5 Mose 29
1 Das sind die Worte des Bundes, den Jehovah Mose gebot im Lande Moab mit den Söhnen Israels zu schließen, außer dem Bund, den Er in Choreb mit ihnen geschlossen hatte.
These ben the wordis of boond of pees, which the Lord comaundide to Moyses, that he schulde smyte with the sones of Israel in the lond of Moab, outakun that bond of pees, which he couenauntide with hem in Oreb.
2 Und Mose rief dem ganzen Israel und sprach zu ihnen: Ihr habt gesehen alles, was Jehovah vor euren Augen in Ägyptenland getan an Pharao und allen seinen Knechten und an seinem ganzen Land.
And Moises clepid al Israel, and seide to hem, Ye sien alle thingis whiche the Lord dide bifor you in the lond of Egipt, to Farao and alle hise seruauntis, and to al his lond;
3 Die großen Versuchungen, die deine Augen sahen, Seine Zeichen und großen Wahrzeichen.
the greet temptaciouns whiche thin iyen sien, `tho signes, and grete wondris.
4 Aber Jehovah hat euch kein Herz gegeben zu erkennen, noch Augen zu sehen, noch Ohren zu hören, bis auf diesen Tag.
And the Lord yaf not to you an herte vndurstondynge, and iyen seynge, and eeris that moun here, til in to present dai.
5 Und die vierzig Jahre, die ich euch in der Wüste geführt, alterten nicht eure Gewänder an euch, und dein Schuh alterte nicht an deinem Fuß.
He ledde you bi fourti yeer thoruy deseert; youre clothis weren not brokun, nether the schoon of youre feet weren waastid bi eldnesse;
6 Ihr habt kein Brot gegessen und keinen Wein noch starkes Getränk getrunken, auf daß ihr wisset, daß Ich, Jehovah, euer Gott, bin.
ye eetun not breed, ye drunken not wyn and sidur, that ye schulden wite that he is youre Lord God.
7 Und ihr kamt an diesen Ort, und es zog aus Sichon der König von Cheschbon und Og, König von Baschan, uns entgegen zum Streite, und wir schlugen sie.
And ye camen to this place; and Seon, the kyng of Esebon yede out, and Og, the kyng of Basan, and camen to us to batel. And we han smyte hem,
8 Und wir nahmen ihr Land und gaben es zum Erbe dem Rubeniter und dem Gaditer und dem halben Stamm Menascheh.
and we token awey the lond `of hem, and we yauen `the lond to possessioun, to Ruben, and to Gad, and to the half lynage of Manasses.
9 Und ihr sollt die Worte dieses Bundes halten und sie tun, auf daß ihr klug seiet in allem, was ihr tut.
Therfor kepe ye the wordis of this couenaunt, and fille ye tho, that ye vndirstonde all thingis whiche ye schulen do.
10 Ihr habt auch heute alle von euch vor Jehovah, euren Gott, gestellt: eure Häupter, eure Stämme, eure Ältesten und eure Vorsteher, alle Männer Israels.
Alle ye stonden to day bifor youre Lord God, youre princes, and lynagis, and the grettere men in birthe, and techeris, al the puple of Israel,
11 Eure Kindlein, eure Weiber und dein Fremdling, der in der Mitte deines Lagers ist, von dem, der dein Holz haut, bis zu dem, der dein Wasser schöpft.
fre children, and youre wyues, and comelyngis that dwellen with thee in castels, outakun the heweris of stonus, and outakun hem that beren watris;
12 Auf daß du heute in den Bund Jehovahs, deines Gottes, übergehst und in Seinen Eid, den Jehovah, dein Gott, heute mit dir schließt,
that thou go in the boond of pees of thi Lord God, and in the ooth which thi Lord God smytith with thee,
13 Auf daß Er heute dich als Sein Volk bestätige, und Er zum Gott dir sei, wie Er zu dir geredet hat, und wie Er deinen Vätern, dem Abraham, dem Isaak und dem Jakob geschworen hat.
that he reise thee in to a puple to hym silf, and that he be thi Lord God, as he spak to thee, and as he swoor to thi fadris, to Abraham, Ysaac, and Jacob.
14 Und nicht mit euch, euch allein schließe Ich diesen Bund und diesen Eid,
And not to you aloone Y smyte this loond of pees, and conferme these othis,
15 Sondern sowohl mit dem, der heute hier mit uns vor Jehovah, unserem Gotte, steht, als auch mit dem, der heute nicht bei uns ist;
but to alle men, present and absent.
16 Denn ihr wisset, wie wir in Ägyptenland wohnten, und wie wir mitten durch die Völkerschaften durchzogen, durch die ihr durchzoget.
For ye witen hou we dwelliden in the lond of Egipt, and how we passiden bi the myddis of naciouns; whiche ye passiden,
17 Und sahet ihre Scheusale und ihre Götzen, Holz und Stein, Silber und Gold, die bei ihnen waren.
and siyen abhomynaciouns and filthis, that is, idols `of hem, tre and stoon, siluer and gold, whiche thei worschipiden.
