Hesekiel 9
1 Und Er rief in meine Ohren mit großer Stimme, sprechend: Sie nahen die Heimsucher der Stadt, und jeder Mann hat ein Werkzeug des Verderbens in seiner Hand.
He cryed also with a loude voyce in mine eares, saying, The visitations of the citie draw neere, and euery man hath a weapon in his hande to destroy it.
2 Und siehe, sechs Männer kamen des Weges vom oberen Tor, das gegen Mitternacht gewendet ist, und jeder Mann hatte sein Werkzeug des Zerstreuens in seiner Hand, und ein Mann in ihrer Mitte war mit Lein angetan und hatte eines Schreibers Tintenfaß an seinen Lenden, und sie kamen herein und standen neben dem Altar von Erz.
And beholde, sixe men came by the way of the hie gate, which lieth towarde the North, and euery man a weapon in his hande to destroy it: and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writers ynkhorne by his side, and they went in and stoode beside the brasen altar.
3 Und die Herrlichkeit des Gottes Israels stieg auf von dem Cherub, auf dem sie war, nach der Schwelle des Hauses hin und rief dem Mann, der mit Lein angetan war und des Schreibers Tintenfaß an seinen Lenden hatte.
And the glorie of the God of Israel was gone vp from ye Cherub, whereupon he was and stoode on the doore of the house, and he called to the man clothed with linnen, which had the writers ynkhorne by his side.
4 Und Jehovah sprach zu ihm: Ziehe hindurch inmitten der Stadt, inmitten Jerusalems, und zeichne ein Zeichen auf die Stirne der Männer, die seufzen und jammern über all die Greuel, die in ihrer Mitte getan werden.
And the Lord said vnto him, Goe through the middes of the citie, euen through the middes of Ierusalem and set a marke vpon the foreheads of them that mourne, and cry for all the abominations that be done in the middes thereof.
5 Und zu jenen sprach Er vor meinen Ohren: Zieht hindurch in die Stadt ihm nach und schlaget. Nicht schone euer Auge und habet kein Mitleid.
And to the other he said, that I might heare, Goe ye after him through the citie, and smite: let your eye spare none, neither haue pitie.
6 Den Alten, den Jüngling und die Jungfrau, und das Kindlein und die Weiber sollt ihr erwürgen, sie zu verderben; aber an keinen Mann sollt ihr hinzutreten, an dem das Zeichen ist; und ihr sollt an Meinem Heiligtum anfangen. Und sie fingen bei den alten Männern an, die vor dem Hause waren.
Destroy vtterly the old, and the yong, and the maides, and the children, and the women, but touch no man, vpon whome is the marke, and begin at my Sanctuarie. Then they began at the Ancient men, which were before the house.
7 Und Er sprach zu ihnen: Verunreinigt das Haus und füllet mit Erschlagenen die Vorhöfe; ziehet aus. Und sie zogen aus und schlugen in der Stadt.
And he sayde vnto them, Defile the house, and fill the courtes with the slaine, then goe foorth: and they went out, and slewe them in the citie.
8 Und es geschah, da sie geschlagen hatten, daß ich verblieb. Und ich fiel auf mein Angesicht und schrie und sprach: Ach, Herr Jehovah, willst Du allen Überrest Israels verderben, daß Deinen Grimm Du ausgießest über Jerusalem?
Nowe when they had slaine them, and I had escaped, I fell downe vpon my face, and cryed, saying, Ah Lord God, wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel, in powring out thy wrath vpon Ierusalem?
9 Und Er sprach zu mir: Die Missetat des Hauses Israels und Jehudahs ist gar sehr groß und das Land ist gefüllt mit Blut, und voller Rechtsverdrehung ist die Stadt; denn sie sagen: Jehovah hat das Land verlassen, und Jehovah sieht nicht.
Then saide he vnto me, The iniquitie of the house of Israel, and Iudah is exceeding great, so that the lande is full of blood, and the citie full of corrupt iudgement: for they say, The Lord hath forsaken the earth, and the Lord seeth vs not.
10 Und auch Ich - Mein Auge wird nicht schonen, und Ich will nicht bemitleiden. Ihren Weg gebe Ich auf ihr Haupt.
As touching me also, mine eye shall not spare them, neither will I haue pitie, but will recompence their wayes vpon their heades.
11 Und siehe, der Mann, der mit der Lein war angetan und das Tintenfaß an seinen Lenden hatte, brachte Wort zurück und sprach: Ich habe getan, wie Du mir geboten hast.
And beholde, the man clothed with linen which had the ynkhorne by his side, made report, and saide, Lord, I haue done as thou hast commanded me.
