2 Mose 33

1 Und Jehovah redete zu Mose: Geh, zieh hinauf von hinnen, du und das Volk, das du aus Ägyptenland heraufgebracht hast, in das Land, von dem Ich dem Abraham, dem Isaak und dem Jakob geschworen habe und gesagt: Deinem Samen will Ich es geben.

And the Lord spak to Moyses, and seide, Go and stie fro this place, thou, and the puple, whom thou leddist out of the lond of Egipt, in to the lond, which Y haue swore to Abraham, and to Ysaac, and to Jacob, `and Y seide, Y schal yyue it to thi seed.

2 Und Ich will einen Engel vor dir hersenden, und vertreiben den Kanaaniter, den Amoriter und den Chethiter und den Pherisiter, den Chiviter und den Jebusiter;

And Y schal sende thi bifore goere an aungel, that Y caste out Cananey, and Amorei, and Ethei, and Ferezei, and Euey, and Jebusey;

3 In ein Land, da Milch und Honig fließt; denn Ich werde nicht in deiner Mitte hinaufziehen, weil du ein hartnäckiges Volk bist, Ich möchte dich sonst verzehren auf dem Wege.

and that thou entre in to the lond flowynge with mylk and hony; for Y schal not stye with thee, for `thou art a puple of hard nol, lest perauenture Y leese thee in the weie.

4 Und das Volk hörte das böse Wort, und sie trauerten, und keiner legte seinen Schmuck an.

The puple herde this worste word, and morenyde, and noon was clothid with his ournyng bi custom.

5 Und Jehovah sprach zu Mose: Sprich zu den Söhnen Israels: Ein hartnäckiges Volk seid ihr. In einem Augeblick, so Ich in deiner Mitte hinaufzöge, würde Ich dich verzehren. Und nun nimm deinen Schmuck von dir herunter, daß Ich wisse, was Ich mit dir tue.

And the Lord seide to Moises, Spek thou to the sones of Israel, Thou art a puple of hard nol; onys Y schal stie in the myddis of thee, and Y schal do awey thee; riyt now putte awei thin ournyng, that Y wite, what Y schal do to thee.

6 Und die Söhne Israels rissen sich ihren Schmuck vor dem Berge Horeb ab.

Therfor the sones of Israel puttiden awey her ournyng fro the hil of Oreb.

7 Und Mose nahm das Zelt und schlug es außerhalb des Lagers für sich auf, fern von dem Lager, und nannte es Versammlungszelt; und es geschah, daß jeder, der Jehovah fragen wollte, zum Versammlungszelt außerhalb des Lagers hinausging.

And Moises took the tabernacle, and settide fer with out the castels, and he clepide the name therof the tabernacle of boond of pees. And al the puple that hadde ony questioun, yede out to the tabernacle of boond of pees, with out the castels.

8 Und es geschah, wenn Mose hinausging zum Zelt, stand alles Volk auf, und jeder Mann stellte sich an den Eingang seines Zeltes; und sie blickten Mose nach, bis er in das Zelt eingegangen war.

And whanne Moises yede out to the tabernacle, al the puple roos, and ech man stood in the dore of his tente, and thei bihelden `the bak of Moises, til he entride in to the tente.

9 Und es geschah, wenn Mose in das Zelt einging, kam die Wolkensäule herab und stand am Eingang des Zeltes und redete mit Mose.

Sotheli whanne he entride in to the tabernacle of boond of pees, a piler of cloude cam doun, and stood at the dore; and the Lord spak with Moises,

10 Und alles Volk sah die Wolkensäule am Eingang des Zeltes stehen, und das ganze Volk stand auf und verbeugte sich, jeder Mann am Eingang seines Zeltes.

while alle men sien that the piler of cloude stood at the `dore of tabernacle; and thei stoden, and worschipiden bi the dores of her tabernaclis.

11 Und Jehovah redete zu Mose von Angesicht zu Angesicht, wie ein Mann zu seinem Genossen redet; und er kehrte in das Lager zurück; und Jehoschuah, sein Diener, Nuns Sohn, der Jüngling, wich nicht aus des Zeltes Mitte.

