Offenbarung 10

1 Und ich sah einen andern starken Engel aus dem Himmel herabsteigen, bekleidet mit einer Wolke, und der Regenbogen [war] über seinem Haupte und sein Angesicht wie die Sonne und seine Füße wie Feuersäulen.

And I saw another strong angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud, and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was like the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire.

2 Und er hielt in seiner Hand ein offenes Büchlein; und er setzte seinen rechten Fuß auf das Meer, den linken aber auf die Erde,

And he had in his hand a little book open. And he set his right foot upon the sea, and the left upon the land;

3 und er rief mit lauter Stimme, wie ein Löwe brüllt. Und als er gerufen hatte, ließen die sieben Donner ihre Stimmen vernehmen.

and he cried with a loud voice, as a lion roars. And when he had cried, the seven thunders uttered their voices.

4 Und als die sieben Donner geredet hatten, wollte ich schreiben; und ich hörte eine Stimme aus dem Himmel, die sprach: Versiegle, was die sieben Donner geredet haben, und schreibe es nicht auf!

And when the seven thunders had spoken, I was about to write; and I heard a voice from heaven saying, Seal up the things which the seven thunders spoke, and write them not.

5 Und der Engel, den ich auf dem Meer und auf der Erde stehen sah, erhob seine rechte Hand zum Himmel

And the angel whom I saw standing upon the sea, and upon the land, lifted up his right hand to heaven,

6 und schwur bei dem, der von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit lebt, der den Himmel geschaffen hat und was darin ist, und die Erde und was darauf ist, und das Meer und was darin ist: es wird keine Zeit mehr sein; (aiōn g165)

and swore by him who liveth for ever and ever, who created the heaven, and the things therein, and the earth and the things therein, and the sea, and the things therein, that there should be no longer delay; (aiōn g165)

7 sondern in den Tagen der Stimme des siebenten Engels, wenn er posaunen wird, ist das Geheimnis Gottes vollendet, wie er es seinen Knechten, den Propheten, als frohe Botschaft verkündigt hat.

but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then should be finished the mystery of God, as he declared the glad tidings to his servants the prophets.

8 Und die Stimme, die ich aus dem Himmel gehört hatte, redete abermals mit mir und sprach: Geh hin, nimm das offene Büchlein in der Hand des Engels, der auf dem Meer und auf der Erde steht!

And the voice which I heard out of heaven I heard again speaking to me, and saying: Go, take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel who is standing upon the sea, and upon the land.

9 Und ich ging zu dem Engel und sprach zu ihm: Gib mir das Büchlein! Und er spricht zu mir: Nimm und verschlinge es; und es wird dir im Bauche Bitterkeit verursachen, in deinem Munde aber wird es süß sein wie Honig!

And I went to the angel, telling him to give me the little book. And he saith to me, Take it, and eat it up; and it will make thy stomach bitter, but in thy mouth it will be sweet as honey.

10 Und ich nahm das Büchlein aus der Hand des Engels und verschlang es; und es war in meinem Munde süß wie Honig. Als ich es aber verschlungen hatte, wurde es mir bitter im Leibe.

And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey; and when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter.

11 Und er sprach zu mir: Du sollst abermals weissagen über viele Völker und Nationen und Zungen und Könige.

And it was said to me, Thou must again prophesy concerning many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
