1 Mose 14

1 Und es geschah, in den Tagen Amraphels, des Königs von Schinear, Ariochs, des Königs von Ellasar, Kedorlaomers, des Königs von Elam und Thideals, des Königs von Gojim,

And it chaunsed within a while that Amraphel kynge of Synear Arioch kynge of Ellasar Kedorlaomer kynge of Elam and Thydeall kynge of the nations:

2 Daß sie Krieg machten mit Bera, König von Sodom, und mit Birscha, König von Gomorrah, Schineab, König von Admah, und Schemeber, König von Zebojim, und dem Könige von Bela, das ist Zoar.

made warre wyth Bera kynge of Sodoh and with Birsa kynge of Gomorra. And wythe Sineab kynge of Adama and with Semeaber kynge of Zeboim and wyth the kynge of Bela Which Bela is called Zoar.

3 Diese alle verbündeten sich im Talgrunde Siddim, das ist das Salzmeer.

All these came together vnto the vale of siddim which is now the salt see

4 Zwölf Jahre hatten sie dem Kedorlaomer gedient, und im dreizehnten empörten sie sich.

Twelve yere were they subiecte to kinge kedorlaomer and in the. xiij. yere rebelled.

5 Und im vierzehnten Jahre kam Kedorlaomer und die Könige, die mit ihm waren, und schlugen die Rephaim in Aschteroth-Karnaim und die Susim in Ham und die Emim in Schaveh Kirjathaim.

Therfore in the. xiiij. yere came kedorlaomer and the kynges that were wyth hym and smote the Raphayms in Astarath Karnaim and the Susims in Hain ad the Emyms in Sabe Kariathaim

6 Und die Choriter auf ihrem Berge Seir bis El-Paran, das oben an der Wüste ist.

and the Hozyms in their awne mounte Seir vnto the playne of Pharan which bordreth vpon the wyldernesse.

7 Und sie kehrten zurück, und kamen nach En-Mischpat, das ist Kadesch, und schlugen das ganze Gefilde des Amalekiters, und auch den Amoriter, der in Chazezon Thamar wohnt.

And then turned they and came to the well of iugmente which is Cades and smote all the contre of the Amalechites and also the amorytes that dwell in Hazezon Thamar.

8 Und der König von Sodom zog aus, und der König von Gomorrah, und der König von Admah, und der König von Zeboim und der König von Bela, und ordneten sich zum Streit mit ihnen im Talgrund Siddim.

Than went out the kynge of Sodome and the kynge of Gomorra and the kinge of Adama and the kynge of Zeboijm and the kynge of Bela now called Zoar. And sette their men in aray to fyghte wyth them in the vale of siddim that is to say

9 Mit Kedorlaomer, König von Elam, und Thideal, König von Gojim, und Amraphel, König von Schinear, und Arioch, König von Ellasar, vier Könige mit fünf.

wyth kedorlaomer the kynge of Elam and with Thydeall kynge of the Nations and wyth Amraphel kynge of Synear. And with Arioch kynge of Ellasar: foure kynges agenste v.

10 Und der Talgrund Siddim hat Gruben an Gruben mit Erdharz, und der König von Sodom und von Gomorrah flohen und fielen daselbst, und die übrigen flohen aufs Gebirge.

And that vale of siddim was full of slyme pyttes. And the kynges of Sodome and Gomorra fled and fell there. And the resydue fled to the mountaynes.

11 Und sie nahmen alle Habe von Sodom und Gomorrah und all ihre Speise und zogen hin.

And they toke all the goodes of Sodome and Gomorra and all their vitalles ad went their waye.

12 Und sie nahmen Lot, den Sohn von Abrams Bruder, und seine Habe und zogen hin; und er wohnte in Sodom.

And they toke Lot also Abrams brothers sonne and his good (for he dwelled at Sodome) and departed:

13 Und es kam einer, der entkommen war, und sagte es Abram, dem Hebräer an, der da wohnte in den Eichenhainen Mamres, des Amoriters, des Bruders von Eskol und Bruders von Aner, und diese waren im Bunde mit Abram.

Than came one that had escaped and tolde Abram the hebrue which dwelled in the okegrove of Mamre the Amoryte brother of Eschol and Aner: which were confederate wyth Abram.

14 Und Abram hörte, daß sein Bruder gefangen war, und er ließ ausziehen seine Eingeübten in seinem Hause Geborenen dreihundertachtzehn, und setzte ihnen nach bis gen Da.

When Abram herde that his brother was taken he harnessed his seruantes borne in his owne house. iij. hundred and. xviij. ad folowed tyll they came at Dan.

15 Und er teilte sich wider sie in der Nacht, er und seine Knechte, und schlug sie, und setzte ihnen nach bis nach Chobah, das zur Linken von Damaskus ist.

And sette hymselfe ad his seruantes in aray and fell vpon them by nyght and smote them and chased them awaye vnto Hoba: which lyeth on the lefte hande of Damascos

16 Und brachte alle ihre Habe zurück; auch seinen Bruder Lot und seine Habe brachte er zurück und auch die Weiber und das Volk.

and broughte agayne all the goodes and also his brother Lot ad his goodes the weme also and the people.

17 Und der König von Sodom kam heraus, ihm entgegen, nachdem er zurückgekommen, als er Kedorlaomer und die Könige, die mit ihm waren geschlagen in dem Talgrund Schaveh, das ist des Königs Talgrund.

And as he retourned agayne from the slaughter of kedorlaomer and of the kynges that were with hym than came the kynge of Sodome agaynst hym vnto the vale of Saue which now is called kynges dale.

18 Und Melchizedek, König von Schalem, brachte heraus Brot und Wein, und er war Priester des höchsten Gottes;

Than Melchisedech kinge of Salem brought forth breed and wyne. And he beynge the prest of the most hyghest God

19 Und er segnete ihn und sprach: Gesegnet sei Abram dem höchsten Gotte, der Himmel und Erde besitzet!

blessed hym saynge. Blessed be Abram vnto the most hyghest God possessor of heauen and erth.

20 Und gesegnet sei der höchste Gott, daß Er deine Dränger in deine Hand geliefert. Und er gab ihm von allem den Zehnten.

And blessed be God the most hyghest which hath delyvered thyne enimies in to thy handes. And Abra gaue hym tythes of all.

21 Und der König von Sodom sprach zu Abram: Gib mir die Seelen und nimm die Habe für dich.

Than sayd the kynge of Sodome vnto Abram: gyue me the soulles and take the goodes to thy selfe.

22 Abram aber sprach zu dem König von Sodom: Ich habe meine Hand emporgehoben zu Jehovah, dem höchsten Gott, der Himmel und Erde besitzet,

And Abram answered the kynge of Sodome: I lyfte vpp my hande vnto the LORde God most hygh possessor of heaven ad erth

23 Daß ich vom Faden bis zum Schuhriemen, von allem das dein ist, nichts nehmen will; und du sollst nicht sagen: Ich habe den Abram reich gemacht.

that I will not take of all yt is thyne so moch as a thred or a shoulacher lest thou shuldest saye I haue made Abra ryche.

24 Nichts für mich! außer dem, was die Jünglinge verzehrten, und dem Teil der Männer, die mit mir zogen. Aner, Eschkol und Mamre, sie sollen ihren Teil nehmen.

Saue only that which the yonge men haue eaten ad the partes of the men which went wyth me. Aner Escholl and Mamre. Let them take their partes.
