1 Korinther 4

1 Dafür erachte man uns: für Christus Diener und für Verwalter der Geheimnisse Gottes.

Thus let us be accounted of you as ministers of the Meshiha, and stewards of the mysteries of Aloha.

2 Übrigens fordert man von den Verwaltern, daß einer treu erfunden werde.

So now is it required of a steward that he be one found faithful.

3 Mir ist es ein Geringes, daß ich von euch oder von einem menschlichen

But to me it is a little thing to be Judged by you, or by any man; neither do I judge myself,

4 Ich bin mir wohl nichts bewußt, aber damit bin ich nicht gerechtfertigt; wer mich aber richtet, ist der Herr.

for of nothing in myself am I conscious; but not by this am I justified, but my judge is the Lord.

5 Darum richtet nichts vor der Zeit, bis der Herr komme, Der auch das in Dunkelheit Verborgene an das Licht bringen und die Ratschläge der Herzen offenbaren wird, und dann wird jedem von Gott sein Lob zuteil werden.

Therefore, do not judge before the time, until the Lord come, who will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the thoughts of hearts. Then will there be praise to each man from Aloha.

6 Dies, meine Brüder, habe ich euretwegen auf mich und Apollos gedeutet, daß ihr an uns lernt, nicht höher von euch zu halten, denn in der Schrift gestattet ist, auf daß sich nicht einer um jemandes willen über den anderen erhebe.

BUT these things, my brethren, for your sakes I have applied to the person of myself and of Apolo, that through us you may learn not to think of us beyond what is written; and that one above his neighbour may not be exalted on account of any thing.

7 Denn wer gibt dir den Vorzug? Was hast du, das du nicht empfangen hast? Wenn du es aber empfangen hast, was rühmst du dich, als hättest du es nicht empfangen?

For who distinguisheth thee? Or, what hast thou which thou hast not received? And if thou hast received, why dost thou boast as if thou hadst not received?

8 Schon gesättigt, schon reich seid ihr geworden, seid ohne uns Könige; und wäret ihr Könige, auf daß wir mit euch herrschten!

Now you are satiated, and are rich, and without us have reigned. But I would that you did reign, that we might also reign with you!

9 Denn mich bedünkt, daß Gott uns, die Apostel, als Geringste, als dem Tod Verfallene dargestellt hat, weil wir der Welt und Engeln und Menschen ein Schauspiel geworden sind.

But I consider that us, the apostles, Aloha hath set last, as unto death, to be a spectacle to the world, to angels, and to men,

10 Wir sind Toren um Christus willen, ihr aber seid weise in Christus; wir schwach, ihr aber stark; ihr seid hoch geehrt, wir ungeehrt.

We are fools for the sake of the Meshiha, but we are wise in the Meshiha; we are the weak, but you are the mighty; you are glorified, and we abased.

11 Bis auf diese Stunde leiden wir Hunger und Durst, sind nackend, werden geschlagen und haben keine bleibende Stätte.

Until this hour we hunger and thirst, we are naked and beaten and have no fixed dwelling;

12 Wir mühen uns ab, arbeiten mit unseren eigenen Händen, werden geschmäht und segnen, werden verfolgt und dulden,

and we labour, working with our hands. They revile us, and we bless; they persecute us, and we endure;

13 Wir werden gelästert, aber wir flehen

they maltreat us, and we pray for them; as the refuse of the world are we made and the execration of all men until now.

14 Nicht schreibe ich dies, um euch zu beschämen, sondern als meine lieben Kinder ermahne ich euch.

Not as to shame you write I these things, but as my beloved children I admonish (you).

15 Denn wenn ihr auch zehntausend Zuchtmeister hättet in Christus, so habt ihr doch nicht viele Väter; denn in Jesus Christus habe ich euch gezeugt durch das Evangelium.

For if you have ten thousand teachers in the Meshiha, yet not many fathers; for in Jeshu Meshiha I have begotten you through the gospel.

16 Darum ermahne ich euch, ahmt mir nach.

I entreat then of you that you be like me.

17 Deshalb habe ich auch Timotheus zu euch gesandt, der mein geliebtes und treues Kind im Herrn ist; er wird euch erinnern an meine Wege in Christus, wie ich überall in jeglicher Gemeinde lehre.

WHEREFORE I have sent to you Timotheos, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, that he may remind you of my ways in the Meshiha, according to that which I teach in all the churches.

18 Etliche blähen sich auf, in der Meinung, daß ich nicht zu euch käme.

But as if I were not coming to you, some of you are inflated.

19 Ich werde aber in Bälde zu euch kommen, so der Herr will, und sehen, nicht ihr Gerede, sondern ihre Wirkungskraft;

But if the Lord will, quickly come I unto you; and I will know not the words of them who exalt themselves, but their power.

20 Denn nicht in Worten, sondern in Kraft besteht das Reich Gottes.

For the kingdom of Aloha is not in word, but in power.

21 Was wollt ihr? Soll ich mit der Rute kommen, oder mit Liebe und dem Geist der Sanftmut?

How are you willing? with a rod shall I come to you, or with love and with the spirit of kindliness?