18 Daß nicht unter euch ein Mann sei oder ein Weib, oder eine Familie oder ein Stamm, der heute sein Herz wende von Jehovah, unserem Gott, um zu gehen, zu dienen den Göttern dieser Völkerschaften, daß nicht unter euch sei eine Wurzel, die mit Galle und Wermut fruchtbar sei;
Lest perauenture among you be man ether womman, meyne ether lynage, whos herte is turned away to dai fro youre Lord God, that he go, and serue the goddis of tho folkis; and a roote buriounnynge galle and bitternesse be among you;
19 Und es geschehe, daß er, wenn er die Worte dieses Eides hört, sich in seinem Herzen segne und spreche: Friede ist mir, wenn gleich ich in meines Herzens Eigensinn wandle, um das Schwelgende mit dem Dürstenden wegzuraffen.
and whanne he hath herd the wordis of this ooth, he blesse hym silf in his herte, and seie, Pees schal be to me, and Y schal go in the schrewidnesse of myn herte; and lest the drunkun take the thirsti,
20 Jehovah ist nicht willens ihm zu vergeben, vielmehr wird dann Jehovahs Zorn und Sein Eifer rauchen wider diesen Mann, und auf ihm lagern alle Verwünschung, die in diesem Buch geschrieben ist, und Jehovah wird seinen Namen unter den Himmeln auswischen;
and the Lord forgyue not to hym, but thanne ful greetli his strong veniaunce be feers, and the feruour ayens that man, and alle the cursis that ben writun in this book `sitte on hym; and `the Lord do away his name vndur heuene,
21 Und Jehovah wird ihn ausscheiden zum Übel aus allen Stämmen Israels, nach all den Verwünschungen des Bundes, der im Buche dieses Gesetzes geschrieben ist.
and waaste hym in to perdicioun fro alle the lynagis of Israel, bi the cursis that ben conteyned in the book of this lawe and of boond of pees.
22 Und sprechen wird das spätere Geschlecht, eure Söhne, die nach euch erstehen, und der Ausländer, der aus fernem Lande kommt, und die sehen die Schläge dieses Landes und seine Krankheiten, die Jehovah sie erkranken läßt:
And the generacioun suynge schal seie, and the sones that schulen be borun aftirward, and pilgrimys that schulen come fro fer, seynge the veniauncis of that lond, and the sikenessis bi whiche the Lord turmentide that lond,
23 Schwefel und Salz, eine Brandstätte wird all ihr Land sein, wird nicht besät werden, und nicht sprossen, und wird in ihm kein Kraut aufgehen, wie mit der Umkehrung von Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah und Zeboim, die Jehovah in Seinem Zorn und Grimm hat umgekehrt;
brennynge `that lond with brymston and heete of the sunne, so that it be no more sowun, nether bringe forth ony grene thing, in to ensaumple of destriyng of Sodom and of Gommorre, of Adama and of Seboym, whiche the Lord destriede in his ire and stronge veniaunce.
24 Und alle Völkerschaften werden sprechen: Warum hat Jehovah also diesem Lande getan? Warum großer Zorn entbrannt?
And alle folkis schulen seie, Whi dide the Lord so to this lond? What is the greet ire of his stronge veniaunce?
25 Und sie werden sagen: Darum, daß sie verließen den Bund Jehovahs, ihrer Väter Gott, den Er mit ihnen geschlossen, da Er sie aus Ägyptenland ausführte,
and thei schulen answere, For thei forsoken the couenaunt of the Lord, whiche he couenauntide with her fadris, whanne he ledde hem out of the lond of Egipt,
26 Und gegangen sind und anderen Göttern dienten und sie anbeteten, Götter, die sie nicht kannten, und die ihnen nicht verteilt worden sind.
and thei serueden alien goddis, and worschipiden hem, whiche thei knewen not, and to whiche thei weren not youun;
27 Und es entbrannte Jehovahs Zorn wider dieses Land, so daß Er all den Fluch, der in diesem Buch geschrieben steht, über dasselbe hat gebracht.
therfor the strong veniaunce of the Lord was wrooth ayens this lond, that he brouyte yn on it alle the cursis that ben writun in this book;
28 Und Jehovah rodete sie aus von ihrem Boden, in Zorn und in Grimm und in großer Entrüstung, und warf sie in ein anderes Land, wie an diesem Tag.
and he castide hem out of her lond, in ire and strong veniaunce, and in gretteste indignacioun; and he castide forth in to an alien lond, as it is preued to dai.
29 Das Geheime ist Jehovahs, unseres Gottes, und das Geoffenbarte unser und unsrer Söhne ewiglich, zu tun all die Worte dieses Gesetzes.
Thingis ben hid of oure Lord God, `that is, in his biforknowing, whiche thingis ben schewid to us, and to oure sones with outen ende, that we do alle the wordis of this lawe.
