Jesaja 56
1 So spricht Jehovah: Haltet das Recht und tut Gerechtigkeit; denn nahe ist Mein Heil zu kommen, und sich zu offenbaren Meine Gerechtigkeit.
Thus saith Jehovah: Keep ye judgment and do righteousness; for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
2 Gesegnet der Mann, der solches tut, und des Menschen Sohn, der daran festhält; der den Sabbath hält, auf daß er ihn nicht entweihe; der Seine Hand hält, auf daß sie kein Böses tue.
Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that holdeth fast to it; that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.
3 Und der Sohn des Auslandes, der Jehovah anhängt, sage nicht: Jehovah scheidet mich von Seinem Volk, nicht soll der Verschnittene sagen: Siehe, ich bin ein trocken Holz.
And let not the son of the alien, that hath joined himself to Jehovah, speak saying, Jehovah hath entirely separated me from his people; neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree;
4 Denn also spricht Jehovah zu den Verschnittenen: Die, so Meine Sabbathe halten, und erwählen, woran Ich Lust habe, und meinen Bund festhalten,
for thus saith Jehovah: Unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and hold fast to my covenant,
5 So will Ich ihnen in Meinem Haus und in Meinen Mauern eine Stätte und einen Namen geben, besser als Söhne und als Töchter; einen ewigen Namen will Ich ihm geben, der nicht soll ausgerottet werden.
even unto them will I give in my house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
6 Und die Söhne des Auslandes, die Jehovah anhangen, daß sie Ihm Dienst tun und Jehovahs Namen lieben, daß sie Ihm Knechte seien, sie alle, die den Sabbath halten, daß sie ihn nicht entweihen, und die fest an Meinem Bunde halten.
Also the sons of the alien, that join themselves to Jehovah, to minister unto him and to love the name of Jehovah, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and holdeth fast to my covenant;
7 So will Ich sie bringen zum Berg Meiner Heiligkeit und lassen fröhlich sein in Meinem Bethaus, ihre Brandopfer und Schlachtopfer auf Meinem Altare sollen wohlgefällig sein: denn Mein Haus soll man ein Bethaus nennen für alle Völker.
even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer; their burnt-offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar: for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all the peoples.
8 Der Herr Jehovah spricht, Der die Verstoßenen Israels zusammenbringt: Ich will noch mehr zu ihm zusammenbringen, zu seinen Zusammengebrachten.
The Lord Jehovah, who gathereth the outcasts of Israel, saith: Yet will I gather [others] to him, with those of his that are gathered.
9 Alles wilde Tier des Feldes komme zum Fraß, alles wilde Tier des Waldes.
All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, all ye beasts in the forest.
10 All seine Wächter sind blind, sie alle wissen nichts, sie alle sind stumme Hunde, die nicht bellen können, sie schauen umher, sie liegen, sie lieben den Schlummer.
His watchmen are all of them blind, they are without knowledge; they are all dumb dogs that cannot bark, dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber:
11 Und die Hunde sind von verstockter Seele, wissen nichts von Sättigung, und sie, die Hirten, wissen nichts von Einsicht, sie alle wenden sich auf ihren eigenen Weg, jeder Man von seinem Ende, seinem Gewinne zu.
and the dogs are greedy, they know not to be satisfied, and these are shepherds that know not how to discern: they all turn to their own way, every one for his gain, even to the last of them:
12 Kommt, Ich will Wein nehmen und zechen lasset uns in starkem Getränk, und morgen soll es sein wie an diesem Tage, in sehr großem Überfluß.
Come, [say they, ] I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to-morrow shall be as this day, [and] much more abundant.
