2 Mose 40
1 Und Jehovah redete zu Mose und sprach:
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
2 Am Tage des ersten Monats, am ersten des Monats sollst du die Wohnung des Versammlungszeltes aufrichten,
“In the first month, on the first day of the month, you shall raise the tabernacle of the testimony,
3 Und darein die Lade des Zeugnisses setzen, und über die Lade den Vorhang dekken.
and you shall place the ark in it, and you shall release the veil before it.
4 Und den Tisch hereinbringen, und anordnen seine Anordnung: und sollst den Leuchter hereinbringen und seine Lampen aufstecken;
And having brought in the table, you shall place the things which were solemnly commanded upon it. The lampstand shall stand with its lamps,
5 Und den goldenen Räuchaltar vor die Lade des Zeugnisses stellen, und den Vorhang des Eingangs an die Wohnung setzen;
and the altar of gold, in which the incense is burned, shall stand before the ark of the testimony. You shall place the tent at the entrance of the tabernacle,
6 Und den Brandopferaltar vor den Eingang zur Wohnung des Versammlungszeltes setzen;
and before it, the altar of holocaust.
7 Und das Becken zwischen das Versammlungszelt und zwischen den Altar stellen und Wasser darein tun.
The washtub shall stand between the altar and the tabernacle, and you shall fill it with water.
8 Und setze den Vorhof ringsum, und tue die Decke an das Tor des Vorhofs.
And you shall encompass the atrium and its entrance with hangings.
9 Und nimm das Salböl und salbe die Wohnung und alles, was in ihr ist, und heilige sie und all ihr Gerät, und sie sei ein Heiligtum.
And, having taken up the oil of unction, you shall anoint the tabernacle along with its articles, so that they may be sanctified.
10 Und du sollst den Brandopferaltar salben und alle seine Geräte, und den Altar heiligen, auf daß der Altar allerheiligst sei.
The altar of holocaust and all its vessels,
11 Und du sollst das Becken und sein Gestell salben und es heiligen.
the washtub with its base, and all things, you shall consecrate with the oil of unction, so that they may be the Holy of holies.
12 Und laß Aharon und seine Söhne sich nahen dem Eingang des Versammlungszeltes, und wasche sie mit dem Wasser;
And you shall bring forward Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tabernacle of the testimony, and, having washed them with water,
13 Und ziehe dem Aharon die heiligen Kleider an und salbe ihn und heilige ihn, auf daß er Mir Priesterdienst tue.
14 Und laß seine Söhne sich nahen, und ziehe ihnen die Leibröcke an;
15 Und salbe sie, wie du ihren Vater gesalbt hast, daß sie Mir Priesterdienst tun, und es soll ihnen ihre Salbung zu ewigem Priestertum werden in ihren Geschlechtern.
you shall clothe them in the holy vestments, so that they may minister to me, and so that their unction may accomplish an everlasting priesthood.”
16 Und Mose tat nach allem, das ihm Jehovah geboten hatte; also tat er.
And Moses did all that the Lord had instructed.
17 Und es geschah im ersten Monat im zweiten Jahr, am ersten des Monats, daß die Wohnung aufgerichtet wurde.
Therefore, in the first month of the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was put in place.
18 Und Mose richtete die Wohnung auf, und er setzte ihre Untersätze und stellte ihre Bretter, und tat ihre Riegel daran und richtete ihre Säulen auf.
And Moses raised it up, and he positioned the panels as well as the bases and the bars, and he set up the columns,
19 Und er breitete das Zelt aus über die Wohnung, und legte die Decke des Zeltes oben darüber, wie Jehovah dem Mose geboten hatte.
and he stretched out the roof over the tabernacle, imposing a cover above it, just as the Lord had decreed.
20 Und er nahm das Zeugnis und tat es in die Lade, und legte die Stangen an die Lade und setzte den Gnadenstuhl oben auf die Lade;
And he placed the testimony in the ark, applying the bars beneath, and the oracle above.
