1 Samuel 31
1 Und die Philister stritten gegen Israel, und die Männer Israels flohen vor den Philistern und fielen erschlagen auf dem Gebirge Gilboa.
and Philistine to fight in/on/with Israel and to flee human Israel from face: before Philistine and to fall: kill slain: killed in/on/with mountain: mount [the] (Mount) Gilboa
2 Und die Philister hängten sich an Saul und seine Söhne, und die Philister schlugen Jonathan und Abinadab und Malkischua, die Söhne Sauls.
and to cleave Philistine [obj] Saul and [obj] son: child his and to smite Philistine [obj] Jonathan and [obj] Abinadab and [obj] Malchi-shua Malchi-shua son: child Saul
3 Und der Streit war schwer für Saul; und es trafen ihn die Schützen, die Männer mit dem Bogen, und er war sehr verwundet von den Schützen.
and to honor: heavy [the] battle to(wards) Saul and to find him [the] to shoot human in/on/with bow and to twist: writh in pain much from [the] to shoot
4 Und Saul sprach zu seinem Waffenträger: Ziehe dein Schwert und durchstich mich damit, daß diese Unbeschnittenen nicht kommen und mich durchstechen und mißhandeln. Aber sein Waffenträger war nicht willens; denn er fürchtete sich sehr. Und Saul nahm das Schwert und fiel darauf.

5 Und sein Waffenträger sah, daß Saul tot war, und auch er fiel auf sein Schwert und starb mit ihm.
and to see: see to lift: bearing(armour) article/utensil his for to die Saul and to fall: fall also he/she/it upon sword his and to die with him
6 Und es starb Saul und seine drei Söhne und sein Waffenträger, auch alle seine Männer an selbigem Tage allzumal.
and to die Saul and three son: child his and to lift: bearing(armour) article/utensil his also all human his in/on/with day [the] he/she/it together
7 Und die Männer Israels, die diesseits des Talgrundes und diesseits des Jordan waren, sahen, daß die Männer Israels geflohen und Saul und seine Söhne tot waren, und sie verlie-ßen die Städte und flohen, und die Philister kamen und wohnten darin.
and to see: see human Israel which in/on/with side: beside [the] valley and which in/on/with side: beyond [the] Jordan for to flee human Israel and for to die Saul and son: child his and to leave: forsake [obj] [the] city and to flee and to come (in): come Philistine and to dwell in/on/with them
8 Und es geschah am morgenden Tag, da kamen die Philister, um die Erschlagenen auszuziehen, und fanden Saul und seine drei Söhne auf dem Gebirge Gilboa gefallen,
and to be from morrow and to come (in): come Philistine to/for to strip [obj] [the] slain: killed and to find [obj] Saul and [obj] three son: child his to fall: fall in/on/with mountain: mount [the] (Mount) Gilboa
9 Und schnitten ihm den Kopf ab, und zogen ihm seine Waffen aus und sandten sie im Lande der Philister umher, es in dem Hause ihrer Götzen und dem Volke zu verkünden.
and to cut: eliminate [obj] head his and to strip [obj] article/utensil his and to send: depart in/on/with land: country/planet Philistine around: whole to/for to bear tidings house: home idol their and [obj] [the] people
10 Und seine Waffen legten sie in das Haus der Aschtaroth und seinen Leib schlugen sie an an die Mauer von Beth-Schan.
and to set: put [obj] article/utensil his house: temple Ashtaroth and [obj] body his to blow in/on/with wall Beth-shean Beth-shean
11 Und die Bewohner von Jabesch in Gilead hörten davon, was die Philister dem Saul getan,
and to hear: hear to(wards) him to dwell Jabesh (Jabesh)-gilead [obj] which to make: do Philistine to/for Saul
12 Und es machten sich alle tapferen Männer auf und gingen die ganze Nacht hindurch und nahmen den Leib Sauls und die Leiber seiner Söhne von der Mauer von Beth- Schan und brachten sie nach Jabesch und verbrannten sie daselbst.
and to arise: rise all man strength and to go: went all [the] night and to take: take [obj] body Saul and [obj] body son: child his from wall Beth-shean Beth-shean and to come (in): come Jabesh (Gilead) [to] and to burn [obj] them there
13 Und ihre Gebeine nahmen sie und begruben sie unter dem Hainbaum in Jabesch und fasteten sieben Tage.
and to take: take [obj] bone their and to bury underneath: under [the] tamarisk in/on/with Jabesh (Gilead) [to] and to fast seven day
