1 Johannes 2
1 Meine Kindlein, solches schreibe ich euch, auf daß ihr nicht sündigt; und so einer gesündigt hat, haben wir einen Beistand beim Vater, Jesus Christus, den Gerechten.
My dear children! these things, am I writing unto you, in order that ye may not be committing sin. And, if anyone should commit sin, an Advocate, have we, with the Father, Jesus Christ, the Righteous;
2 Und Er ist die Versöhnung für unsere Sünden, nicht allein aber für die unseren, sondern auch für die der ganzen Welt.
And, he, is, a propitiation, concerning our sins, —and, not concerning our own only, but, also concerning those of the whole world.
3 Und daran erkennen wir, daß wir Ihn erkannt haben, so wir Seine Gebote halten.
And, hereby, perceive we, that we understand him, —if, his commandments, we are keeping.
4 Wer da sagt: Ich kenne Ihn, und hält Seine Gebote nicht, der ist ein Lügner und in solchem ist die Wahrheit nicht.
He that saith—I understand him! And, his commandments, is not keeping, is false, and, in him, the truth is not!
5 Wer aber Sein Wort hält, in dem ist in Wahrheit die Liebe vollkommen geworden. Daran erkennen wir, daß wir in Ihm sind.
But whosoever may be keeping his word, of a truth, in this man, the love of God hath been made perfect. Hereby, perceive we, that, in him, we are.
6 Wer da sagt, er bleibe in Ihm, der muß auch wandeln, gleich wie Er gewandelt hat.
He that saith, that, in him, he abideth, ought, just as He walked, himself also, to be walking.
7 Brüder, ich schreibe euch kein neu Gebot, sondern ein alt Gebot, das ihr von Anfang an hattet; und das alte Gebot ist das Wort, das ihr von Anfang an gehört habt.
Beloved! no new commandment, am I writing unto you; but an old commandment, which ye have been holding from the beginning: The old commandment is the word which ye have heard.
8 Wiederum schreibe ich euch ein neu Gebot, das wahr ist in Ihm und in euch; denn die Finsternis geht vorbei und das wahre Licht scheint bereits.
Again, a new commandment, am I writing unto you, —which thing is true, in him and in you, because, the darkness, is passing away, and, the real light, already is shining.
9 Wer da sagt, er sei im Licht, und haßt seinen Bruder, der ist noch in der Finsternis.
He that saith he is, in the light, and hateth, his brother, is, in the darkness, until even now!
10 Wer seinen Bruder liebt, der bleibt im Licht, und kein Ärgernis ist in ihm.
He that loveth his brother, is abiding, in the light, and, cause of stumbling, in him, is there none.
11 Wer aber seinen Bruder haßt, der ist in der Finsternis und wandelt in der Finsternis, und weiß nicht, wohin er geht, weil die Finsternis seine Augen verblendet hat.
Whereas, he that hateth his brother, in the darkness, dwelleth, and in the darkness, walketh; and knoweth not whither he is drifting, because the, darkness, hath blinded his eyes.
12 Ich schreibe euch, Kindlein, weil die Sünden euch um Seines Namens willen vergeben sind.
I write unto you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven you, for the sake of his name:
13 Ich schreibe euch, Väter, weil ihr Den, Der von Anfang ist, erkannt habt. Ich schreibe euch, Jüngere, weil ihr den Bösen überwunden habt. Ich schreibe euch, Kindlein, weil ihr den Vater erkannt habt.
I write unto you, fathers, because ye understand him who was from the beginning: I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I have written unto you, little children, because ye understand the Father:
14 Ich habe euch, Väter, geschrieben, weil ihr Den, Der von Anfang ist, erkannt habt. Ich habe euch, Jüngere, geschrieben, weil ihr stark seid und das Wort Gottes in euch bleibt und ihr den Bösen überwunden habt.
I have written unto you, fathers, because ye understand him who was from the beginning: I have written you, young men, because ye are, strong, and the word of God, within you, abideth, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
15 Habt nicht lieb die Welt, noch was in der Welt ist. So jemand die Welt lieb hat, in dem ist die Liebe des Vaters nicht.