Forsothe the Lord spak to Moises face to face, as a man is wont to speke to his freend; and whanne he turnede ayen in to `the castels, Josue, his mynystre, the sone of Nun, a child, yede not awey fro the tabernacle.

12 Und Mose sprach zu Jehovah: Siehe, Du sprichst zu mir: Bringe dieses Volk hinauf, und hast mich nicht wissen lassen, wen Du mit mir senden willst, und hast doch gesagt: Ich kenne dich beim Namen, und du hast auch Gnade in Meinen Augen gefunden.

Forsothe Moises seide to the Lord, Thou comaundist, that Y lede out this puple, and thou `schewist not to me, whom thou schalt sende with me, `most sithen thou seidist, Y knewe thee bi name, and thou hast founde grace bifore me.

13 Und nun, wenn ich doch Gnade in Deinen Augen gefunden habe, so laß mich doch wissen Deinen Weg, auf daß ich Dich kenne, weil ich Gnade gefunden in Deinen Augen, und siehe, daß Dein Volk ist diese Völkerschaft.

Therfore if Y haue founde grace in thi siyt, schewe thi face to me, that Y knowe thee, and fynde grace bifor thin iyen; biholde thi puple, and this folk.

14 Und Er sprach: Mein Angesicht soll gehen, und Ich werde dich zur Ruhe bringen.

And God seide, My face schal go bifor thee, and Y schal yyue reste to thee.

15 Und er sprach zu Ihm: Wenn Dein Angesicht nicht geht, so bringe uns nicht von dannen hinauf.

And Moises seide, If thi silf schalt not go bifore, `lede not vs out of this place;

16 Und woran soll dann erkannt werden, daß ich in Deinen Augen Gnade gefunden, ich und Dein Volk? Wenn nicht daran, daß Du mit uns gehst, und daß wir, ich und Dein Volk, ausgezeichnet werden vor allem Volke, das auf dem Boden ist?

for in what thing moun we wite, Y and thi puple, that we han founde grace in thi siyt, if thou schalt not go with vs, that we be glorified of alle puplis that dwellen on erthe?

17 Und Jehovah sprach zu Mose: Auch dieses Wort, das du geredet, will Ich tun; denn du hast Gnade in Meinen Augen gefunden, und Ich kenne dich beim Namen.

Forsothe the Lord seide to Moises, Y schal do also this word, which thou hast spoke; for thou hast founde grace bifor me, and Y knewe thi silf bi name.

18 Und er sprach: Laß mich doch Deine Herrlichkeit sehen.

And Moises seide, Schewe thou thi glorie to me.

19 Und Er sprach: Ich will alle Meine Güte vor deinem Angesicht vorübergehen lassen, und den Namen Jehovahs anrufen vor dir. Und Ich bin gnädig, wem Ich gnädig bin, und erbarme Mich, wessen Ich Mich erbarme.

God answeride, Y schal schewe al good to thee, and Y schal clepe in the `name of the Lord bifor thee, and Y schal do merci to whom Y wole, and Y schal be merciful on whom it plesith to me.

20 Und Er sprach: Mein Angesicht vermagst du nicht zu sehen; denn nicht sieht Mich ein Mensch und lebt.

And eft God seide, Thou maist not se my face, for a man schal not se me, and schal lyue.

21 Und Jehovah sprach: Siehe, es ist ein Ort bei Mir, und du sollst auf den Fels dich stellen.

And eft God seide, A place is anentis me, and thou schalt stonde on a stoon;

22 Und es wird geschehen, wenn Meine Herrlichkeit vorüberzieht, so will Ich dich in die Kluft des Felsens stellen und Meine Hand über dich decken, bis Ich vorübergezogen bin.

and whanne my glorie schal passe, Y schal sette thee in the hoole of the stoon, and Y schal kyuere with my riyt hond, til Y passe; and Y schal take awey myn hond,

23 Und Ich will Meine Hand wegnehmen, daß du Mich von hinten sehest, aber Mein Angesicht soll man nicht sehen.

and thou schalt se myn hyndrere partis, forsothe thou mayst not se my face.
