Hesekiel 4
1 Und du, Menschensohn, nimm dir einen Ziegelstein und lege ihn vor dich hin und zeichne die Stadt Jerusalem darauf.
And thou, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and portray upon it a city, even Jerusalem.
2 Und gib wider sie eine Belagerung, und baue ein Bollwerk wider sie, und schütte einen Wall auf wider sie und gib wider sie Heerlager, und setze rings um sie Sturmböcke.
And lay siege against it, and build a tower against it, and cast up a mound against it; set a camp also against it, and place battering-rams against it round about.
3 Du aber nimm dir eine eiserne Pfanne und gib sie als eiserne Wand zwischen dich und die Stadt und richte dein Gesicht wider sie, und sie sei in Belagerung, und du sollst sie belagern. Ein Zeichen sei es dem Hause Israels.
Moreover, take thou an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city; and set thy face against it, that it may be besieged; and lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.
4 Und du sollst auf deine linke Seite liegen, und lege darauf die Missetat des Hauses Israel. Die Zahl der Tage, die du darauf liegst, sollst ihre Missetat du tragen.
Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it. According to the number of days that thou shalt lie upon it, thou shalt bear their iniquity.
5 Ich aber gebe dir die Jahre ihrer Missetat zur Zahl der Tage: dreihundertneunzig Tage, daß du die Missetat des Hauses Israel sollst tragen.
But for the years of their iniquity I appoint thee days, three hundred and ninety days; so long shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
6 Und hast du solches vollendet, sollst du ein zweites Mal auf deiner rechten Seite liegen und die Missetat des Hauses Jehudah tragen vierzig Tage, einen Tag auf das Jahr, einen Tag auf das Jahr gebe Ich dir.
And when thou hast brought them to an end, then lie upon thy right side, and bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days. I have appointed thee a day for a year.
7 Und auf Jerusalems Belagerung richte dein Angesicht und deinen entblößten Arm und weissage wider sie.
And set thy face against besieged Jerusalem, and uncover thine arm, and prophesy against it!
8 Und siehe, Ich lege dir Stricke an, daß du dich nicht von deiner einen Seite auf deine andere Seite kehren kannst, bis du die Tage deiner Belagerung hast vollendet.
And behold, I will lay bands upon thee, and thou shalt not turn thee from one side to another till thou hast ended the days of thy siege.
9 Und du, nimm du dir Weizen und Gerste und Bohnen und Linsen und Hirse und Spelt, und tue sie in ein Gefäß und mache dir davon Brot nach der Zahl der Tage, die du auf deiner Seite liegst, dreihundertneunzig Tage sollst du es essen.
Take thou also wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and spelt, and put them into one vessel, and make thereof thy bread for the number of days that thou shalt lie upon thy side; three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof.
10 Und deine Speise, die du essen sollst nach dem Gewicht, sei zwanzig Schekel auf den Tag, von Zeit zu Zeit sollst du sie essen.
And thy food which thou eatest shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day; from time to time shalt thou eat it.
11 Und Wasser sollst du trinken nach dem Maß, ein sechstel Hin. Von Zeit zu Zeit sollst du es trinken.
Thou shalt also drink water by measure, the sixth part of a hin; from time to time shalt thou drink.
12 Und sollst als Gerstenkuchen es essen; mit Kot, dem Auswurf von Menschen sollst du Kuchen machen vor ihren Augen.
Thou shalt also eat barley-cakes; and with dung that cometh out of man shalt thou bake them in their sight.
13 Und Jehovah sprach: Also werden die Söhne Israels ihr unrein Brot essen unter den Völkerschaften, wohin Ich sie verstoßen werde.
And Jehovah said, Even thus shall the sons of Israel eat their polluted food among the nations, whither I will drive them.
14 Und ich sprach: Ach, Herr Jehovah, siehe, meine Seele ist nicht verunreinigt, und Aas und Zerfleischtes habe ich nicht gegessen von meiner Jugend bis jetzt, und ist kein abscheuliches Fleisch in meinen Mund gekommen.
Then said I: Ah! Lord Jehovah, behold, I have never been polluted; for from my youth until now have I not eaten that which died of itself, or was torn in pieces; neither hath unclean food come into my mouth.
15 Und Er sprach zu mir: Siehe, Ich gebe dir Rinderdung statt Menschenkot, damit du dein Brot damit machst.
Then he said to me: Behold, I give thee cow's dung for man's dung; and with that shalt thou prepare thy food.
16 Und Er sprach zu mir: Menschensohn, siehe, Ich breche den Stab des Brotes in Jerusalem, und sie sollen Brot essen nach dem Gewichte und mit Sorgen, und Wasser trinken nach dem Maß und mit Erstaunen.
And he said to me: Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem, and they shall eat bread by weight and with care, and they shall drink water by measure and in amazement;
17 Weil sie des Brotes und des Wassers mangeln, und sich erstaunen werden, der Mann und sein Bruder und abzehren ob ihrer Missetat.
so that they shall be in want of bread and water, and be astonished one at another, and consume away for their iniquity.
