1 Mose 13
1 Und Abram kam herauf aus Ägypten er und sein Weib und alles, das er hatte, und Lot mit ihm gen Mittag.
Than Abram departed out of Egipte both he and his wyfe and all that he had and Lot wyth hym vnto the south.
2 Und Abram war sehr reich an Viehherden, an Silber und an Gold.
Abram was very rych in catell syluer and gold.
3 Und er ging in seinen Zügen von Mittag bis nach Bethel zu dem Orte wo sein Zelt zum Anbeginn war, zwischen Bethel und Haai.
And he went on his iourney fro the south even vnto BETHEL ad vnto the place where his tente was at the fyrst tyme betwene BETHEL and Ay
4 An den Ort des Altars, den er am Anfang gemacht; und Abram rief dort den Namen Jehovahs an.
and vnto the place of the aulter which he made before. And there called Abram vpon the name of the LORde.
5 Und auch Lot, der mit Abram zog, hatte Kleinvieh und Rinder und Zelte.
Lot also which went wyth hym had shepe catell and tentes:
6 Aber das Land trug sie nicht, daß sie beisammen wohnten; denn ihrer Habe war viel, und sie konnten nicht beisammen wohnen.
so that the londe was not abill to receaue them that they myght dwell together for the substance of their riches was so greate that they coude not dwell together
7 Und es war Hader zwischen den Hirten von Abrams Viehherden und zwischen den Hirten von Lots Viehherden. Und der Kanaaniter und der Pheresiter wohnten damals im Lande.
And there fell a stryfe betwene the herdmen of Abrams catell and the herdmen of Lots catell. Moreouer the Cananytes and the Pherysites dwelled at that tyme in the lande.
8 Und Abram sprach zu Lot: Laß doch nicht Hader zwischen mir und zwischen dir, und zwischen meinen Hirten, und zwischen deinen Hirten sein, denn wir sind Brüder.
Than sayd Abram vnto Lot: let there be no stryfe I praye the betwene the and me and betwene my herdmen and thyne for we be brethren.
9 Ist nicht das ganze Land vor dir? So trenne dich doch von mir. Wenn zur Linken, so will ich zur Rechten gehen, und wenn zur Rechten, so will ich zur Linken gehen.
Ys not all the hole lande before the? Departe I praye the fro me. Yf thou wylt take the lefte hande I wyll take the right: Or yf thou take the right hande I wyll take the left.
10 Und Lot hob seine Augen auf und sah den ganzen Umkreis, daß dieser ganz vom Jordan bewässert war. Ehe Jehovah Sodom und Gomorrah verdarb, war das Land wie ein Garten Jehovahs, wie Ägypten, wo man nach Zoar kommt.
And Lot lyft vp hys eyes and beheld all the contre aboute Iordane which was a plenteous contre of water every where before the LORde destroyed Sodoma and Gomorra. Even as the garden of the LORde and as the lande of Egipte tyll thou come to Zoar.
11 Und Lot erwählte den ganzen Umkreis des Jordans für sich; und Lot brach auf vom Osten und sie trennten sich der Mann von seinem Bruder.
Than Lot chose all the costes of Iordane ad toke hys iourney from the east. And so departed the one brother from the other.
12 Abram wohnte im Lande Kanaan, und Lot wohnte in den Städten des Umkreises und zeltete bis gen Sodom.
Abram dwelled in the lande of Canaan. And lot in the cytes of the playne and tented tyll he came to Sodome.
13 Und die Männer Sodoms waren sehr böse und Sünder gegen Jehovah.
But the men of sodome were wyked and synned exceadyngly agenst the LORde.
14 Und Jehovah sprach zu Abram, nachdem sich Lot von ihm getrennt hatte: Hebe doch deine Augen auf und siehe von dem Ort aus, wo du bist gen Mitternacht und gen Mittag und gen Osten und dem Meere zu.
And the LORde sayed vnto Abram after that Lot was departed from hym: lyfte vp thyne eyes and loke from ye place where thou art northward southward eastward and westward
15 Denn alles Land, das du siehst, will Ich dir und deinem Samen geben ewiglich.
for all the lande which thou seiste wyll I gyue vnto the and to thy seed for ever.
16 Und will deinen Samen machen wie Staub der Erde. So ein Mann den Staub der Erde zu berechnen vermag, so wird auch dein Same berechnet werden.
And I wyll make thy seed as the dust of the erth: so that yf a ma can nombre the dust of the erth than shall thy seed also be nombred.
17 Mache dich auf und ziehe durch das Land, seiner Länge nach und seiner Breite nach; denn dir will Ich es geben.
Aryse and walke aboute in the lande in the length of it ad in the bredth for I wyll geue it vnto the.
18 Und Abram zeltete und kam und wohnte in den Eichenhainen Mamres, die in Hebron sind, und baute daselbst dem Jehovah einen Altar.
Than Abra toke downe hys tente and went and dwelled in the okegrove of Mamre which is in Ebron and buylded there an altar to the LORde.