21 Und brachte die Lade in die Wohnung, und tat den Vorhang der Decke davor und bedeckte die Lade des Zeugnisses, wie Jehovah Mose geboten hatte.
And when he had brought the ark into the tabernacle, he drew the veil before it, in order to fulfill the commandment of the Lord.
22 Und den Tisch stellte er in das Versammlungszelt an die Seite der Wohnung gegen Mitternacht außerhalb des Vorhangs;
And he placed the table in the tabernacle of the testimony, at the north side, beyond the veil,
23 Und ordnete darauf die Anordnung des Brotes vor Jehovah, wie Jehovah dem Mose geboten hatte.
arranging before it the bread of the presence, just as the Lord had instructed Moses.
24 Und den Leuchter stellte er in das Versammlungszelt gerade gegenüber dem Tisch zur Seite der Wohnung gegen Mittag;
And he placed the lampstand in the tabernacle of the testimony, away from the table, on the south side,
25 Und steckte die Lampen auf vor Jehovah, wie dem Mose Jehovah geboten hatte.
setting the lamps in order, according to the precept of the Lord.
26 Und den goldenen Altar setzte er in das Versammlungszelt vor den Vorhang;
He also positioned the altar of gold under the roof of the testimony, opposite the veil,
27 Und räucherte darauf mit dem Räuchwerk der Spezereien, wie Jehovah dem Mose geboten hatte.
and he heaped upon it the incense of aromatics, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
28 Und vor den Eingang zur Wohnung tat er die Decke.
And he positioned the tent at the entrance of the tabernacle of the testimony,
29 Und den Brandopferaltar setzte er an den Eingang zur Wohnung des Versammlungszeltes, und ließ darauf das Brandopfer und das Speiseopfer aufgehen, wie Jehovah dem Mose geboten hatte.
and the altar of holocaust in the vestibule of the testimony, offering the holocaust and the sacrifices upon it, just as the Lord had decreed.
30 Und das Becken setzte er zwischen das Versammlungszelt und zwischen den Altar und tat Wasser darein zum Waschen.
Likewise, he stationed the washtub between the tabernacle of the testimony and the altar, filling it with water.
31 Und Mose und Aharon und seine Söhne wuschen sich ihre Hände und ihre Füße daraus.
And Moses and Aaron, along with his sons, washed their hands and feet,
32 Wenn sie in das Versammlungszelt eingingen und dem Altare nahten, wuschen sie sich, wie Jehovah dem Mose geboten hatte.
whenever they would enter the covering of the covenant, and when they approached to the altar, just as the Lord had instructed Moses.
33 Und er richtete rings um die Wohnung und den Altar den Vorhof auf und in das Tor des Vorhofs tat er die Decke; und Mose vollendete das Werk.
And he raised up the atrium around the tabernacle and the altar, drawing the hanging at its entrance. After all these things were perfected,
34 Und die Wolke bedeckte das Versammlungszelt, und die Herrlichkeit Jehovahs füllte die Wohnung.
the cloud covered the tabernacle of the testimony, and the glory of the Lord filled it.
35 Und Mose vermochte nicht in das Versammlungszelt einzugehen; denn die Wolke lagerte darauf, und die Herrlichkeit Jehovahs füllte die Wohnung.
Neither could Moses enter the covering of the covenant: the cloud was covering all things, and the majesty of the Lord was flashing. For the cloud had covered everything.
36 Und wenn die Wolke aufstieg von der Wohnung, brachen die Söhne Israels auf allen ihren Zügen auf.
Whenever the cloud departed from the tabernacle, the sons of Israel set out by their companies.
37 Und wenn die Wolke nicht aufstieg, so brachen sie nicht auf, bis zu dem Tage, da sie aufstieg.
But if it remained hanging over it, they remained in the same place.
38 Denn bei Tag war die Wolke Jehovahs über der Wohnung, und bei Nacht war Feuer darin vor den Augen des ganzen Hauses Israel auf allen ihren Zügen.
Certainly, the cloud of the Lord lay over the tabernacle by day, and the fire by night, being seen by all the people of Israel throughout all their resting places.
