Apostelgeschichte 15
1 Es kamen etliche herab von Judäa und wollten die Brüder lehren: Wenn ihr euch nicht nach dem Gesetz Moses beschneiden lasset, so könnt ihr nicht selig werden.
Some men came down from Yehuda and taught the brothers, "Unless you are circumcised after the custom of Mushe, you cannot be saved."
2 Da sich nun nicht geringe Unruhe erhob, und Paulus und Barnabas mit ihnen in Streit gerieten, beschloß man, Paulus und Barnabas und einige andere aus ihrer Mitte wegen dieser Streitfrage an die Apostel und Ältesten nach Jerusalem abzuordnen.
Therefore when Paul and Bar-Naba had no small discord and discussion with them, they appointed Paul and Bar-Naba, and some others of them, to go up to Urishlim to the apostles and elders about this question.
3 Die Gemeinde gab ihnen das Geleit, und sie zogen durch Phönizien und Samarien, erzählten von der Bekehrung der Heiden und erregten große Freude bei allen Brüdern.
They, being sent on their way by the church, passed through both Phoenicia and Samaria, describing in detail the conversion of the non-Jewish people. They caused great joy to all the brothers.
4 Als sie nach Jerusalem kamen, wurden sie von der Gemeinde und den Aposteln und Ältesten empfangen und verkündeten, wie viel Gott mit ihnen ausgerichtet habe.
When they had come to Urishlim, they were received by the church and the apostles and the elders, and they reported all things that God had done with them.
5 Da traten etliche auf von der Sekte der Pharisäer, die gläubig geworden waren, und sagten: Man muß sie beschneiden und ihnen anbefehlen, Mose Gesetz zu halten.
But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying, "It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the Law of Mushe."
6 Die Apostel und Ältesten aber traten nun zusammen, um die Sache in Betrachtung zu nehmen.
The apostles and the elders were gathered together to see about this matter.
7 Da nun viel darüber gestritten wurde, trat Petrus auf und sprach zu ihnen: Männer, Brüder, ihr wißt, daß vor längerer Zeit Gott unter uns verordnet hat, daß durch meinen Mund die Heiden das Wort des Evangeliums hören und gläubig werden sollten.
When there had been much discussion, Kipha rose up and said to them, "Brothers, you know that a good while ago God made a choice among you, that by my mouth the nations should hear the word of the Good News, and believe.
8 Und Gott, der Herzenskündiger, zeugte für sie, indem Er ihnen, wie uns, den Heiligen Geist gegeben hat.
God, who knows the heart, testified about them by giving the Rukha d'Qudsha, just like he did to us.
9 Und hat nicht zwischen uns und ihnen unterschieden, indem Er durch den Glauben ihre Herzen gereinigt hat.
He made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.
10 Was versucht ihr nun Gott, daß ihr dem Nacken der Jünger ein Joch wollt auflegen, das weder unsere Väter noch wir zu tragen vermochten.
Now therefore why do you tempt God, that you should put a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
11 Vielmehr glauben wir, daß wir durch die Gnade des Herrn Jesus, so wie jene, selig werden.
But we believe that we are saved through the grace of the Lord Yeshua, just as they are."
12 Da schwieg die ganze Versammlung und hörte, wie Barnabas und Paulus erzählten, wie viel Zeichen und Wunder Gott durch sie unter den Heiden getan hatte.
And all the people kept quiet, and they listened to Bar-Naba and Paul reporting what signs and wonders God had done among the nations through them.
13 Nachdem sie ausgeredet hatten, hob Jakobus an: Männer, Brüder, hört mir zu.
After they were silent, Yaquv answered, "Brothers, listen to me.
14 Simon hat erzählt, wie es Gott zuerst gefallen hat, aus den Heiden ein Volk auf Seinen Namen anzunehmen.
Shimon has reported how God first visited the nations, to take out of them a people for his name.
15 Auch stimmen damit überein die Worte der Propheten, wie denn geschrieben steht:
This agrees with the words of the prophets. As it is written,
16 Danach will Ich wiederkommen und aufbauen das zerfallene Zelt Davids und will seine Trümmer wieder aufbauen und dasselbe aufrichten;
'After these things I will return; and I will rebuild the tabernacle of David that has fallen, and I will rebuild its ruins, and I will restore it,
17 Auf daß die übrigen Menschen den Herrn suchen, sowie alle die Völkerschaften, die nach Meinem Namen werden genannt werden.
that the rest of humanity may seek after the Lord, and all the nations who are called by my name, says the Lord, who makes these things
known from long ago.' (aiōn g165)
19 Darum halte ich dafür, daß man denen aus der Heidenwelt, die sich zu Gott bekehren, keine Beschwerde mache;
"Therefore my judgment is that we do not trouble those from among the non-Jewish people who turn to God,
20 Sondern ihnen schreibe, sie sollten sich der Befleckungen der Götzenmahle, der Hurerei, des Erstickten und des Blutes enthalten.
but that we write to them that they abstain from things defiled by idols, from sexual immorality, from what is strangled, and from blood.
