2 Mose 34

1 Und Jehovah sprach zu Mose: Haue dir zwei steinerne Tafeln zu, wie die ersten, und Ich will auf die Tafeln die Worte schreiben, die auf den ersten Tafeln waren, die du zerbrochen hast.

And the LORD said unto Moses: 'Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first; and I will write upon the tables the words that were on the first tables, which thou didst break.

2 Und sei bereit für den Morgen, und steig am Morgen auf den Berg Sinai und stelle dich Mir daselbst auf des Berges Spitze.

And be ready by the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present thyself there to Me on the top of the mount.

3 Und niemand steige mit dir hinauf, und soll sich auch niemand auf dem Berge sehen lassen. Auch Kleinvieh und Rind soll nicht vor diesem Berg weiden.

And no man shall come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount.'

4 Und er hieb zwei steinerne Tafeln zu, gleich den ersten, und Mose machte sich früh am Morgen auf und stieg auf den Berg Sinai, wie Jehovah ihm geboten hatte, und nahm die zwei steinernen Tafeln in seine Hand.

And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand two tables of stone.

5 Und Jehovah kam in der Wolke herab und stellte Sich zu ihm daselbst und rief Jehovahs Namen an.

And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.

6 Und Jehovah zog vorüber vor seinem Angesicht und rief: Jehovah, Jehovah, Gott, erbarmungsvoll und gnädig, langmütig und groß an Barmherzigkeit und Wahrheit.

And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed: 'The LORD, the LORD, God, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth;

7 Bewahrend Barmherzigkeit Tausenden, tragend Missetat und Übertretung und Sünde, aber nicht ungestraft lassend, heimsuchend die Missetat der Väter an den Söhnen und an der Söhne Söhnen bis ins dritte und vierte Glied.

keeping mercy unto the thousandth generation, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin; and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and unto the fourth generation.'

8 Und Mose eilte und verneigte sich zur Erde und betete an.

And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.

9 Und sprach: Wenn ich doch Gnade fände in Deinen Augen, o Herr, daß der Herr doch in unserer Mitte zöge. Denn es ist ein hartnäckiges Volk; aber vergib unsrer Missetat und unsrer Sünde und mach uns zum Erbe.

And he said: 'If now I have found grace in Thy sight, O Lord, let the Lord, I pray Thee, go in the midst of us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for Thine inheritance.'

10 Und Er sprach: Siehe, Ich schließe einen Bund; vor all deinem Volke will Ich Wunder tun, dergleichen nicht geschaffen sind auf der ganzen Erde und unter allen Völkerschaften; und sehen wird das ganze Volk, in dessen Mitte du bist, das Tun Jehovahs; denn furchtbar wird sein, was Ich mit dir tun werde.

And He said: 'Behold, I make a covenant; before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been wrought in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD that I am about to do with thee, that it is tremendous.

11 Halte dir, was heut Ich dir gebiete. Siehe, Ich vertreibe vor dir den Amoriter und den Kanaaniter, und den Chethiter und den Pherisiter und den Chiviter und den Jebusiter.

Observe thou that which I am commanding thee this day; behold, I am driving out before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

12 Hüte dich, daß du nicht einen Bund mit dem Einwohner des Landes schließest, in das du kommst; auf daß er nicht zum Fallstrick in deiner Mitte werde.

Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest they be for a snare in the midst of thee.

13 Darum sollt ihr ihre Altäre einreißen und ihre Bildsäulen zerbrechen und ihre Ascheren ausrotten.

But ye shall break down their altars, and dash in pieces their pillars, and ye shall cut down their Asherim.

14 Denn du sollst keinen anderen Gott anbeten; denn Jehovah, Eiferer ist Sein Name, ein eifriger Gott ist Er.

For thou shalt bow down to no other god; for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God;

15 Daß du keinen Bund schließest mit dem Einwohner des Landes, und sie nachbuhlen ihren Göttern und opfern ihren Göttern, und er dann dich rufe und du essest von ihrem Opfer,

lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go astray after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and they call thee, and thou eat of their sacrifice;

16 Und nehmest von ihren Töchtern für deine Söhne, und dann ihre Töchter ihren Göttern nachbuhlen, und machen deine Söhne ihren Göttern nachbuhlen.

and thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go astray after their gods, and make thy sons go astray after their gods.

17 Mache dir keine gegossenen Götter.

Thou shalt make thee no molten gods.

18 Das Fest des Ungesäuerten sollst du halten, sieben Tage Ungesäuertes essen, wie Ich dir geboten habe, zur bestimmten Zeit des Monats Abib; denn im Monat Abib bist du aus Ägypten ausgegangen.

