Apostelgeschichte 13

1 Es waren aber in Antiochia in der dortigen Gemeinde Propheten und Lehrer, Barnabas und Simeon, mit dem Zunamen Niger, Lucius aus Cyrene und Manahen, Milchbruder des Vierfürsten Herodes, und Saulus.

But there were in the church of Antiokia prophets and teachers, Bar Naba and Shemun who was called Niger, and Lukios who was from the city of Kyrene, and Manael, a fosterbrother of Herodes Tetrarka, and Shaol.

2 Da sie aber dem Herrn dienten und fasteten, sprach der Heilige Geist zu ihnen: Sondert mir Barnabas und Saulus zu dem Werk aus, für das ich sie berufen habe.

And as they fasted and supplicated Aloha, the Spirit of Holiness said to them, Separate to me Shaol and Bar Naba for the work to which I have called them.

3 Da fasteten und beteten sie und legten ihnen die Hände auf und entließen sie.

And after they had fasted and prayed, they laid upon them the hand, and dismissed them.

4 Diese nun, vom Heiligen Geist ausgesandt, kamen hinab nach Seleucia und fuhren von da nach Zypern ab.

And they, being sent by the Spirit of Holiness, went down to Selukia, and from thence proceeded by sea to Cyprus.

5 In Salamis angekommen, predigten sie das Wort Gottes in den Synagogen der Juden und hatten den Johannes als Gehilfen mit sich.

And when they had entered the city Salamina, they preached the word of our Lord in the congregations of the Jihudoyee, and Juhanon ministered to them.

6 Sie durchzogen die ganze Insel bis nach Paphos, wo sie einen Zauberer und falschen Propheten fanden, der ein Jude war und der Barjesus hieß,

And when they had itinerated through the whole island unto the city Paphos, they found a man, a certain sorcerer, a Jihudoya, who was a false prophet, whose name was Bar Shuma.

7 Der war bei dem Proconsul Sergius Paulus, einem verständigen Mann. Dieser ließ Barnabas und Saulus vor sich rufen und begehrte das Wort Gottes zu hören.

This adhered to a wise man who was proconsul, and was called Sergius Paulos. And the proconsul called Shaol and Bar Naba and requested to hear from them the word of Aloha.

8 Es widerstand ihnen aber der Zauberer Elymas, denn so wird dessen Name verdolmetscht, und suchte den Statthalter vom Glauben abzuwenden.

But this sorcerer, Bar Shuma, whose name interpreted is Elymos, stood against them, because he desired to avert the proconsul from faith.

9 Saulus aber, der auch Paulus heißt, vom Heiligen Geist erfüllt, schaute ihn an,

But Shaol, he who is called PAULOS, was filled with the Spirit of Holiness, and beheld him,

10 Und sprach: O du, voll aller Arglist und Schalkheit, Kind des Teufels, Feind aller Gerechtigkeit, wirst du nicht aufhören, die geraden Wege des Herrn zu verkehren?

and said, O full of all deceits and all wickednesses, thou son of the devil, and adversary of all righteousness, ceasest thou not to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

11 Und siehe, die Hand des Herrn ist über dir und du sollst blind sein und die Sonne nicht schauen eine Zeitlang. Und von Stund an fiel auf ihn Dunkelheit und Finsternis, und er tappte umher und suchte Handleiter.

And now the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, and not see the sun until the time. And in the hour there fell upon him obscurity and darkness, and he went about asking some one to hold him by the hand.

12 Als der Statthalter sah, was geschehen war, glaubte er und war von Staunen erfüllt über die Lehre des Herrn.

But when the proconsul saw what had been done, he wondered, and believed in the doctrine of the Lord.

13 Paulus aber, und die mit ihm waren, schifften sich von Paphos ein und kamen nach Perge in Pamphylien. Johannes aber schied von ihnen und kehrte zurück nach Jerusalem.

BUT Paulos and Bar Naba went on by sea from the City Paphos, and came to Perga, a city of Pamphylia; and Juhanon separated from them, and went to Urishlem.

14 Sie aber zogen von Perge weiter und gelangten nach Antiochia in Pisidien und begaben sich am Sabbathtage in die Synagoge und setzten sich.

But they went forth from Perga, and came to Antiokia, the city of Pisidia. And they entered the synagogue, and sat on the day of shabath.

15 Nach Lesung des Gesetzes und der Propheten ließen ihnen die Vorsteher der Synagoge sagen: Männer, Brüder, habt ihr ein Wort der Ermahnung an das Volk, so sprecht.

And after the law and the prophets had been read, the presbyters of the synagogue sent to them, and said, Men, brethren, have you a word of exhortation to say to the people?

