1 Korinther 3

1 Auch ich, Brüder, konnte nicht mit euch reden als mit Geistigen, sondern als mit Fleischlichen, wie mit Kindern in Christus.

And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual, but as to carnal, even as to babes in Christ.

2 Milch gab ich euch zu trinken, keine

I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for until now ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

3 Weil ihr noch fleischlich seid; denn da unter euch noch Eifersucht, Streit und Spaltungen sind, seid ihr da nicht fleischlich und wandelt nach Menschenweise?

For ye are yet carnal: for though there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

4 Denn wenn einer sagt: Ich bin paulisch, ein anderer: Ich bin apollisch, seid ihr da nicht fleischlich?

For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

5 Wer ist nun Paulus, wer Apollos? Diener sind sie, durch die ihr seid gläubig geworden, wie es einem jeden der Herr gegeben hatte.

Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?

6 Ich habe gepflanzt, Apollos hat begossen, Gott aber hat das Gedeihen gegeben.

I have planted, Apollos watered; but God hath given the increase.

7 So ist nun weder der da pflanzt, noch der da begießt, etwas, sondern Gott, Der das Gedeihen gibt.

So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

8 Der aber pflanzt und der begießt, sind eins, jeder wird seinen Lohn empfangen nach seiner eigenen Arbeit.

Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

9 Denn wir sind Gottes Mitarbeiter; Gottes Ackerfeld, Gottes Gebäude seid ihr.

For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s field, ye are God’s building.

10 Nach der Gnade Gottes, die mir zuteil geworden, habe ich wie ein weiser Baumeister den Grund gelegt, ein anderer baut darauf, ein jeglicher aber sehe zu, wie er darauf baue.

According to the grace of God which is given to me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth upon it. But let every man take heed how he buildeth upon it.

11 Einen anderen Grund kann keiner legen, als den, der schon liegt, welcher ist Jesus Christus.

For other foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

12 Wenn einer aber auf diesen Grund baut Gold, Silber, kostbare Steine, Holz, Heu, Stoppel;

Now if any man buildeth upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

13 So wird eines jeglichen Werk offenbar werden; denn der Tag wird es kundtun, weil es sich durch das Feuer offenbart; und welcherlei eines jeglichen Werk sei, wird das Feuer bewähren.

Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.

14 Wenn eines Werk, das er darauf gebaut hat, bleiben wird, wird er Lohn empfangen.

If any man’s work abideth which he hath built upon it, he shall receive a reward.

15 Geht eines Werk im Feuer auf, so wird er dessen verlustig werden; er selbst wird gerettet werden, aber wie durch das Feuer hindurch.

If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

16 Wisset ihr nicht, daß ihr Gottes Tempel seid und der Geist Gottes in euch wohnt?

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

17 So einer den Tempel Gottes verdirbt, den wird Gott verderben, denn der Tempel Gottes ist heilig, wie denn auch ihr ein solcher seid.

If any man defileth the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

18 Niemand täusche sich; wenn einer vermeint weise zu sein unter euch in dieser Welt, der werde ein Tor, auf daß er (aiōn g165)

Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. (aiōn g165)

19 Denn dieser Welt Weisheit ist Torheit bei Gott; denn es steht geschrieben: Er fängt die Weisen in ihrer List.

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

20 Und abermals: Der Herr kennt die Gedanken der Weisen, daß sie eitel sind.

And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

21 Darum rühme sich keiner der Menschen, denn alles ist euer,

Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;

22 Sei es nun Paulus, oder Apollos, oder Kephas, oder die Welt, oder Leben, oder Tod, Gegenwärtiges, oder Zukünftiges: alles ist euer.

Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;

23 Ihr aber gehört Christus, Christus aber Gott.

And ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s.
