1 Mose 2
1 Und es wurden vollendet die Himmel und die Erde und all ihr Heer.
Thus the heauens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 Und Gott vollendete am siebenten Tage Sein Werk, das Er gemacht, und feierte am siebenten Tag von all Seinem Werke, das Er gemacht.
For in the seuenth day GOD ended his worke which he had made, and the seuenth day he rested from al his worke, which he had made.
3 Und Gott segnete den siebenten Tag und heiligte ihn, weil Er an ihm feierte von all Seinem Werk, das Gott geschaffen es zu machen.
So God blessed the seuenth day, and sanctified it, because that in it he had rested from all his worke, which God had created and made.
4 Dies sind die Zeugungen der Himmel und der Erde. Als Er sie schuf am Tage, da Jehovah Gott Erde und Himmel machte,
These are the generations of the heauens and of the earth, when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heauens,
5 Und kein Gesträuch des Feldes war noch auf Erden, und kein Kraut des Feldes sproßte noch, denn Jehovah Gott hatte noch nicht auf Erden regnen lassen, und noch war kein Mensch da, den Boden zu bebauen.
And euery plant of the fielde, before it was in the earth, and euery herbe of the field, before it grewe: for the Lord God had not caused it to raine vpon the earth, neither was there a man to till the ground,
6 Und Er ließ einen Dunst aufgehen von der Erde und bewässerte alle Angesichte des Bodens.
But a myst went vp from the earth, and watered all the earth.
7 Und Jehovah Gott bildete den Menschen, Staub vom Boden und blies ihm des Lebens Odem in die Nase; und der Mensch ward zur lebendigen Seele.
The Lord God also made the man of the dust of the grounde, and breathed in his face breath of life, and the man was a liuing soule.
8 Und Jehovah Gott pflanzte in Eden vom Osten einen Garten und setzte darein den Menschen, den Er gebildet hatte.
And the Lord God planted a garden Eastward in Eden, and there he put the man whom he had made.
9 Und Jehovah Gott ließ aus dem Boden sprossen allerlei Bäume lustig anzusehen und gut zur Speise; und den Baum der Leben in der Mitte des Gartens und den Baum der Erkenntnis des Guten und des Bösen.
(For out of the ground made the Lord God to grow euery tree pleasant to the sight, and good for meate: the tree of life also in the mids of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and of euill.
10 Und von Eden ging aus ein Fluß, den Garten zu bewässern, und von da trennte er sich und ward zu vier Hauptwassern.
And out of Eden went a riuer to water the garden, and from thence it was deuided, and became into foure heads.
11 Der Name des einen ist Pischon, der umgibt das ganze Land Chavilah, wo Gold ist.
The name of one is Pishon: the same compasseth the whole land of Hauilah, where is golde.
12 Und das Gold desselbigen Landes ist gut. Daselbst ist Bdellium und der Stein Onyx.
And the golde of that land is good: there is Bdelium, and the Onix stone.
13 Und der Name des zweiten Flusses ist Gichon. Der umgibt das ganze Land Kusch.
And the name of the seconde riuer is Gihon: the same compasseth the whole lande of Cush.
14 Und der Name des dritten Flusses ist Hiddekel. Der geht östlich nach Aschur; und der vierte Fluß der ist der Phrath.
The name also of the third riuer is Hiddekel: this goeth toward the Eastside of Asshur: and the fourth riuer is Perath)
15 Und Jehovah Gott nahm den Menschen und setzte ihn nieder in dem Garten Eden, ihn zu bebauen und ihn zu hüten.
Then the Lord God tooke the man, and put him into the garden of Eden, that he might dresse it and keepe it.
16 Und Jehovah Gott gebot über ihn dem Menschen und sprach: Von jeglichem Baume im Garten darfst du essen.
And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Thou shalt eate freely of euery tree of the garden,
17 Aber vom Baume der Erkenntnis des Guten und des Bösen, von dem sollst du nicht essen; denn welches Tages du davon issest, wirst du des Todes sterben.
But of the tree of knowledge of good and euill, thou shalt not eate of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof, thou shalt die the death.
18 Und Jehovah Gott sprach: Es ist nicht gut, daß der Mensch allein sei, Ich will ihm einen Beistand machen der wie bei ihm sei.
Also the Lord God saide, It is not good that the man should be himself alone: I wil make him an helpe meete for him.
19 Und Jehovah Gott bildete aus dem Boden jegliches Getier des Feldes und alles Gevögel der Himmel und brachte sie zum Menschen, auf daß Er sähe, wie er sie nennete; und alles, was sie der Mensch nennete, die lebendige Seele, das war dessen Name.
So the Lord God formed of the earth euery beast of the fielde, and euery foule of the heauen, and brought them vnto the man to see howe he would call them: for howsoeuer the man named the liuing creature, so was the name thereof.
20 Und der Mensch nannte mit Namen alles Vieh und das Gevögel der Himmel und alles Wild des Feldes, aber für den Menschen fand Er keinen Beistand, der wie bei ihm wäre.
The man therefore gaue names vnto all cattell, and to the foule of the heauen, and to euery beast of the fielde: but for Adam founde he not an helpe meete for him.
21 Und Jehovah Gott ließ einen tiefen Schlaf auf den Menschen fallen, daß er schlief, und Er nahm eine von seinen Rippen und schloß Fleisch zu an deren Stelle.
Therefore the Lord God caused an heauie sleepe to fall vpon the man, and he slept: and he tooke one of his ribbes, and closed vp the flesh in steade thereof.
22 Und Jehovah baute die Rippe, die Er vom Menschen genommen hatte, zu einem Weibe, und brachte sie zu dem Menschen.
And the ribbe which the Lord God had taken from the man, made he a woman, and brought her to the man.
23 Und der Mensch sprach: Das ist einmal Bein von meinen Beinen, und Fleisch von meinem Fleisch. Sie soll Männin heißen; denn vom Manne ist sie genommen.
Then the man said, This now is bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh. She shalbe called woman, because she was taken out of man.
24 Darum wird der Mann seinen Vater und seine Mutter verlassen und seinem Weibe anhangen, und sie werden ein Fleisch sein.
Therefore shall man leaue his father and his mother, and shall cleaue to his wife, and they shall be one flesh.
25 Und sie waren beide nackt, der Mensch und sein Weib, und schämten sich nicht.
And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