16 Da stand Paulus auf, winkte mit der Hand und sprach: Männer von Israel, und die ihr Gott fürchtet, höret zu.

And Paulos arose, and signed with his hand, and said to them:

17 Der Gott dieses Volkes hat unsere Väter erwählt und das Volk während ihres Aufenthaltes in Ägyptenland erhöht und mit hohem Arm sie von da ausgeführt.

Men, sons of Israel, and those who fear Aloha, hearken! The God of this people elected our fathers, and exalted and magnified them, when they were sojourners in the land of Metsreen, and with uplifted arm brought them out therefrom

18 Und hat sie bei vierzig Jahren gepflegt und ernährt in der Wüste.

And he nourished them in the desert forty years.

19 Und nachdem Er sieben Völker im Lande Kanaan vertilgt, gab Er ihnen ihr Land nach dem Los zum Erbe.

And he destroyed seven nations in the land of Canaan, and gave them their land an inheritance. And four hundred and fifty years

20 Und danach gab Er ihnen bei vierhundertfünfzig Jahren Richter bis auf den Propheten Samuel.

he gave them judges, until Shamuel the prophet;

21 Von da an verlangten sie einen König, und Gott gab ihnen Saul, den Sohn von Kis, einen Mann aus dem Stamme Benjamin, vierzig Jahre lang.

and then prayed they for themselves a king; and Aloha gave to them Shaol-bar-Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, forty years.

22 Und nachdem Er diesen weggetan, stellte Er für sie David als König auf und zeugte für ihn: Ich habe David, den Sohn Jesses gefunden, einen Mann nach Meinem Herzen, der allen Meinen Willen tun soll.

And he took him, and raised unto them David the king, and testified of him, and said, I have found David, the son of Jeshai, a man according to my heart; he will perform all my will.

23 Aus dessen Samen ließ Gott nach der Verheißung Jesus zum Retter für Israel kommen,

From the seed of this (man) the God of Israel, as he had promised, raised up Jeshu the Redeemer.

24 Nachdem Johannes vor Seinem Auftreten dem ganzen Volke Israel die Taufe der Buße gepredigt hatte.

And he sent Juhanon to proclaim before his coming the baptism of repentance to the whole people of Israel.

25 Wie nun Johannes seinen Lauf erfüllte, sprach er: Für wen haltet ihr mich? Ich bin es nicht; aber siehe, es kommt nach mir Einer, Dem ich nicht wert bin, den Schuhriemen aufzulösen.

And while Juhanon accomplished his ministry, he said, Whom think you that I am? I am not (he), but, behold, he cometh after me, he, the latchet of whose sandals I am not worthy to unloose.

26 Männer, Brüder, Söhne vom Geschlecht Abrahams, und die unter euch Gott fürchten, an euch ist das Wort dieses Heils gesandt.

MEN, brethren, sons of the race of Abraham, and they among you who fear Aloha, unto you is sent the word of life.

27 Denn die in Jerusalem wohnen und ihre Oberen haben Ihn verkannt und damit die Stimmen der Propheten, die jeden Sabbath vorgelesen werden, durch ihre Verurteilung in Erfüllung gebracht.

For they, the inhabitants of Urishlem and their princes, have not consented thereto, nor also to the writings of the prophets which are read on every shabath; but condemned him, and accomplished all that was written.

28 Obwohl sie keine Schuld des Todes an Ihm fanden, verlangten sie von Pilatus, daß Er zum Tode gebracht würde.

And while they found not any cause of death, they requested Pilatos that they might kill him.

29 Als sie alles, was von Ihm geschrieben steht, erfüllt hatten, nahmen sie Ihn vom Kreuz und legten Ihn in das Grab.

And when they had fulfilled every thing that was written concerning him, they took him from the cross, and laid him in a sepulchre.

30 Gott aber hat Ihn von den Toten auferweckt.

But Aloha raised him from among the dead.

31 Er ist viele Tage erschienen denen, die mit Ihm aus Galiläa nach Jerusalem hinaufgezogen und nun Seine Zeugen sind vor dem Volk.

And he was seen days many by those who had come up with him from Galila to Urishlem, and they are now his witnesses unto the people.

32 Und auch wir verkünden euch die frohe Botschaft der Verheißung, die den Vätern geworden,

And we also, behold, we preach to you that that promise which was made to our fathers,

33 Daß solche Gott uns, deren Kindern, durch die Auferweckung Jesu erfüllt hat, wie im zweiten Psalm geschrieben steht: Mein Sohn bist Du, Ich habe heute Dich gezeugt.

behold, Aloha hath fulfilled it to their children, (in) that he hath raised up Jeshu; as it is written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son; This day have I begotten thee.

34 Daß Er Ihn aber von den Toten auferweckt, und Er nimmer sollte zur Verwesung wiederkehren, hat Er mit den Worten ausgesprochen: Das Heilige Davids, das Unverbrüchliche will Ich euch geben.

