1 Mose 17

1 Und Abram war neunzig Jahre und neun Jahre alt, und Jehovah erschien dem Abram und sprach zu ihm: Ich bin Gott Schaddai, wandle vor Mir und sei untadelig.

When Abram was ninetie yeere olde and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said vnto him, I am God all sufficient. walke before me, and be thou vpright,

2 Und Ich will Meinen Bund geben zwischen Mir und zwischen dir und dich gar sehr vermehren.

And I will make my couenant betweene me and thee, and I will multiplie thee exceedingly.

3 Und Abram fiel auf sein Angesicht; und Gott redete mit ihm und sprach:

Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying,

4 Ich, siehe Mein Bund ist mit dir; und du sollst der Vater einer Menge Völkerschaften werden.

Beholde, I make my couenant with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations,

5 Und deinen Namen soll man fortan nicht mehr Abram nennen, sondern dein Name soll Abraham sein; denn zum Vater einer Menge von Völkerschaften gebe Ich dich.

Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shalbe Abraham: for a father of many nations haue I made thee.

6 Und Ich will dich gar sehr fruchtbar machen, und gebe dich zu Völkerschaften, und Könige sollen von dir ausgehen.

Also I will make thee exceeding fruitfull, and will make nations of thee: yea, Kings shall proceede of thee.

7 Und Ich richte auf Meinen Bund zwischen Mir und zwischen dir und zwischen deinem Samen nach dir für ihre Geschlechter, als einen ewigen Bund, dir und deinem Samen nach dir Gott zu sein;

Moreouer I wil establish my couenant betweene me and thee, and thy seede after thee in their generations, for an euerlasting couenant, to be God vnto thee and to thy seede after thee.

8 Und Ich gebe dir und deinem Samen nach dir das Land deiner Wanderungen, das ganze Land Kanaan, zum ewigen Eigentum, und werde ihnen Gott sein.

And I will giue thee and thy seede after thee the land, wherein thou art a stranger, euen all the land of Canaan, for an euerlasting possession, and I will be their God.

9 Und Gott sprach zu Abraham: Du aber, du sollst Meinen Bund halten, du und dein Same nach dir, nach ihren Geschlechtern.

Againe God said vnto Abraham, Thou also shalt keepe my couenant, thou, and thy seede after thee in their generations.

10 Das ist Mein Bund, den ihr halten sollt zwischen Mir und zwischen euch und zwischen deinem Samen nach dir. Beschnitten werde euch alles Männliche!

This is my couenant which ye shall keepe betweene me and you, and thy seede after thee, Let euery man childe among you be circumcised:

11 Und ihr sollet beschnitten werden am Fleische eurer Vorhaut; und das sei zum Zeichen des Bundes zwischen Mir und zwischen euch!

That is, ye shall circumcise the foreskin of your flesh, and it shalbe a signe of the couenant betweene me and you.

12 Und acht Tage alt werde von euch alles Männliche beschnitten in euern Geschlechtern, der im Hause geboren und der mit Silber erworben ist von irgendwelchem Sohne des Auslands, der nicht deines Samens ist.

And euery man childe of eight dayes olde among you, shalbe circumcised in your generations, aswell he that is borne in thine house, as he that is bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seede.

13 Gewißlich soll beschnitten werden, wer in deinem Hause geboren und wer mit deinem Silber erworben ist. Und Mein Bund soll in eurem Fleische sein zum ewigen Bunde.

He that is borne in thine house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needes be circumcised: so my couenant shall be in your flesh for an euerlasting couenant.

14 Und der unbeschnittene Männliche, der sich nicht das Fleisch seiner Vorhaut beschneiden ließ, dessen Seele soll ausgerottet werden von seinen Völkern, er hat Meinen Bund zunichte gemacht.

But the vncircumcised man childe, in whose flesh the foreskin is not circumcised, euen that person shall be cut off from his people, because he hath broken my couenant.

