Jesaja 65
1 Ich werde erfragt von denen, die nicht gefragt haben, Ich werde gefunden von denen, so nicht nach Mir gesucht. Ich spreche: Hier bin Ich! Hier bin Ich! zu einer Völkerschaft, die nicht nach Meinem Namen ist genannt.
I have heard those that made no supplication; I have been found by those who sought me not; I said, Here I am, here I am, To a people that called not upon my name.
2 Den ganzen Tag breite Ich Meine Hände aus nach einem störrischen Volk, das auf einem nicht guten Weg wandelt nach seinen Gedanken.
I have spread out my hands all the day To a rebellious people, That walketh in an evil way, According to their own devices;
3 Ein Volk, das Mich reizt, ist beständig vor Meinem Angesicht. Sie opfern in den Gärten und räuchern auf den Ziegelsteinen.
To a people that provoke me to my face continually; That sacrifice in gardens, And burn incense on tiles;
4 Sie sitzen in den Gräbern und übernachten in abgeschlossenen Orten. Sie essen Fleisch des Schweigens, und Stücke des Abscheus sind in ihren Gefäßen.
That sit in sepulchres, And lodge in caverns; That eat swine's flesh, And have broth of unclean things in their vessels;
5 Sie sprechen: Bleibe für Dich!, tritt nicht her zu mir, denn ich bin zu heilig für Dich. Solche sind ein Rauch in Meiner Nase, ein Feuer, das den ganzen Tag lodert.
Who yet say: Stand by thyself! come not near to me, For I am holier than thou! These are a smoke in my nose, A fire that burneth continually.
6 Siehe, geschrieben ist es vor Mir: Ich schweige nicht, sondern vergelte, und vergelte in ihren Busen.
Behold, it stands recorded before me; I will not keep silence, but will requite; I will requite it into their bosoms;
7 Eure Missetaten und die Missetaten eurer Väter allzumal, spricht Jehovah, die auf den Bergen räucherten und Mich schmähten auf den Hügeln; daß Ich maß ihren früheren Arbeitslohn in ihren Busen.
Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith Jehovah, Who burnt incense on the mountains, And dishonored me on the hills, I will pour the full recompense of their former deeds into their bosom.
8 So spricht Jehovah: Wie Most in der Traube wird gefunden und man spricht: Verdirb sie nicht, weil Segen darin ist, so will Ich tun, um Meiner Knechte willen, daß Ich nicht alles will verderben.
Thus saith Jehovah: As when juice is found in a cluster, Men say, “Destroy it not, for a blessing is in it”; So will I do, for the sake of my servants, and will not destroy the whole;
9 Und laß von Jakob ausgehen einen Samen, und von Jehudah den, der erblich besitze Meine Berge; und erblich besitzen sollen es Meine Auserwählten, und Meine Knechte allda wohnen.
I will cause a stem to spring forth from Jacob, And from Judah a possessor of my mountains; My chosen shall possess the land, And my servants shall dwell there.
10 Und Scharon soll der Schafherde zur Hürde und der Talgrund Achor den Rindern zur Lagerung werden für Mein Volk, das nach Mir hat gefragt!
And Sharon shall be a fold for flocks, And the valley of Achor a resting-place for herds, For my people that have sought me.
11 Ihr aber, die ihr Jehovah verlassen, die ihr vergessen habt den Berg Meiner Heiligkeit, die ihr den Tisch zurichtet für Gad und dem Meni ein Trankopfer füllet:
But ye, who have forsaken Jehovah, And have forgotten my holy mountain, That prepare a table for Fortune, And fill the cup for Destiny,
12 So will Ich euch berechnen für das Schwert, daß ihr euch alle zur Schlachtung beugt, weil Ich rief und ihr nicht antwortetet, Ich redete und ihr nicht hörtet; und ihr tut, was böse ist in Meinen Augen, und woran Ich keine Lust habe, das wählet ihr aus.
Yourselves do I destine to the sword, And all of you shall bow down before the slaughter; Because I called, and ye answered not, I spake, and ye would not hear, But did that which is evil in my sight, And chose that in which I had no delight.