And thus did Aloha raise him from among the dead, that again he should not return thither to see corruption; as he had said, I will give you the sure grace of David.

35 Deshalb sagt Er auch an einer anderen Stelle: Du wirst nicht zulassen, daß Dein Heiliger die Verwesung sehe.

And again he hath said in another place, Thou hast not given thy Saint to see corruption.

36 Denn David, da er zu seiner Zeit dem Willen Gottes gedient hatte, ist entschlafen und zu seinen Vätern versammelt worden, und hat die Verwesung gesehen.

For David in his generation served the will of Aloha, and slept, and was added to his fathers, and saw corruption.

37 Er aber, Den Gott hat auferweckt, hat die Verwesung nicht gesehen.

But This whom Aloha raised saw no corruption.

38 So sei euch denn kundgetan, Männer und Brüder, daß durch Diesen euch Vergebung der Sünden verkündigt wird.

Know then, brethren, that through This himself is preached to you the remission of sins;

39 Und von allem, davon ihr im Gesetz Moses nicht konntet gerechtfertigt werden, wird in Diesem ein jeglicher, der da glaubt, gerechtfertigt.

and from all (from) which we could not by the law of Musha be justified, through This all who believe are justified.

40 Seht nun zu, daß nicht über euch komme, was in den Propheten gesagt worden ist:

Beware, then, lest there come upon you that which is written in the prophets:

41 Seht, ihr Verächter, erstaunt und werdet zuschanden; denn Ich tue ein Werk in euren Tagen, an das ihr nicht glauben werdet, so es euch einer erzählt.

Behold, despisers, and wonder, and perish: For a work I work in your days Which you will not believe if one should declare it to you.

42 Als nun die Juden aus der Synagoge kamen, baten die Heiden, daß ihnen auf den folgenden Sabbath diese Worte geredet würden.

And when they had gone out from among them, they besought of them that the next shabath they would speak to them these words.

43 Als nun die Synagoge auseinanderging, folgten viele Juden und gottesfürchtige Proselyten Paulus und Barnabas. Diese redeten zu ihnen und vermahnten sie, in der Gnade Gottes zu beharren.

And when the congregation was dissolved, many Jihudoyee went after them; and also the proselytes who worshipped Aloha. And they discoursed (with) and persuaded them to cleave to the grace of Aloha.

44 Und am folgenden Sabbath versammelte sich beinahe die ganze Stadt, um das Wort Gottes zu hören.

AND on the next shabath the whole city gathered to hear the word of Aloha.

45 Da nun die Juden die Menge Volks sahen, wurden sie voll Neides und widersprachen dem, was von Paulus gesagt wurde, widersprachen und lästerten.

And when the Jihudoyee saw the great assemblage, they were filled with envy, and arose against the words which Paulos spake, and blasphemed.

46 Paulus aber und Barnabas erklärten frei öffentlich: Zu euch mußte zuerst das Wort Gottes geredet werden; nun ihr es aber von euch stoßt, und euch selbst nicht würdig erachtet des ewigen Lebens, siehe, so wenden wir uns zu den Heiden. (aiōnios g166)

But Paulos and Bar Naba said to them openly, To you it behoved first to speak the word of Aloha; but because you repel it from you, and determine against yourselves that you are not worthy of eternal life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles. (aiōnios g166)

47 Denn also hat uns der Herr geboten: Ich habe Dich zum Licht für die Heiden gesetzt, auf daß Du zum Heile werdest bis an das Ende der Erde.

For so hath our Lord commanded, as it is written, I have set thee a light to the Gentiles, To be for salvation to the ends of the earth.

48 Da dies die Heiden hörten, freuten sie sich und priesen das Wort des Herrn und wurden gläubig alle, so bestimmt waren zum ewigen Leben. (aiōnios g166)

And when the Gentiles heard, they rejoiced and glorified Aloha; and they believed who were disposed unto eternal life. (aiōnios g166)

49 Und des Herrn Wort verbreitete sich durch das ganze Land.

And the word of Aloha was spoken in all that region.

50 Die Juden aber reizten auf die frommen und ehrbaren Weiber und die Oberen der Stadt und erregten eine Verfolgung wider Paulus und Barnabas, und stießen sie zu ihren Grenzen hinaus.

But the Jihudoyee excited the principal men of the city and rich women, who with them feared Aloha, and raised a persecution against Paulos and against Bar Naba, and cast them out from their bounds.

51 Sie aber schüttelten den Staub von ihren Füßen über sie und kamen nach Ikonium.

And as they went forth, they shook off against them the dust of their feet; and they came to Ikanon, a city.

52 Die Jünger aber wurden voll Freude und Heiligen Geistes.

And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Spirit of Holiness.