21 Denn Moses hat von alten Zeiten her in jeder Stadt solche, die ihn verkündigen und wird an jedem Sabbath in den Synagogen gelesen.
For Mushe from generations of old has in every city those who proclaim him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath."
22 Hierauf fanden die Apostel und die Ältesten samt der ganzen Gemeinde für gut, aus ihrer Mitte Männer zu wählen und sie mit Paulus und Barnabas nach Antiochia zu senden, nämlich Judas, mit dem Zunamen Barsabas, und Silas, Männer, die bei den Brüdern in Ansehen standen.
Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with the whole church, to choose men out of their company, and send them to Antioch with Paul and Bar-Naba: Yehudah called Bar-Shaba, and Silas, leaders among the brothers.
23 Und schrieben ihnen durch sie also: Die Apostel und die Ältesten und die Brüder entbieten den Brüdern aus dem Heidentum in Antiochia, Syrien und Cilicien ihren Gruß.
They wrote these things by their hand: "The apostles, the elders, and the brothers, to the non-Jewish brothers who are in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia: greetings.
24 Weil wir gehört haben, daß etliche der Unseren hinausgingen und euch in Unruhe versetzten und mit Lehren eure Gemüter verwirrten und sagten: Ihr müßtet euch beschneiden lassen und das Gesetz halten, ohne daß wir ihnen Auftrag gegeben,
Because we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, to whom we gave no commandment;
25 Hat es uns gut gedünkt, einmütig versammelt, Männer zu erwählen und an euch zu senden mit unseren Geliebten Barnabas und Paulus;
it seemed good to us, having come to one accord, to choose out men and send them to you with our beloved Bar-Naba and Paul,
26 Männer, die dem Namen unseres Herrn Jesus Christus ihr Leben geweiht haben.
who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Yeshua Meshikha.
27 So haben wir nun Judas und Silas abgesandt, die auch mündlich dasselbe verkündigen.
We have sent therefore Yehudah and Silas, who themselves will also tell you the same things by word of mouth.
28 Denn es hat dem Heiligen Geist und uns gefallen, euch keine weitere Bürde aufzulegen, als nur die drei notwendigen Stücke:
For it seemed good to the Rukha d'Qudsha, and to us, to lay no greater burden on you than these necessary things:
29 Daß ihr euch enthaltet der Götzenmahle, des Blutes, des Erstickten und der Hurerei. Wenn ihr euch deren enthaltet, so wird es euch wohlergehen. Gehabt euch wohl!
that you abstain from things sacrificed to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality, from which if you keep yourselves, it will be well with you. Farewell."
30 Als diese abgefertigt waren, kamen sie nach Antiochia, versammelten die Menge und übergaben den Brief.
So, when they were sent off, they came to Antioch, and having gathered the congregation together, they delivered the letter.
31 Als sie solchen lasen, freuten sie sich über den Trost.
When they had read it, they rejoiced over the encouragement.
32 Judas und Silas, die selbst Propheten waren, ermahnten die Brüder mit vielen Reden und bestärkten sie.
Yehudah and Silas, also being prophets themselves, encouraged the brothers with many words, and strengthened them.
33 Als sie eine Zeitlang dort sich aufgehalten, wurden sie von den Brüdern mit Segenswünschen entlassen an die Apostel.
After they had spent some time there, they were sent back with greetings from the brothers to those that had sent them forth.
34 Silas zog vor, dort zu bleiben.
However, Silas decided to remain there.
35 Paulus aber und Barnabas verweilten in Antiochia, lehrten und predigten samt vielen anderen das Wort des Herrn.
And Paul and Bar-Naba stayed in Antioch, teaching and proclaiming the word of the Lord, with many others also.
36 Nach einiger Zeit sagte Paulus zu Barnabas: Wir wollen umkehren und von Stadt zu Stadt, wo wir das Wort des Herrn verkündigt haben, nachsehen, wie es um die Brüder steht.
After some days Paul said to Bar-Naba, "Let us return now and visit our brothers in every city in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord, to see how they are doing."
37 Barnabas aber war Rats, sie sollten auch Johannes, mit dem Zunamen Markus, mit sich nehmen.
Bar-Naba planned to take Yukhanan, who was called Markos, with them also.
38 Paulus aber achtete es für besser, ihn, der in Pamphylien von ihnen gewichen und nicht mit ihnen zum Werke gezogen, nicht mitzunehmen.
But Paul did not think that it was a good idea to take with them someone who had withdrawn from them in Pamphylia, and did not go with them to do the work.
39 Sie gerieten scharf aneinander, also, daß sie sich voneinander trennten, und Barnabas Markus zu sich nahm und nach Zypern schiffte.
Then the contention grew so sharp that they separated from each other. Bar-Naba took Markos with him, and sailed away to Cyprus,
40 Paulus aber wählte Silas und zog aus, von den Brüdern der Gnade Gottes empfohlen.
but Paul chose Silas, and went out, being commended by the brothers to the grace of the Lord.
41 Er nahm seinen Weg durch Syrien und Cilicien und bestärkte die Gemeinden.
He went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the congregations.
