, auch sie, und nach ihrem Werke und ihrer Hände Tun vergelte Ich ihnen.
For many nations and great kings shall make bondmen of them also; and I will recompense them according to their deeds, and according to the work of their own hands.
15 Denn also spricht zu mir Jehovah, der Gott Israels: Nimm diesen Becher Wein des Grimmes aus Meiner Hand, und lasse daraus trinken alle Völkerschaften, zu denen Ich dich senden werde;
For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, unto me: Take this cup of the wine of fury at My hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it.
16 Auf daß sie trinken und schwanken und rasen vor dem Schwerte, das Ich sende unter sie.
And they shall drink, and reel to and fro, and be like madmen, because of the sword that I will send among them. —
17 Und ich nahm den Becher aus der Hand Jehovahs und ließ trinken alle Völkerschaften, zu denen mich Jehovah sendete.
Then took I the cup of the LORD'S hand, and made all the nations to drink, unto whom the LORD had sent me:
18 Jerusalem und Jehudahs Städte, und ihre Könige und ihre Obersten, sie zu geben zur Verödung, zur Wüstenei, zum Gezisch und zum Fluch, wie an diesem Tag;
Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them an appalment, an astonishment, a hissing, and a curse; as it is this day;
19 Den Pharao, Ägyptens König, und seine Knechte und seine Obersten und all sein Volk:
Pharaoh king of Egypt, and his servants, and his princes, and all his people;
20 Und alle gegen Abend und alle Könige des Landes Uz, und alle Könige des Landes der Philister, und Aschkalon und Gazah und Ekron und Aschdods Überrest;
and all the mingled people; and all the kings of the land of Uz, and all the kings of the land of the Philistines, and Ashkelon, and Gaza, and Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod;
21 Edom und Moab und Ammons Söhne;
Edom, and Moab, and the children of Ammon;
22 Und alle Könige von Zor und alle Könige von Zidon, und die Könige der Inseln, die jenseits des Meeres sind;
and all the kings of Tyre, and all the kings of Zidon, and the kings of the isle which is beyond the sea;
23 Dedan und Thema und Bus und alle, welche die Ecke stutzen;
Dedan, and Tema, and Buz, and all that have the corners of their hair polled;
24 Und alle Könige Arabiens und alle Könige des Abends, die in der Wüste wohnen.
and all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the mingled people that dwell in the wilderness;
25 Und alle Könige von Simri und alle Könige von Elam und alle Könige Madais;
and all the kings of Zimri, and all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of the Medes;
26 Und alle Könige von Mitternacht, die nahen und die fernen, den Mann zu seinem Bruder, und alle Königreiche der Erde, die auf der Oberfläche des Bodens sind, und nach ihnen soll König Scheschach trinken.
and all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another; and all the kingdoms of the world, which are upon the face of the earth. — And the king of Sheshach shall drink after them.
27 Und sprich zu ihnen: So spricht Jehovah der Heerscharen, der Gott Israels: Trinket und werdet trunken, und speiet und fallet und stehet nicht auf vor dem Schwerte, das Ich sende unter euch.
And thou shalt say unto them: Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Drink ye, and be drunken, and spew, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.
28 Und wenn geschieht, daß sie sich weigern, den Becher aus deiner Hand zu nehmen, zu trinken, so sprich zu ihnen: Also spricht Jehovah der Heerscharen: Ihr sollt gewißlich trinken.
And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thy hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them: Thus saith the LORD of hosts: Ye shall surely drink.
29 Denn siehe, der Stadt, über der Mein Name genannt wird, fange Ich an, Übles anzutun. Und ihr, ihr wollt straflos sein? Ihr sollt nicht straflos sein! Denn Ich rufe ein Schwert über alle Bewohner der Erde, spricht Jehovah der Heerscharen.
For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city whereupon My name is called, and should ye be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished; for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the LORD of hosts.
30 Und du, weissage über sie alle diese Worte und sprich zu ihnen: Jehovah brüllt aus der Höhe und gibt Seine Stimme hervor aus der Wohnstätte Seiner Heiligkeit; Er brüllt wider Seinen Wohnort, antwortet im Kelterlied wie die Keltertreter, allen, so auf Erden wohnen.
Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them: The LORD doth roar from on high, and utter His voice from His holy habitation; He doth mightily roar because of His fold; He giveth a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth.
31 Es kommt ein Tosen bis ans Ende der Erde; denn im Hader ist Jehovah mit den Völkerschaften. Er richtet alles Fleisch. Die Ungerechten - Er gibt sie dem Schwerte, spricht Jehovah.
A noise is come even to the end of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, He doth plead with all flesh; as for the wicked, He hath given them to the sword, saith the LORD.
32 So spricht Jehovah der Heerscharen: Siehe, Böses zieht aus von Völkerschaft zu Völkerschaft, ein großes Wetter wird erweckt von der Erde Seiten.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts: Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great storm shall be raised up from the uttermost parts of the earth.
33 Und die Erschlagenen Jehovahs sind an jenem Tag von einem Ende der Erde bis zum anderen Ende der Erde; sie werden nicht beklagt, noch gesammelt, noch begraben, sie werden zu Dünger auf der Fläche des Bodens.
And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth; they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the face of the ground.
34 Heulet, ihr Hirten und schreiet, wälzet euch umher ihr Stattlichen der Herde, denn eure Tage zum Schlachten sind erfüllt, und Ich zerschelle euch und ihr fallet wie ein köstliches Gefäß.
Wail, ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves in the dust, ye leaders of the flock; for the days of your slaughter are fully come, and I will break you in pieces, and ye shall fall like a precious vessel.
35 Und die Zuflucht vergeht für die Hirten, und das Entkommen für die Stattlichen der Herde.
And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the leaders of the flock to escape.
36 Die Stimme des Schreiens der Hirten! und ein Heulen von den Stattlichen der Herde; denn ihre Weide hat verheert Jehovah.
Hark! the cry of the shepherds, and the wailing of the leaders of the flock! For the LORD despoileth their pasture.
37 Und von der Glut des Zornes Jehovahs gehen unter die Hürden des Friedens.
And the peaceable folds are brought to silence because of the fierce anger of the LORD.
38 Verlassen hat Er Seine Hütte wie der junge Löwe; denn eine Wüstenei ist ihr Land geworden vor der Glut des Bedrückers und vor der Glut seines Zornes.
He hath forsaken His covert, as the lion; for their land is become a waste because of the fierceness of the oppressing sword, and because of His fierce anger.
