Jesaja 63
1 Wer ist Der, so von Edom kommt in bespritzten Kleidern, von Bozrah, Der geehrt ist in Seinem Anzug, einherschreitet in Seiner vielen Kraft? Ich, Der da rede in Gerechtigkeit, groß im Retten.
Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah, this who is glorious in his apparel, marching in the greatness of his strength? I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
2 Warum ist es an Deinem Anzuge rot? Und Deine Kleider wie eines, der die Kelter tritt?
Why are thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him who treads in the wine vat?
3 Das Kelterfaß trat Ich allein und von den Völkern war kein Mann mit Mir, und Ich trat sie in Meinem Zorn und zerstampfte sie in Meinem Grimm, und ihr Sieg ist gespritzt auf Meine Kleider, und all Meinen Anzug befleckte Ich.
I have trodden the winepress alone, and of the peoples there was no man with me. Yea, I trod them in my anger, and trampled them in my wrath, and their lifeblood is sprinkled upon my garments, and I have stained all my raiment.
4 Denn der Tag der Rache ist in Meinem Herzen; und das Jahr Meiner Erlösten ist gekommen.
For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redeemed has come.
5 Und Ich blickte, und da war kein Beistand, und Ich staunte, und es war da kein Anhalt. Und Mein Arm ward Mir zum Heil, und Mein Grimm, der Mir ward zum Anhalt.
And I looked, and there was none to help. And I wondered that there was none to uphold. Therefore my own arm brought salvation to me. And my wrath, it upheld me.
6 Und Ich zertrat die Völker in Meinem Zorn und machte sie trunken in Meinem Grimm, und brachte zur Erde herab ihren Sieg.
And I trod down the peoples in my anger, and made them drunk in my wrath, and I poured out their lifeblood on the earth.
7 Jehovahs Barmherzigkeit gedenke ich, des Lobes Jehovahs, nach allem, das uns Jehovah erwiesen hat, und das viele Gute an dem Haus Israels, das Er nach Seinen Erbarmungen und Seiner vielen Barmherzigkeit hat erwiesen.
I will make mention of the loving kindnesses of Jehovah, and the praises of Jehovah, according to all that Jehovah has bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he has bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.
8 Und Er sprach: Fürwahr, Mein Volk sind sie, sind Söhne, die nicht lügen; und Er ward ihnen zum Heiland.
For he said, Surely, they are my people, sons that will not deal falsely. So he was their Savior.
9 In aller ihrer Drangsal ward Er bedrängt, und der Engel Seines Angesichtes rettete sie. Ob Seiner Liebe und Seines Mitleides erlöste Er sie, und hob sie empor und trug sie alle Tage der Urzeit.
In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the agent of his presence saved them. In his love and in his pity he redeemed them. And he bore them, and carried them all the days of old.
10 Aber sie waren widerspenstig und betrübten den Geist Seiner Heiligkeit; und Er ward ihnen gewandelt zum Feind, Er Selber stritt wider sie.
But they rebelled, and grieved his holy Spirit. Therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and himself fought against them.
11 Und Er gedachte der Ewigkeit Tage, an Mose, Sein Volk. Wo ist Er, Der sie aus dem Meer heraufgeführt, mit dem Hirten Seiner Herde, wo ist Er, Der den Geist Seiner Heiligkeit in ihre Mitte hat gelegt.
Then he remembered the days of old, Moses and his people, saying, Where is he who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? Where is he who put his holy Spirit in the midst of them,
12 Der gehen ließ zur Rechten Moses Seinen Arm des Ruhms, Der vor ihnen die Wasser spaltete, um einen Namen für Sich zu machen in Ewigkeit.
who caused his glorious arm to go at the right hand of Moses, who divided the waters before them, to make himself an everlasting name,
13 Der durch die Abgründe sie gehen ließ, wie das Roß in der Wüste; sie strauchelten nicht.
who led them through the depths, as a horse in the wilderness, so that they stumbled not?
14 Wie in das Tal das Vieh herniedersteigt, brachte sie Jehovahs Geist zur Ruhe. Also geleitetest Du dein Volk, um Dir einen Namen des Ruhmes zu machen.
As the cattle that go down into the valley, the Spirit of Jehovah caused them to rest. So thou led thy people to make thyself a glorious name.
15 Blicke vom Himmel, und siehe aus dem Wohnort Deiner Heiligkeit und Deines Schmuckes. Wo ist Dein Eifer und Deine Macht? Die Regung Deiner Eingeweide und Deine Erbarmungen gegen mich sind anhaltend.
Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory. Where are thy zeal and thy mighty acts? The yearning of thy heart and thy compassions are restrained toward me.
16 Denn Du bist unser Vater; denn Abraham weiß nicht von uns und Israel erkennt uns nicht. Du, Jehovah, bist unser Vater, unser Erlöser; von Ewigkeit ist Dein Name.
For thou are our Father, though Abraham knows us not, and Israel does not acknowledge us, thou, O Jehovah, are our Father, our Redeemer, from everlasting is thy name.
17 Warum Jehovah, ließest Du uns von deinen Wegen irren, verhärten unser Herz, daß wir Dich nicht fürchteten? Kehre zurück um Deiner Knechte willen, um der Stämme Deines Erbes.
O Jehovah, why do thou make us to err from thy ways, and harden our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants' sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.
18 Um ein Winziges, so hätten sie das Volk Deiner Heiligkeit besessen, da zertraten unsere Dränger Dein Heiligtum.
Thy holy people possessed it but a little while. Our adversaries have trodden down thy sanctuary.
19 Wir sind, als ob Du von Ewigkeit her nicht über uns geherrscht, als ob wir nicht nach Deinem Namen genannt wären.
We have become as those over whom thou never bore rule, as those who were not called by thy name.