The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, at the time appointed in the month Abib, for in the month Abib thou camest out from Egypt.

19 Alles, was die Mutter bricht, ist Mein, und von all deiner Viehherde sollst du das Männliche geben, alles Erstgeborene von Ochs und von Kleinvieh.

All that openeth the womb is Mine; and of all thy cattle thou shalt sanctify the males, the firstlings of ox and sheep.

20 Und das Erstgeborene des Esels sollst du mit einem Lamme einlösen; und wenn du es nicht einlösest, so brich ihm das Genick. Jeden Erstgeborenen deiner Söhne sollst du lösen; und vor Meinem Angesicht soll man nicht leer erscheinen.

And the firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb; and if thou wilt not redeem it, then thou shalt break its neck. All the first-born of thy sons thou shalt redeem. And none shall appear before Me empty.

21 Sechs Tage sollst du arbeiten, aber am siebenten Tage feiern; mit dem Pflügen und dem Ernten sollst du feiern.

Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest; in plowing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.

22 Und das Fest der Woche sollst du bei dir halten mit den Erstlingen der Weizenernte, und das Fest der Einsammlung im Verlaufe des Jahres.

And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, even of the first-fruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the turn of the year.

23 Dreimal des Jahres erscheine all dein Männliches vor dem Angesicht des Herrn Jehovah, des Gottes Israels.

Three times in the year shall all thy males appear before the Lord GOD, the God of Israel.

24 Denn Ich will die Völkerschaften vor deinem Angesicht austreiben und deine Grenze erweitern, und niemand soll dein Land begehren, wenn du hinaufgehst, dreimal im Jahre das Angesicht Jehovahs, deines Gottes, zu sehen.

For I will cast out nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders; neither shall any man covet thy land, when thou goest up to appear before the LORD thy God three times in the year.

25 Du sollst nicht über Gesäuertem das Blut Meines Opfers schlachten, noch soll über Nacht bis zum Morgen bleiben das Opfer des Passahfestes.

Thou shalt not offer the blood of My sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left unto the morning.

26 Das Erste der Erstlinge deines Bodens sollst du in das Haus Jehovahs deines Gottes bringen. Du sollst nicht kochen das Böcklein in der Milch seiner Mutter.

The choicest first-fruits of thy land thou shalt bring unto the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in its mother's milk.'

27 Und Jehovah sprach zu Mose: Schreibe dir diese Worte auf; denn nach dem Ausspruch dieser Worte schließe Ich einen Bund mit dir und mit Israel.

And the LORD said unto Moses: 'Write thou these words, for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.'

28 Und er war dort mit Jehovah vierzig Tage und vierzig Nächte, er aß kein Brot und trank kein Wasser; und Er schrieb die Worte des Bundes, die Zehn Worte, auf die Tafeln.

And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten words.

29 Und es geschah, als Mose vom Berge Sinai herabkam, und die zwei Tafeln des Zeugnisses in Moses Hand waren, bei seinem Herabkommen vom Berg, daß Mose nicht wußte, daß die Haut seines Angesichts davon strahlte, daß er mit Ihm geredet hatte.

And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of the testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses knew not that the skin of his face sent forth beams while He talked with him.

30 Und Aharon und alle Söhne Israels sahen Mose, und siehe, die Haut seines Angesichts strahlte, und sie fürchteten sich, zu ihm herzutreten.

And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face sent forth beams; and they were afraid to come nigh him.

31 Und Mose rief ihnen zu, und Aharon und alle die Fürsten in der Gemeinde kehrten zurück, und Mose redete zu ihnen;

And Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him; and Moses spoke to them.

32 Und nachher traten alle Söhne Israels herzu und er gebot ihnen alles, was Jehovah mit ihm auf dem Berge Sinai geredet hatte.

And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh, and he gave them in commandment all that the LORD had spoken with him in mount Sinai.

33 Und Mose vollendete mit ihnen zu reden, und er tat eine Hülle über sein Angesicht.

And when Moses had done speaking with them, he put a veil on his face.

34 Und wenn Mose hineinging vor Jehovah, mit Ihm zu reden, nahm er die Hülle ab, bis er herausging; und er ging heraus und redete zu den Söhnen Israels, was ihm geboten war.

But when Moses went in before the LORD that He might speak with him, he took the veil off, until he came out; and he came out; and spoke unto the children of Israel that which he was commanded.

35 Und die Söhne Israels sahen das Angesicht Moses, daß die Haut von Moses Ange- sicht strahlte, und Mose tat die Hülle zurück über sein Angesicht, bis er hineinging, mit Ihm zu reden.

And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face sent forth beams; and Moses put the veil back upon his face, until he went in to speak with Him.