Be not loving the world, nor yet the things that are in the world: if anyone be loving the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 Denn alles, was in der Welt ist, des Fleisches Lust und der Augen Lust und die Hoffart des Lebens, ist nicht vom Vater, sondern von der Welt.
Because, all that is in the world—the coveting of the flesh, the coveting of the eyes, and the vain grandeur of life—is not of the Father, but is, of the world;
17 Und die Welt vergeht mit ihrer Lust; wer aber den Willen Gottes tut, der bleibt in Ewigkeit. (aiōn g165)
And, the world, passeth away, and the coveting [thereof], but, he that doeth the will of God, endureth unto times age-abiding. (aiōn g165)
18 Kindlein, es ist die letzte Stunde; und wie ihr gehört habt, daß der Widerchrist kommt, so sind auch jetzt schon viele Widerchristen gekommen. Daran erkennen wir, daß es um die letzte Stunde ist.
Little children! it is, the last hour; and, just as ye have heard that, an antichrist, is coming, even now, antichrists have become, many, whence we perceive that it is, the last hour:
19 Von uns sind sie ausgegangen, sie waren aber nicht von uns; denn wenn sie von uns gewesen wären, so wären sie bei uns geblieben; aber es sollte offenbar werden, daß sie nicht alle von uns sind.
From among us, they went out, but they were not of us; for, if, of us, they had been, they would in that case have abode with us; but [it came to pass] in order that they might be made manifest, because, all, are not of us.
20 Und ihr habt die Weihe vom Heiligen und wißt alles.
And, ye, have, an anointing, from the Holy One, —Ye all, know:
21 Ich habe nicht an euch geschrieben, als ob ihr die Wahrheit nicht wüßtet, sondern weil ihr sie wißt, und daß keine Lüge aus der Wahrheit kommt.
I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and because, no falsehood, is, of the truth.
22 Denn wer ist der Lügner, wo nicht der, so da leugnet, daß Jesus der Christ ist? Der ist der Widerchrist, der den Vater und den Sohn verleugnet.
Who, is the False One; —save he that denieth that, Jesus, is the Christ? The same, is the Antichrist, —he that denieth the Father and the Son.
23 Jeder, der den Sohn verleugnet, hat auch den Vater nicht.
Whosoever denieth the Son, neither hath he, the Father: He that confesseth the Son, hath, the Father also.
24 Was ihr denn von Anfang gehört habt, das bleibe in euch. Wenn in euch bleibt, was ihr von Anfang an gehört habt, so werdet ihr auch in dem Sohne und in dem Vater bleiben.
As for you, what ye have heard from the beginning, in you, let it abide. If, in you, shall abide, that which, from the beginning, ye have heard, ye also, in the Son, and [in] the Father, shall abide.
And, this, is the promise, which he hath promised unto us, —The age-abiding life. (aiōnios g166)
26 Solches habe ich euch geschrieben wegen derer, die euch verführen wollen.
These things, have I written unto you, concerning them who would lead you astray.
27 Und die Salbung, die ihr von Ihm empfangen habt, bleibt in euch, und ihr bedürft nicht, daß euch jemand lehre, sondern wie eben die Salbung euch belehrt über alles, so ist sie auch wahr und ist keine Lüge, und wie sie euch gelehrt hat, so bleibt dabei.
And, as for you, the anointing which ye have received from him, abideth in you, and ye have, no need, that anyone be teaching you; but, as, his anointing, is teaching you, and is, true, and is no falsehood, even just as it hath taught you, abide ye in him.
28 Und nun, Kindlein, bleibt in Ihm, auf daß wir, wenn Er erscheinen wird, freudige Zuversicht haben, und bei Seiner Zukunft vor Ihm nicht zuschanden werden.
And, now, dear children, abide ye in him, in order that, if he be made manifest, we may have boldness, and not be shamed away from him by his presence.
29 So ihr nun wißt, daß Er gerecht ist, erkennt auch, daß jeder, der die Gerechtigkeit übt, aus Ihm geboren ist.
If ye know that he is, righteous, ye perceive that—whosoever doeth righteousness, of him, hath been born.
