1 Mose 25
1 Und Abraham nahm wieder ein Weib, und ihr Name war Keturah.
Forsothe Abraham weddide another wijf, Ceture bi name,
2 Und sie gebar ihm Simran und Jokschan und Medan und Midjan und Jischbak und Schuach.
which childide to him Samram, and Jexan, and Madan, and Madian, and Jesboth, and Sue.
3 Und Jokschan zeugte Scheba und Dedan, und die Söhne Dedans waren die Aschurim und die Letuschim und die Leumim.
Also Jexan gendride Saba and Dadan. Forsothe the sones of Dadan weren Asurym, and Lathusym, and Laomym.
4 Und die Söhne Midjans waren Ephah und Epher und Chanoch und Abidah und Eldaah. Alle diese waren Söhne Keturahs.
And sotheli of Madian was borun Efa, and Ofer, and Enoth, and Abida, and Heldaa; alle these weren the sones of Cethure.
5 Und Abraham gab all das Seine dem Isaak.
And Abraham yaf alle thingis whiche he hadde in possessioun to Isaac;
6 Und den Söhnen der Kebsweiber, die Abraham hatte, gab Abraham Gaben, und entsandte sie weg von seinem Sohne Isaak, noch während er lebte, gegen Osten, in das Land des Ostens.
sotheli he yaf yiftis to the sones of concubyns; and Abraham, while he lyuede yit, departide hem fro Ysaac, his sone, to the eest coost.
7 Und dies sind die Tage der Jahre des Lebens Abrahams, die er lebte: hundert Jahre und siebzig Jahre und fünf Jahre.
Forsothe the daies of lijf of Abraham weren an hundrid and `fyue and seuenti yeer;
8 Und Abraham verschied und starb in gutem Greisenalter, alt und satt, und ward zu seinen Völkern versammelt.
and he failide, and diede in good eelde, and of greet age, and ful of daies, and he was gaderid to his puple.
9 Und es begruben ihn Isaak und Ismael, seine Söhne, in die Höhle Machpelah, nach dem Felde Ephrons, des Sohnes Zochar, des Chethiters, das ob dem Angesichte von Mamre ist.
And Ysaac and Ismael, his sones, birieden him in the double denne, which is set in the feeld of Efron, sone of Seor Ethei,
10 Auf dem Felde, das Abraham von den Söhnen Chets erworben, da ward Abraham und Sarah, sein Weib, begraben.
euene ayens Mambre, which denne he bouyte of the sones of Heth; and he was biried there, and Sare his wijf.
11 Und es geschah nach dem Tode Abrahams, daß Gott segnete Isaak, seinen Sohn; und Isaak wohnte bei dem Brunnen Lachai-Roi.
And aftir the deeth of Abraham God blesside Isaac his sone, which dwellide bisidis the pit bi name of hym that lyueth and seeth.
12 Und dies sind die Geburten Ismaels, des Sohnes Abrahams, den Hagar die Ägypterin, die Dienstmagd Sarahs, dem Abraham gebar.
These ben the generaciouns of Ismael, sone of Abraham, whom Agar Egipcian, seruauntesse of Sare, childide to Abraham;
13 Und dies sind die Namen der Söhne Ismaels in ihren Namen nach ihren Geburten: der Erstgeborene Ismaels Nebajoth, und Kedar und Adbeel und Mibsam.
and these ben the names of the sones of Ismael, in her names and generaciouns. The firste gendride of Ismael was Nabaioth, aftirward Cedar, and Abdeel, and Mabsan,
14 Und Mischma und Dumah und Massa.
and Masma, and Duma, and Massa,
15 Chadar und Thema, Jetur, Naphisch und Kedmah.
and Adad, and Thema, and Ithur, and Nafir, and Cedma.
16 Dies sind sie, die Söhne Ismaels, und dies ihre Namen in ihren Gehöften und in ihren Zeltlagern zwölf Fürsten ihrer Volksstämme.
These weren the sones of Ismael, and these weren names by castels and townes of hem, twelue princes of her lynagis.
17 Und dies sind die Jahre des Lebens Ismaels: hundert Jahre und dreißig Jahre und sieben Jahre. Und er verschied und starb, und ward zu seinen Völkern versammelt.
And the yeeris of lijf of Ismael weren maad an hundrid and seuene and thretti, and he failide, and diede, and was put to his puple.
18 Und sie wohnten von Chavilah bis Schur, das ob den Angesichten Ägyptens ist, wenn man nach Aschur kommt; vor allen seinen Brüdern fiel er.