15 Und Gott sprach zu Abraham: Dein Weib Sarai - ihren Namen sollst du nicht Sarai nennen, sondern Sarah soll ihr Name sein.

Afterward God said vnto Abraham, Sarai thy wife shalt thou not call Sarai, but Sarah shalbe her name.

16 Und Ich segne sie, und gebe dir auch von ihr einen Sohn; und Ich segne sie, daß sie zu Völkerschaften werde; Könige von Völkern sollen aus ihr werden.

And I will blesse her, and will also giue thee a sonne of her, yea, I will blesse her, and she shall be the mother of nations: Kings also of people shall come of her.

17 Und Abraham fiel auf sein Angesicht und lachte, und sprach in seinem Herzen: Soll mir, dem hundert Jahre alten, geboren werden, und Sarah soll, neunzig Jahre alt, gebären?

Then Abraham fell vpon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a childe be borne vnto him, that is an hundreth yeere olde? and shall Sarah that is ninetie yeere olde beare?

18 Und Abraham sprach zu Gott: Oh, möchte Ismael leben vor dir!

And Abraham saide vnto God, Oh, that Ishmael might liue in thy sight.

19 Und Gott sprach: Fürwahr, dein Weib Sarah wird dir einen Sohn gebären, und du sollst seinen Namen Isaak nennen, und Ich werde Meinen Bund mit ihm aufrichten zu einem Bunde der Ewigkeit für seinen Samen nach ihm.

Then God saide, Sarah thy wife shall beare thee a sonne in deede, and thou shalt call his name Izhak: and I will establish my couenant with him for an euerlasting couenant, and with his seede after him.

20 Und wegen Ismael habe Ich dich erhört. Siehe, Ich segne ihn, und mach ihn fruchtbar und mehre ihn sehr, sehr. Zwölf Fürsten wird er zeugen, und zu einer großen Völkerschaft gebe Ich ihn.

And as concerning Ishmael, I haue heard thee: loe, I haue blessed him, and will make him fruitfull, and will multiplie him exceedingly: twelue princes shall he beget, and I will make a great nation of him.

21 Aber Meinen Bund richte Ich mit Isaak auf, den Sarah dir um diese bestimmte Zeit im anderen Jahr gebären wird.

But my couenant will I establish with Izhak, which Sarah shall beare vnto thee, the next yeere at this season.

22 Und Er vollendete Seine Rede mit ihm, und Gott stieg auf von Abraham.

And he left off talking with him, and God went vp from Abraham.

23 Und Abraham nahm seinen Sohn Ismael und alle in seinem Haus Geborenen und alle mit seinem Silber Erworbenen, alles Männliche unter den Männern des Hauses Abrahams, und beschnitt das Fleisch ihrer Vorhaut an diesem selbigen Tage, wie Gott mit ihm geredet hatte.

Then Abraham tooke Ishmael his sonne and all that were borne in his house, and all that was bought with his money, that is, euery man childe among the men of Abrahams house, and he circumcised the foreskinne of their flesh in that selfe same day, as God had comaunded him.

24 Und Abraham war neunundneunzig Jahre alt, als er das Fleisch seiner Vorhaut beschnitt.

Abraham also himselfe was ninetie yeere olde and nine, when the foreskinne of his flesh was circumcised.

25 Und Sein Sohn Ismael war dreizehn Jahre alt, als ihm das Fleisch seiner Vorhaut beschnitten wurde.

And Ishmael his sonne was thirteene yeere olde, when the foreskinne of his flesh was circumcised.

26 An diesem selbigen Tage wurde Abraham und sein Sohn Ismael beschnitten.

The selfe same day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael his sonne:

27 Und alle Männer seines Hauses, der im Haus Geborene und der von dem Sohne des Auslandes mit Silber Erworbene, wurden mit ihm beschnitten.

And all the men of his house, both borne in his house, and bought with money of the stranger, were circumcised with him.
