Hesekiel 15

1 Und es geschah zu mir das Wort Jehovahs, sprechend:

And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.

2 Menschensohn, was ist das Holz des Weinstocks vor allem Holz? Die Rebe, die unter den Bäumen des Waldes ist?

O son of humankind what? is it [the] wood of the vine more than any tree the vine branch which it is among [the] trees of the forest.

3 Nimmt man davon Holz, um ein Werk zu machen? nimmt man davon einen Pflock, um irgendein Gerät daran aufzuhängen?

¿ Is it taken from it wood to make into a product or? do people take from it a peg to hang on it any vessel.

4 Siehe, man gibt es dem Feuer zur Speise. Seine zwei Enden hat das Feuer aufgefressen, und in der Mitte ist es entbrannt. Gerät es zu einem Werk?

There! to the fire it is given for fuel [the] two ends its it consumes the fire and [the] middle of it it is charred ¿ is it successful for a product.

5 Siehe, da es noch ganz war, machte man kein Werk daraus. Nun aber das Feuer es aufgefressen und es entbrannt ist, kann man noch ein Werk davon machen?

There! when was it complete not it was made into a product indeed? if a fire it has consumed it and it has been charred and will it be made? again into a product.

6 Darum spricht also der Herr Jehovah: Gleichwie das Holz des Weinstocks ist unter dem Holz des Waldes, das Ich zur Speise dem Feuer gebe, so gebe Ich Jerusalems Bewohner,

Therefore thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh just as [the] wood of the vine among [the] tree[s] of the forest which I have given it to the fire for fuel so I have given [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem.

7 Und gebe wider sie Mein Angesicht, daß, wo sie auch dem Feuer sind entgangen, das Feuer sie doch fressen wird. Und ihr sollt wissen, daß Ich Jehovah bin, wenn Ich Mein Angesicht setze wider sie,

And I will set face my on them from the fire they have come out and the fire it will consume them and you will know that I [am] Yahweh when set I face my on them.

8 Und Ich das Land zur Wüste hingebe, weil sie sind untreu worden, spricht der Herr Jehovah.

And I will make the land a desolation because they have acted unfaithfully unfaithfulness [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.