Forsothe he enhabitide fro Euila til to Sur, that biholdith Egipt, as me entrith in to Assiriens; he diede bifore alle his britheren.
19 Und dies sind die Geburten Isaaks des Sohnes Abrahams: Abraham zeugte Isaak.
Also these ben the generaciouns of Ysaac sone of Abraham. Abraham gendride Isaac,
20 Und Isaak war vierzig Jahre alt als er Rebekah, die Tochter Bethuels, des Aramiten von Padan Aram, die Schwester Labans, des Aramiten, sich zum Weibe nahm.
and whanne Isaac was of fourti yeer, he weddide a wijf, Rebecca, douyter of Batuel, of Sirie of Mesopotanye, the sistir of Laban.
21 Und Isaak flehte wegen seines Weibes zu Jehovah; denn sie war unfruchtbar, und Jehovah ließ sich von ihm erflehen, und Rebekah, sein Weib, empfing.
And Isaac bisouyte the Lord for his wijf, for sche was bareyn; and the Lord herde him, and yaf conseiuyng to Rebecca.
22 Und die Stöhne stießen sich in ihrer Mitte, und sie sprach: Wenn dem so ist, warum bin ich so? Und sie ging Jehovah zu fragen.
But the litle children weren hurtlid togidre in hir wombe; and sche seide, If it was so to comynge to me, what nede was it to conseyue? And sche yede and axide counsel of the Lord,
23 Und Jehovah sprach zu ihr: Zwei Völkerschaften sind in deinem Leibe, und zwei Volksstämme werden sich aus deinen Eingeweiden trennen; und ein Volksstamm wird stärker als der andere Volksstamm und der Große wird dem Kleinen dienen.
which answerde, and seide, Twei folkis ben in thi wombe, and twei puplis schulen be departid fro thi wombe, and a puple schal ouercome a puple, and the more schal serue the lesse.
24 Und die Tage erfüllten sich, daß sie gebären sollte, und siehe Zwillinge waren in ihrem Leibe.
Thanne the tyme of childberyng cam, and lo! twei children weren foundun in hir wombe.
25 Und der erste kam heraus, ganz rötlich, wie ein haariger Mantel, und sie nannten seinen Namen Esau.
He that yede out first was reed, and al rouy in the manere of a skyn; and his name was clepid Esau.
26 Und nachher kam sein Bruder heraus, und seine Hand ergriff die Ferse Esaus und man nannte seinen Namen Jakob. Und Isaak war sechzig Jahre alt, da sie geboren wurden.
Anoon the tothir yede out, and helde with the hond the heele of the brother; and therfore he clepide him Jacob. Isaac was sixti yeer eeld, whanne the litle children weren borun.
27 Und die Jungen wurden groß, und Esau war ein Mann kundig der Jagd, ein Mann des Feldes; und Jakob war ein untadeliger Mann, und wohnte in den Zelten.
And whanne thei weren woxun, Esau was maad a man kunnynge of huntyng, and a man erthe tilier; forsothe Jacob was a symple man, and dwellide in tabernaclis.
28 Und Isaak liebte den Esau; denn Wildbret war in seinem Munde; und Rebekah liebte Jakob.
Isaac louyde Esau, for he eet of the huntyng of Esau; and Rebecca louyde Jacob.
29 Und Jakob kochte ein Gemüse und Esau kam vom Felde und war matt.
Sotheli Jacob sethide potage; and whanne Esau cam weri fro the feld,
30 Und Esau sprach zu Jakob: Laß mich doch von dem Roten, diesem Roten da kosten, denn ich bin matt. Deshalb nannte man seinen Namen Edom.
he seide to Jacob, Yyue thou to me of this reed sething, for Y am ful weri; for which cause his name was clepid Edom.
31 Und Jakob sprach: Verkaufe mir wie heute deine Erstgeburt.
And Jacob seide to him, Sille to me the riyt of the first gendrid childe.
32 Und Esau sagte: Siehe, ich gehe hin zu sterben, und wozu ist mir da die Erstgeburt?
He answerde, Lo! Y die, what schulen the firste gendrid thingis profite to me?
33 Und Jakob sprach: Schwöre mir wie heute; und er schwur ihm, und verkaufte seine Erstgeburt dem Jakob.
Jacob seide, therfor swere thou to me. Therfor Esau swoor, and selde the firste gendrid thingis.
34 Und Jakob gab dem Esau Brot und das Gemüse von Linsen; und er aß und trank und stand auf und ging. Und Esau verachtete die Erstgeburt.
And so whanne he hadde take breed and potage, Esau eet and drank, and yede forth, and chargide litil that he hadde seld the riyt of the firste gendrid child.