13 Darum spricht so der Herr Jehovah: Siehe, Meine Knechte sollen essen und ihr sollt hungern; siehe, Meine Knechte sollen trinken und ihr sollt dürsten; siehe, Meine Knechte sollen fröhlich sein und ihr sollt euch schämen.
Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, my servants shall eat, and ye shall be hungry; Behold, my servants shall drink, and ye shall be thirsty; Behold, my servants shall rejoice, and ye shall be confounded;
14 Siehe, Meine Knechte sollen vor Wohlsein des Herzens jubeln, ihr aber schreien vor Herzeleid und heulen vor Zerbrochenheit des Geistes.
Behold, my servants shall sing for gladness of heart, But ye shall shriek for sorrow of heart, And howl for anguish of spirit.
15 Und euren Namen sollt ihr Meinen Auserwählten zum Schwur hinterlassen, dich aber wird der Herr Jehovah töten, und Seine Knechte mit einem anderen Namen nennen.
And ye shall leave your name for a curse to my chosen, And the Lord Jehovah shall slay you; But his servants will he call by another name.
16 So daß, wer sich im Lande segnet, sich segne in dem Gott der Wahrheit, und wer im Lande schwört, bei dem Gott der Wahrheit schwören wird; denn vergessen sind die früheren Drangsale und verborgen vor Meinen Augen!
Whoso blesseth himself in the land Shall bless by the true God; And he that sweareth in the land shall swear by the true God; For the former troubles are forgotten, And they are hid from mine eyes.
17 Denn siehe, Ich schaffe neue Himmel und eine neue Erde, und der früheren wird man nicht mehr gedenken, noch werden sie ins Herz aufsteigen.
For behold! I create new heavens, and a new earth; The former ones shall not be remembered, Nor shall they be brought to mind any more.
18 Sondern freuen sollen sie sich und frohlocken fort und fort über dem, was Ich schaffe. Denn siehe, Jerusalem will Ich zum Frohlocken erschaffen und sein Volk zur Freude.
But ye shall be glad and exult forever In that which I create; For behold! I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, And her people a joy.
19 Und Ich will frohlocken ob Jerusalems, und ob Meines Volkes Mich freuen; und nicht soll man mehr hören in ihr die Stimme des Weinens, noch die Stimme des Geschreis.
And I will exult in Jerusalem, And rejoice in my people; No more shall be heard therein The voice of weeping and the cry of distress.
20 Nicht wird von dort ein Kindlein der Tage sein, noch ein Alter, der seine Tage nicht erfüllt; denn der Junge wird sterben hundert Jahre alt, und der Sünder wird verflucht werden hundert Jahre alt.
There shall not be there an infant child, nor an old man, That hath not filled the measure of his years; For he that dieth a hundred years old shall die a youth, And the sinner dying a hundred years old shall be held accursed.
21 Und sie werden Häuser bauen und darin wohnen, und Weinberge pflanzen und essen ihre Frucht.
They shall build houses, and inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them;
22 Sie werden nicht bauen und ein anderer darin wohnen, nicht pflanzen, und ein anderer essen; denn Meines Volkes Tage werden wie die Tage des Baumes sein, und ihrer Hände Werk werden altern lassen Meine Auserwählte.
They shall not build, and another inhabit; They shall not plant, and another eat; For as the days of a tree shall be the days of my people, Yea, long shall my chosen enjoy the work of their hands.
23 Nicht sollen sie vergeblich sich bemühen und nicht zeugen für die Bestürzung; denn ein Same der Gesegneten Jehovahs sind sie, und ihre Sprößlinge mit ihnen.
They shall not labor in vain, Nor bring forth children for early death; For they are a race blessed by Jehovah, And their offspring shall remain to them.
24 Und wird geschehen, daß, ehe sie rufen, Ich antworte; noch reden sie, da höre Ich es.
Before they call, I will answer; And while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
25 Wolf und Lamm sollen weiden als eines, und der Löwe soll Stroh fressen wie das Rind, und der Schlange Brot soll der Staub sein. Sie sollen nichts Böses tun und nichts verderben auf dem ganzen Berg Meiner Heiligkeit, spricht Jehovah.
The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, And the lion shall eat straw like the ox, And dust shall be the food of the serpent. They shall not hurt, nor destroy, in all my holy mountain, Saith Jehovah.
